I don't know, but she really didn't need this whole "5 releases" thing in her discography at all. I mean, vogue, Far away and SEASONS was a great project and it made a lot of sense. Kumi's 12 weeks 12 singles were at least marketed as singles (as well as v/Fa/S) so one would expect they would eventually end up on an album or a compilation album. IMHO their masking of LOVE and again as mini albums was a terrible move and completely unnecessary (maybe not for avex, but for fans it definitely was).

Also her covers are just getting worse and worse. I won't comment further on this since this is all subjective.

Meh I just don't know what to think of this all.

It's not like there's a lot of example. There's only part of me. So I don't think you can say that there's a rule.
The 5 release is a countdown celebration for her 15th anniversary. It just lets the fans to look forward to the big event (or at least what it's supposed to be)
The album covers are nice! What it lacks is creativity that's all. I also miss her olden days creativity with theme covers like duty, I am... a little cosplay would be nice :love

M was a single first.
It didn't go from the BEST album to single to Album
so you example is wrong.

the only other examples we have is Part of Me, Rainbow, and that other song on A Ballads... those have never been released onto a new album before.

You & me started on a Best Of album, so it was already 1/3 ahead of M.
Only difference is that M was a single and You & Me wasn't

No I didn't, if you read fully, the only example I quote was part of me. I put down M cos it was in a best/compilation before an album. And yeah I treat LOVE and again as singles.
As for RAINBOW, there's already an album named after it. So it would b kinda ridiculous to release it in another album after it. Satsugyo shashin was never her song to began with

So yes, your example is wrong.
Also, it doesnt matter how you treat the mini's they were marketed as MINI's not singles... thats way some people are pissed.

and SO WHAT if Rainbow was on another album, its a valid example. And satsugyo shashin being a cover means nothing.
She sampled Memorial address/covered it and it appeared on an album... whats your point?

As I said, You need to read my 1st post properly... I've STATED that my only example is part of me. I only put M as it's the only song that passes through a best/compilation before a studio album.
It does matters how I treat the mini's as singles as this is my opinion on why I didn't find it strange to have them on the album. By saying that how I treat these mini's as singles doesn't matters, you're being rude to my opinions and I think everyone in this forum should have a say their opinion.
Satsugyo Shashin is a cover but lyrics wasn't by her. I don't think ayu would want to put songs that wasn't written by her to be inside a studio album.
As I said about RAINBOW, if you still want to have it your way, fine. But You can't say that I'm wrong about it too. I still find that there's too few example to set out as an 'ayu' rule that special tracks from best/compilation cant be included in studio albums.
And I don't know why there's so many hatred for the song You & Me.
It might not be her best song but I still love it. It only appeared in ASB and LOVE again and people are making a big fuss out of it.

I did read your first post, stop being rude. I was commenting on your M comment. Because you made the comment that it appeared on a compilation before an album, which is true but NOT the point the poster was trying to make. It was a single BEFORE she put it on the compilation.
And how you treat the MINI's and singles DOESN'T matter when it comes to official statements about the mini's. All that matters is how avex and ayumi treated them which is what caused most of the backlash in the first place. It's not being rude. I'm not being rude, however I find yours a bit rude to null people's opinion. Are you going to tell Yahoo that those were Mini's not singles? Or IRAJ that 'A' is a single and not album?
Of cos I know M is a single before going to BEST then to album.

Whatever it is, there's always a beginning. A beginning for Mini album in 2004. A beginning for a brand new track album. A beginning in adding 'Mini's into album. There's no rule when it comes to ayu. She does best at surprising people. Regardless of good or bad.

I didn't realise Memorial address was a cover or used a sample :S what was the original?

I think the original point was meant to be that this isn't the first time a song has appeared 3 times in an 'unusual' way (usual being single, album, best if it makes 3 appearences)

I never told you you cant think what ever you want, or you cant have an opinion. What I said was that it doesn't matter, there is a difference there. And its not rude, its facts. Everyone can have an opinion, that doesnt me everyones opinion matters.

I asked you to read again as I've clearly stated in my 1st post that I've only regard part of me as the ONLY example and it seems that you cant get it in your mind as you keep on debating on M with me when I don't really regard it as an example. And in no way am I ignoring your opinions and the words you've said. yeah end of discussion if you can't get my post into your mind...
