Looks like she got headache more than relaxing.

I m listening right now to RELAXIN (I m at the dub mix) and it s really doing its job, relaxing me. I mean, I ve also wanted to listen to new stuff from mika but for me, this is a really nice release mostly because I didn t know any of remixes/lives included excepting the song Memory. And the good thing is that I get to listen all of it as a collection, so its working. I like how she put background music on the poem interludes to connect the songs between them. Wish I knew what she is sayin. Funny how her voice sounds so cute when she s speaking.

And the covers are top notch. These are my fave covers from her I think.

Wow, the Reggae Rockers remix is so good. In fact, all tracklist is so melodic and smooth.

lol, everybody is so indifferent with this release. guess I m one of the few that s enjoying

^it's a good release, cool concept, great selection of songs. I think I would be happy with it if it wasn't the 3rd collection album in a row... I'm not gonna complain though, the photoshoot is amazing, the selection works well, and I like the little poems she included.

Omg, it's true, the third compilation in a row
O_O

Sony lately has been poor when come to marketing Mika especially when comes to her putting out a bunch of releases that feels so pointless

But at least the concept of RELAXIN' is interesting & something that I haven't seen other artistes tackle . And thankfully there's a completely new photoshoot that accompanied RELAXIN' in which Mika looks downright great

I think I might add this to my "to buy" list.

I don't like to praise cash grabs but I agree about the photoshoot. I'm a sucker for photoshoots and photo books so having a new photoshoot will shut me up lol

mhhhh as I am in Japan in spring I thought I might catch a Mika concert too as she is touring currently^^
Does anyone know if chance is high to get tickets at a reseller shop the day of the concert? I hoped to get them a bit cheaper as normal price (can be crappy seats) as she is not my main idol.

Utena 15th March 2015 02:40 PM

I would say it depends on which show you're aiming for. If it's a Tokyo show, maybe.
But to be quite honest I've never really looked at resellers shops simply because my friends who are fanclub members usually buy tickets for me. I'll ask around though, maybe someone will be able to give you a better answer. Your best bet will be auctions though, especially if you don't care about the seats. You can easily find tickets for a decent price.

~angel*ayumi~ 15th March 2015 03:27 PM

Yes itīs Tokyo date (16th April) And I donīt want to buy tickets in advance to be honest because 16th is the day I arrive and I am not sure if I am awake enough to go on a concert at the evening, it will be a spontaneous decicion^^ Have to look were the location ans reseller stores are located though... so much to do still for the trip @_@

Utena 15th March 2015 08:52 PM

you can always try :) I'll ask my friends if they know if it's common for fans to sell tickets outside the venue as well, as I have no idea myself.

I'm really waiting for something NEW from her, because not counting split single with Miliyah she's inactive since 2 years. "DEARS", "TEARS" and "RELAXIN'" are fillers for me. I wouldn't be surprised if she would release some cover album next (as another filler).

~angel*ayumi~ 16th March 2015 09:55 AM

@Utena
Thank you very much ^_^

KarenPang 16th March 2015 10:02 AM

If you could , you definitely should go see Mika since you'll be in Tokyo next month

I don't know what will her future plans be after MIKA NAKASHIMA Concert Tour 2015 "THE BEST" ~DEARS & TEARS~ finished in May since things are more or less hanging up in the air due to her releasing 3 rather un-necessary releases back to back which's so not like her at all

Hopefully she will announce what she plans to do next on the last date of her tour

I will definetly try, depends on how much sleep I can catch on the plane. (I canīt sleep very well in moving places ><)

This whole situation gives me ayu vibes. The moment I get into her shit goes downhill. Mika better release an album or its just gonna be really sad.

Also Utena maybe you should update the first post.

She already released a compilation of all her cover songs, lmao. It came out just over a year ago.

God, I'd kill for some new Mika material.

orbitalaspect 20th March 2015 08:10 PM

I'd love something new from Mika. Something with a little of the reggae sound from Eien no Uta and dance-pop from STAR.

oaristos 20th March 2015 08:13 PM

i might be late but i'm completely in love with RELAXIN'. although i'd love some new stuff i'm glad she released this album.
