The code is only eligible with the Japanese version of the game, so even if the game get's ported you most likely won't be able to use the code, cuz even though PS3 games are region free, the DLCs aren't. Which means that you can only use Japanese DLCs with the Japanese version and the US ones with the US release :( (ie. you can't download a DLC from Japanese PSN for instance and use it with you US game)
