without timmy's vocals, this could be one of her most diverse and interesting records.

Aderianu 13th March 2012 09:28 PM

I love NaNaNa! And Timmy in this and other songs.
Tell me why is just epic

pepper 13th March 2012 09:29 PM

I can't decide to which track listen cause album is full of awesomeness. So it's going with the list xD

AyuWorld 13th March 2012 09:35 PM

too much awesomeness! return road alone is epicness! reminds me, tell me why, Letter omg too many favorite tracks!

kimmeh 13th March 2012 09:36 PM

Now we only need on the booklet and my day would be complete.
Well, it would actually be overkill

BlackSilence 13th March 2012 09:39 PM

The album is EPIC, well I could totally live without Party Queen track there, I skip it anyway.... And I love the quirky Eyes, Smoke, Magic, it makes me think of Ch.Aguilera's Candyman and CHICAGO movie.... the next LOVE and the following are probably very very new for Ayu, I actually think she pulled them really well. The rest of the album? This is the Ayu I got to know when I heard Memorial Address performed in that red dress, which was my first Ayu song. Such an amazing feeling to have that back. *sigh*

The arangements are great, the power is great, the vocals are perfect. I sooooooo missed all that!

I think this record is diverse and interesting BECAUSE she has Timmy on there. I feel as if a male backup singer really complements her voice nicely, it adds a depth to it. A sort of duality, too. I mean.. she's never done a male back up vocalist so prominently before. That alone makes this record diverse for me.

to me there is difference between timmy and a male vocalist. i have always preferred male back-ups and choruses for ayu, but genuinely don't think timmy adds anything to ayu other than a different perspective. he doesn't bother me conceptually, but he cannot perform.

ooh, good point. Thank you for elaborating!

I think Timmy's warm tenor is a perfect compliment to Ayumi's sometimes rather cold mezzosoprano.

LEOyumi 13th March 2012 09:53 PM

I also think Timmy is a great addition to the songs. Although his rap in NaNaNa is very strange, his participation in the other songs made them really great.

God how I LOVE DAI. His compositions are always pure GOLD! He really knows how to compose Perfect Ayu songs. This nostalgy is so heartbreaking :D I hope HAL's gonna come back too.

AyuWorld 13th March 2012 10:02 PM

The original composers from Greece are credited as far as I know, so it's all legal and definitely not stolen, if it's a cover or not we cannot know, it depends on if Ayumi knows of the other song or just bought the same melody from the composers.

Suteisi 13th March 2012 10:21 PM

I am pretty sure Ayu wrote her own lyrics, so basically they've just purchased the composition. It's not really anything new for the majority of Asian artists.
