^ i know he did but all that doesn't tell me if its a picture book or a "text" book with pictures
|
^I think it's the latter :P
|
I give up on waiting, because it's been too much time without any Ayu release. I'm angry, okay
|
btw, we don't have any further info about the Lifestyle Photobbok, right ?
Not even the cover... Well let's wait few days more ^^ |
Wow ayu fans are spoiled. I know this has been said before, but her releases are actually quite frequent for the amount of work that needs to go into them. Japanese/eastern releases in general are that way. Fans start chomping at the bit when they get to the 6 month mark with no new release. smh.
Yeah, it's inconvenient and a little strange for ayu to not at least announce something over a year after her last full album release and about 5 months after her last mini-album. But think of western releases! Evanescence went, what? 5 years with no new album? There was 3 years between Panic's first album and their second. There's typically 3-4 years in between Linkin Park albums. I could go on and on. Japanese artists are for some reason expected to pump out music at a ridiculous pace, but I don't understand that expectation. It's strange for her to wait this long, sure, but don't you want a quality release? Don't you want to be pleased with the result of her work? Then let the woman work! |
That's not a wine... I don't think that quality will be better after some time. She already has made all recordings
and seems now she's working on her Love Horel Tour |

Most western artists are like "ohhh I just released and album and have to do some promotion...I'm so tired, I'm gonna take a year off....." |
^ JT anyone?? lol
|
^
^Totally agree with you :yes I think we'll get the album in march/april,so an announcement in february is pretty probable |
#justsaying I thought it was hard work to be in the music business...but apparently not if you're a performer in the US. LOL yes performer, most of these chart-toppers are most definitely NOT "artists" lol

It's completely understandable to take your time when you're in the writing and recording process. Believe me, I've been there and I'm still there with my own band. When you're doing everything yourself, no writers, composers, or huge staff helping you out, it takes major effort to produce an album. It's not laziness. It's a process. Ayu has advantages and assistance that a lot of other artists don't have or don't want to make use of. It's not about talent or dedication, I'm sorry. |

Most, if not all, popular American singers have producers, lyricists, composers, etc. They never work on an album solo. Who were you thinking of exactly, Sirea? I can't name a single western pop singer who writes everything. You talk like Ayumi is the only one with composers and producers. I don't think American singers are lazy, however.
|
she entered the business as an idol, her artistic growth and songwriting at some point in her career were just a bonus. composers are a standard practice for any non singer-songwriter. the only difference is that Japanese tend to write their lyrics more often themselves since you're expected to show commitment on a deeper level for your music. though this does have exceptions too (amuro for example).
