i love the guitar sound on this..it has a little bit of the rock feeling.. but also pop one..i don't know how to describe it..but it's just sounded good!

After 1 listen, it's already stuck in my head. I LOVE when songs are like that. For me this is most likely going to be another fun/classic ayu summer song, but I can tell it won't be able to blend with the others because her vocal technique is so different, can't wait for it in full!

If there was a choice between a 2A, 2 2As or a 4A for this possible Kachoufuugetsu theme, I think it is more likely to be a single 2A or 4A as Avex probably wouldn't release two Ayu singles on the same day or close to each other or her no.1 streak would be broken. Also, finding two separate summer dates for release with little competition would be difficult...

Kachoufuugetsu is this Japanese idiom that's used to represent ~beauty~. Flowers, birds, wind, and the moon. Ayu used this in Moments when she was writing the lyrics.

Judging from the titles, she has half of the idiom done with blossom (flowers) and MOON (the moon, duh?)~ So people have speculated that she might do a kachoufuugetsu single, but I don't think it's likely. Just a very slim possibility.

I'd be sooo happy if it was a 4A single! It'd be like... a dream come true. I'm sure I was an Ayu fan when the earlier long singles were released like H and & but I wasn't really up to date at that time so to me it'd be like a great new thing for me in a way, you know?

In any case, MOON and blossom would make an incredible single on their own!

Most new fans haven't been around for a multi-A. I think the closest we've gotten was 2006's BLUE BIRD (I think it was going to be called B) which got its 3A status taken away after the 3rd A-side went unfinished or something. I think it ended up surfacing as NEXT LEVEL since it's so similar and fits perfectly with BLUE BIRD, but.. who knows?

I was thankfully around right after & was released and that era was so insane, haha.

But yes, I'm totally picturing blossom's PV away from Japan. I pictured something like fairyland; that sort of feeling. The preview made me remember the scene in the water, with all the flowers around.

I am too but I don't know how to explain it! I think I might just not like how it's stylized, though I can't think of another plausible way for it to be written.

she could just put the second song on there like with fairyland, HEAVEN and BLUE BIRD. they will make an album appearance anyway. though avex is obsessed with double a-sides now. I guess they think it boosts sales, especially with multiple versions that contain split content.

Yeah she could but since 2005 she's released 13 singles, 8 of which were double a-side singles (I had to wiki' that xD), so she could totally do just blossom or MOON, either one containing the other as a b-side, but it's more likely for her to do the 2Aside route I'd assume. I really do want a 3 or 4A release though.

It sounds a lot like HAL to me, unless CMJK stole HAL's keyboards recently lol. I love HAL so much... Oddly "blossom" sounds like it would fit perfectly on RAINBOW/Memorial address. I like it (based on the HAL-like arrangement), but at the same time, I really don't think it's that "fresh"... Great title though. :D
