I’m still mad about LOVE again don’t @ me

Sweet scar is definitely one of her most beautiful songs, I love it. The lyrics are pure poetry, too.

At the time I found Love again to be Ayu's most basic album since A Song for xx. It felt like leftovers from Love songs which was sooo suprisingly original and fresh. LS came so soon after Rock n Roll Cicus and was a total 180. It was a great update of the 90s J-pop sound but with a fresh take of orchestra and synths. Love again just felt like generic anime songs: the nostalgia without the fresh originality. Over the years alot of the songs have grown on me but yeah at the time it was a shock. I also had my first period of being totally unintrested in Ayu since becoming a fan and it seemed like alot of fans were on that same wave length. The mystique of Ayu had completley been lifted as a result of the Manny and twitter drama and it just pushed alot of fans away

Yeah, DAI getting arrested is a bit of a surprise... though he kind of had that "super chill" vibe so I am not that surprised about the cannabis.

Not too certain how it will affect his career, depends on what kind of ruling there is, I guess.

Also the news is a bit relevant since he "last" composed Sweet scar for Ayu....

Was it only weed? Japan really needs to get with the times. :laugh

I agree about sweet scar and it's nice to see it appreciated. LOVE again had some absolutely beautiful ballads. Missing, SAKURA, and Ivy are still some of my favorites.

Back in June apparently Komuro said he had "made 3 songs", one was Nogizaka46's, one was Ayu's... but then there's still one to come. People think it could be for another avex soloist or something.
