I PRAY TO THE LORD THAT ISN'T KAT-TUN'S CHOREOGRAPHY FOR LIVES. :lmfao
i've never seen a drama opener like that before, LOLLOL! even Sunako is dancing. but overall impression, YamaNade's pretty good so far. i think they rushed some things (but i'm sure they will elaborate on some aspects later~), but i adore all the characters thus far except for Tego's character (WHAT IS NEW). time went pretty fast! i think that's a good thing though, because it didn't drag out. :) also, that little kid is cute. :P ALSO. was the chick that played Sunako's friend Kobayashi Ryoko? as in...the girl from Maou? as in...the Juliet to Ueda's Romeo? :P |

omg David Ito (who plays Tsukasa's butler in Hana Yori Dango) is featured in episode 1 too so's Uchida Asahi & Hoshino Aki too anyway I wait for the drama to be subbed . No point watching a raw episode where I can't understand anything D: |
you think after learning 1 1/2 years of Japanese thus far, you should be able to pick up some lines or something, but nope! i was just like when i first watched j-dramas. i have no idea what they're saying, LOL. other than "MABUSHII~" (IT'S BRIGHT!~") :laugh
OMG YES, THE BUTLER! no wonder he looked familiar. ...but he was like...rubbing Kame's butt. >_>;; |
OMG that's nishida?! i didn't even recognize him! my memory is....terrible :dead2

^ the opener is the only thing really...off. they don't dance anywhere else, if you were wondering, lol. it's the only part where i got second-hand embarassment. :laugh
if you like Hana Yori Dango or typical Japanese humor (like in Nodame, but...not that intense. LOL.) you should give it a try. in some ways it reminds me of Nobuta wo Produce, but only the whole transforming her into a pretty girl aspect. :) |
^that's good to know - I'll watch it then. I like HYD and Nodame Cantabile. On the other hand I don't like NwP and Mei-chan no Shitsuji, for example. It's a thin line for me with japanese doramas - there are some I just cannot watch, no matter how many people love them. Sometimes it's the other way round. People hate a dorama, but I like it. Well, I'm willing to give it a chance, it might surprise me. And Kame looks good. hehe...

soooo BANDAGE, i kinda really want to see it! (wish i was in Japan, lol) : REALLY DETAILED FAN REVIEW (HUGE SPOILERS)
i like angst. so, i'll probably love the **** out of this movie. :P i read it since quite frankly...it's going to be a while for the movie to pop up digitally online & with subs. so when that comes around, i'll probably forget what i read anyway. :laugh i knew "Hatachi no Sensou" (& "Genki") would be the prime focus of this movie. >:] |
the fangirls here are doing everything it takes to get Encore Flims (who brought in Gokusen last year) to bring in BANDAGE
I don't know if it's ever possible but we'll see about that . If that's going to happen , hell I will watch it the story plot's interesting & quite realistic to a certain extent anyway .... ja.wikipedia put that the rating for the 1st episode for Yamanade is 12.1% OK that's a sigh of relief :laugh |
^ there is a possibility (...i think i read this on kattunlove, actually) that BANDAGE will be coming worldwide. IF IT COMES TO LA, I'M GOING. :laugh
maybe JinJin will come here too. OMG CAN U IMAGINE. I'D DIE. :P |
:laugh
DramaCrazy's subbing the drama like what they did for Tokyo DOGS YAY <3 which they just did <3 - http://www.dramacrazy.net/japanese-d...-shichi-henge/ it's quite LQ but this will do for now I think I will be watching it either tomorrow or later today I see how |
yay! 12.1% is pretty okay, especially in today's j-drama world, so i'm glad. :) i was expecting over 10%, but less than or equal to 15%.
BUT SUBS ARE OUT? BRB RE-WATCHING. :laugh |
12.1 seems good to me, especially when drama ratings aren't that high anymore. I hope it won't drop too drastically though. First episodes are usually the ones with the highest ratings.
Although I'm not the biggest fan of Jin, I have to say I respect him more after watching the Break the Records documentary. What he said about going to America, for example, it sounded very mature. All of the sounded mature in that documentary. I felt sorry for Junno at some point, when he said something like he is so lucky to be chosen out of hundreds of juniors and being able to do what he wants. For some reason I doubt, Kame and Jin feel this way. The documentary really made me feel for TTUN. Though I think Ueda is weird. haha. |
aw , Ueda still has a place in my heart as he's the 1st guy in the group that caught my attention
He's adorable <3 & with a cute nickname like Tat-chan , what's there not to adore him xD <3 I think he & I are on the same wavelengths in that we're both DoS except he's the slient kind but me I'm the more outspoken one haha |
^not to say I dislike him. I just think he's strange. Some of his solos are weird.
I know exactly what you mean about attention grabbing. When I had no idea who KAT-TUN were back in 2006 I was in Japan that summer and there was 24hour-TV, that charity thing, going on. Just after debut they had KAT-TUN as main personalities. I didn't know anything about them. So I watched them on TV and I thought later that Ueda would probably be the one with the most fans. But he wasn't, I was totally surprised, when I started to look into them. Looks are deciving, ne? :) I didn't even notice Kame and Jin, the so called fan-magnets. haha. |
Ueda was the 1st dude in the group to caught my attention . I'm not sure why but I think he was & still is adorable & his body speaks volume too xD
yeah I don't like some of his solos like LOST which really made me lost o.o I personally think he's the most talented in the group when comes to writing/composing his solo songs I'm still pissed that J-One Records haven't let him record a whole treasure troove of his solo songs & putting all of them into an album grr :eviltongu |
