my dissapointment is why she bring back inspire and because of you? she just perform it at CDL 09-10, i think there is a lot of other song that can fit in, like outselves or game...

and i feel so bored with until that day...i want something else...

she has a TONS of songs but she choose that song again..uggghhh...

Very surprise she did not sing You Were.... Maybe at a later date, she'll put in an extra ballad section with montage and You were...(and optional meaning of love), and skip About You, Because of You, and/or Until that Day.

To explain this, I will dig up Ayu's interview about this tour translated by Misa-chan:
"The script for this year's Live Tour is already done. When I was writing the script for CDL, I felt I had written something that could come out in 2 different patterns. I guess the CDL can serve as a prelude to this tour then."

I believe she took the skeleton of CDL and inserted RnRC songs and an ARENA TOURish nature into it.

i guess that it's rly kind of like the sequel of CDL09-10 where she sang those BoY and Inspire? i forgot already..

This sounds amazing. I can't even stop myself from getting excited x___x I usually abstain from TV versions (except for CDLs, since they're shown in full), but if a TV version of this concert comes out, I might just have to indulge. I'm so effing excited, I can't stand the thought of waiting a year for the DVD release again :\

Great review!!! BALLAD sounds the most interesting..I was afraid she wasnt doing much but to preserve her vocals but then again, i think it works either ways. Goshh..the screens really sound brilliant but I cant picture where that floating one is hahaha...nvm..that'll be a surprise..till..the finale news video

Ok, here is my review. I won't go into huge details since others have already done so.

-She didn't have a bad outfit - I liked everything; nothing that made me go 'wtf'

-The Introduction was super looong. I looked at my watch and the show started at 6:45 but Ayu didn't come onstage until 7:00.

-I was so glad she performed alterna - from that moment on, the concert could do no wrong for me.

-Was really surprised to Rainy Day and Memorial Address. Especially Memorial Address I didn't think I would ever hear live - so at that point in the concert I teared up a bit but I didn't feel anything for Ballad (since its basically like watching a soap opera or something^_^) even though it seems all the other girls from AHS did, haha.

-Ballad is my least favorite song on the album, but the performance at least kept me interested. A lot of over the top acting and Shuya spits out blue blood - that made me go like "woah". Surprising.

-There is some recycling; the performances of About You, Because of You, and Inspire are basically the same as the CDL. But I didn't see the CDL so I didn't mind. The split leg pants also make another appearance, but this time it really kind of fit with the Arabian theme of that section.

- There was hardly any Shuya and Ayu in this concert! Yay! Her dancers were still extremely prominant of course, but there was no one dancer that Ayu spends a ton of time with.

-Vocal wise I thought About You sounded about the same as the CDL and Because of You and Inspire were slightly better than CDL. Overall I thought her vocals ranged from alright to good most of the night - there was nothing that was really bad, but nothing that was really great either. Best of all though, there was nearly no lipsynching - even Sexy Little Things and Step You sounded at the very least half live which was surprising especially for Sexy Little Things! This was probably one of my least favorite Step You performances though because she doesn't really move at all for like half the song - just sitting in a cup.

-Lady Dynamite was much better live I thought.

-Surreal was performed pretty well and Evolution sounded.....like Evolution has been sounding lately.

-There was no major like set piece of the concert, but the overall show was very well put together. If you don't like clowns though you will probably hate this concert - they are all over the place. The show was like a more classy/freaky version of the A-Museum stage. The screen videos are probably the best she has had I think at least in terms of setting a mood.

Overall, I really thought this concert was her best since Miss Understood and overall enjoyment wise might be up there with My Story for me; but it didn't really have anything innovative like My Story did so I'm not sure if I'd rank this over My Story just yet.

Sorry for the not so detailed review, but my brain is still kind of turned off right now. :)

Geez, everything about this tour is so exciting, I really wish I could have gone. Hopefully she'll still be touring and singing by the time I hit age 25 :P. (18 now)

I have a theory...
When Ayu is especially pleased with an album, she dedicates herself to the absolute MAX creatively for the concerts, etc...
Her creative vision is really strong, and that's what we see as a result in My Story tour, (miss) understood tour, ETC. :yes

OMG. i am loving all the outfits tis time round. even thou it's just 6 main costumes change. it's the best 6. i love her bunny outfits lots. something fresh and different & she managed to pull of without looking cheap. very cute with the bunny ears. the rocker outfit looks cool too. 2010 is definitely ayu's comeback year.

Awesome tour outfits. I remember last year around this time we got our first glimpse of the horrendous NL outfits...all is well again in the world of Ayu's concert art direction.

This tour sounds AMAZING. My heart is beating really fast now!! ^.^
The outfits sound GORGEOUS and everbody is so excited about the screens, that I can't wait to see them. I'm so happy, that she really had a circus-theme for the stage and the outfits!! :heart
And it makes me happy, that everyone was satisfied with Ayu's voice. She is really always trying her hardest!!

And "BALLAD"...wahhh, after reading Misa-chan's review of this performance, I already know, that I will LOVE it!

That's what makes the tours "exciting" for him, I think. However, reliance on props imo is never a good thing.

We still have the giant glass xD The ship was there to celebrate her 10th Anniversary, I would never expect something like that to happen ever again.

For me. a good ayuconcert is a concert with huge objects and big shows.. Like an alterna-ball, a mirrorcle-ship, boys&girls-fountains, rainy day-rain, endlessorrow-discoball..
This show is probably still better than shows of other artists, but if you like 'big shows with big props' like I do, then there's no way this show will live up to my expectations..
However, the tracklist is extremely good; alot of my favourite songs are there.. But I'm usually not going to ayu's concerts for the music, I go for the show

No, I got my ticket for the show's finale. I'll be liking the concert, probably. I can't judge the performance yet.. but I can judge the lack of 'what I like most about ayu's concerts'. Because the reviews and pictures tell us, that they are pretty much not there. Therefore it's very logical that for me personally, this will be a weak concert.

I think it's weird to get disappointed when you haven't been to the tour yet or at least watched it. That's the same with people hating apples even though they haven't tasted it.

@Rody!: Don't worry, the lack of big props isn't something which will jump out in your face and stuff. It was only after the concert when I was thinking back that I realized that they didn't use anthing big. It really was a good show imo, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. ;)
