I would definitely say Japanese for me. I used to be really into Kpop a couple of years ago but things caused me to turn away from it (some kpop stans and the musical in general, I find to be quite lackluster now that I listen to it. I don't see what the hype is for anymore. IMO kpop hasn't been great since '07) Still listen to the artists that I like though, And I listen to JayChou, wang lee hom, elva tsaio, and Jolin Tsai from time to time
Japanese, then Mandarin after that.
Japanese but I do listen to a lot of Korean music too.

As much as I have japanese music on my computer, I listen to korean music a lot more because I like it so much so I voted for "korean". :)
Japanese then Korean
Japanese > Indonesian > Korean > Thai
It totally depends on the time actually. I go through phases with music and will listen to pretty much one artist or one language exclusively for a few months or so. I usually alternate between Japanese, Cantonese & Mandarin, and Korean music during these times, but never mixed (except Cantonese/Mandarin). I'd say the four are all tied really.
I ended up choosing Cantonese just because no one's given that option any love, and it is one of my most listened to languages. |
I listen to 99% Japanese music
Japanese, some Mandarin , and a tiny little bit of Korean.
Mostly Japanese and a little Korean (mostly Big Bang)
Japanese
In General Japanese, but at the moment Korean is dominating.
Mostly japanese, but I like korean too!
Mostly Japanese, some korean, a little bit of mandarin.

jpn only :D
Japanese of course :D
LOOOOL!! |
Mostly Japanese, but I occasionally branch out into Chinese or Korean.
It used to be Japanese .. But I finally stepped into the dark side that is Kpop :laugh. Right now it's Korean, because even though I've been listening to Kpop for a year only, I'm still exploring .. I still listen to my favorite Jpop artists from time to time, but Kpop kinda ruined it for me =(. /feels bad forever
Korean with Japanese as a clooooooooooose second
Japanese - it's my major in university, so I understand it quite well now. I don't know any Chinese or Korean, so I prefer to listen to Japanese versions of Kpop or Cpop songs if they exist..
Japanese because that's like my third mother language after Indonesian and English,
I also listen to Korean as well and a little Chinese |
Almost all Japanese, though with extremely limited conditions, other Asian, such as Korean and Chinese...
Japanese
first it was only japanese, then i got a bit of Korean, and eventually Chinese, so actually all 3. But i guess japanese is still the most listened one.

Japanese, by far, Korean being the second one
Still, I listen to like half of the songs in Japanese I used to six years ago, I was much more into asian songs back then |

Japanese
Japanese definitely!
japanese:yes
It's a pretty close tie with Japanese and Korean for me but I went with Japanese. I love the language. And though I love the fast pace of kpop and the fun, energetic songs I typically listen to Japanese more.
Japanese in my personal audio system, English (DJ mix) when I'm driving coz my husband not into Japanese song :P
With the amount of people listening korean artists, I though the percentage would be higher. But maybe the thread was created before the peak of Korean pop?
Recently I've been listening to lots of k-pop so I picked Korean, but in reality, I've always listened to Japanese and know more Japanese artists & music than Korean.
Probably Korean at the moment. I only know a couple of singers who could be classed as Thai and Malay pop but they both sing in English (Tata Young and Yuna.) If anyone could recommend me some great South-East Asian pop that would be cool actually.
Japanese (95% being Ayu), a little bit of Kpop and I think two or three songs of Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai xD
