i believe she still can hold tokyo dome concert, she will still have a lot of audience that want to see her concert...

but from what i know, that she can't do indoor stadium concert anymore because of her ears condition...

it will be too much for her ears, and can affect her other ear too...

7 concerts in a row, only Ayu can pulled something like that off.

Maybe she'll do one of those songs marathon on her last concert by singing all 50 singles songs. :P

I don't know why Ayu is trying to "overclock" herselves (that means, she's trying to exceed her limits in concerts)...

I prefer Ayu to do an outside concert - she has been an a-nation regular, but what about for concert tours? When was the last time - almost ten years ago?

se7entheaven 1st July 2010 02:40 AM

I think she'll just extend the setlist and maybe some new costumes

gallowsCalibrator 1st July 2010 02:43 AM

I hope she can do something reli awesome and go all out for it!!!! But that would put a big toll on her health~ Ayu needs to rest & not put so much pressure and work on herself! :cry

aura~ 1st July 2010 02:58 AM

I'll try to go... I'm already checking for hostels and flights... for now I think I can.. now I just need my mum to let me go LOOOL

this is just going to be F----- EPIC! If she does AT10+ single songs + 48/49/50 songs... OMG... XD

Bigtop 1st July 2010 02:59 AM

I'm thinking that when Ayu's done with her 50th single promotion, this and the Countdown Live 2010-2011, I think Ayu should have a long-term break...

We're getting tired of Ayu not taking a break since she started working in Avex back in 1998 after that failed "NOTHING FROM NOTHING" project back in 1995...

She's quite a busy working girl there... And she's going to turn 32 at the time this tour starts...

Picaflor 7/4 1st July 2010 03:13 AM

I'd love to go. i'm assuming that this being her 50th single, it should be am amazing and rare concert. I can only imagine what the tracklist will be. i pray for kanariya.

Kagome-chan 1st July 2010 03:29 AM

I already booked hotels/ryokan and flight for CDL in december...so...nothing >_>

adantatu2 1st July 2010 03:32 AM

Lady_Eowyn 1st July 2010 04:04 AM

i see... i was expecting... something different, hahaha. :)

If there's special merchandise, though, im gonna be super happy, SO READY TO SPEND MONEY ON AYU GOODS!!! :luv2 LOL :P

butterfly_ayu 1st July 2010 04:40 AM

omg~ 7 days in a roll *-* will that be too much for her?

Kanzaki 1st July 2010 04:46 AM

That's a great idea! I hope we get the singles before this~

Well, there's going to be a break on the 4th of October, and another one on the 7th and the 8th...

It starts on October 2nd but it does not end until the 11th, which is a national holiday called the Health and Sports Day, specifically in commemoration of the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and I think it's quite a good coincidence that it is held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, which hosted the swimming, diving and basketball events 46 years ago...

Ah then I guess I was mistaken from what I thought I knew.
Ah well.

tokyoxjapanxfan 1st July 2010 05:59 AM

roommate and I just entered.

it's being treated as a normal concert as opposed to CDL, so the tickets have a little bit more freedom.

But it will still be hard to get, I imagine. haha
Though I've lucked out in getting tickets every time I've entered.

My roommate, roommate's friend and I all entered for a-nation tickets. and we all won O_o. We had to sell all the other ones haha. And we all entered for 3 tickets! Was such a hassle haha.

Zeke. 1st July 2010 06:43 AM

I wish I could go to the tour. My friend is going to Japan in August. If I were to go I'd like to go with him but that's after Ku's tour and before Ayu's so that's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal hot. (sarcasm) Lol.

tokyoxjapanxfan 1st July 2010 07:06 AM

^ what about a-nation??

chocopockymaster 1st July 2010 07:33 AM

Woohoo, all entered for the ticket lottery~ Entered for the first 4 dates. :3

Like tjf, I lucked out on getting all the a-nation tickets I balloted for as well. Let's hope our lucky streaks keep going!

I would rather see a 'SHOW' than a 'FESTIVAL' I guess. That would be one way to see both Kuu and Ayu and even some of my other favorites but I think I'd rather get sucked into one of the girls worlds, rather than just random performances.

EDIT: I just looked at the dates and the artists performing and got really excited! But none-the-less I know I really should not go. I'm supposed to be saving money for school next year and my Mom wouldn't like me living home when I'm supposed to be saving and one minute flying off to Japan to blow a bunch of it. Lol. But damn it would be FUN!

Midori-chan 1st July 2010 09:46 AM

It is like the 30th single! I hope, the tour will be as awesome as "A Museum"!!

Good luck to Ayu! She will be even MORE busy now!
Stay strong, Ayu-chan!!

And I hear my wallet weeping...! ^.^''

Zeke. 1st July 2010 10:12 AM

Why is "Anniversary" tacked onto the end? It's not an "anniversary" really, is it? It seems Ayu's been really using that term a lot.

a_kingdom21 1st July 2010 10:42 AM

i hope it wont as dull as a museum....

!Lawi! 1st July 2010 10:53 AM

^That's a matter of point of view. A museum was a GREAT tour imo, her voice was just perfect !

My friend (gigi) will also apply... in case I won them and a can't go at the end, I'll sell them here and to japanese friends in twitter if they don't have... But as I'm planning and I want to go desparetely, I couldn't ignore the lottery XDDD

actually , i think this performance will be just base on AT10 because it is """""""""" Rock'n'Roll Circus """""" Tour ~50th single anniversary~
so i think same setlist and same costumes will be used... but add some new singles in the setlist

Hm, don't know how I feel about it, cause why is Rock'n'Roll Circus in the title?
Seems that it could be just an alternate version of the R'n'RC tour.
Hope it isn't rushed just because they want to have the 50th single this year. :/

That doesn't even make sense. It is not the anniversary of her 50th single. It's just the release of her 50th single.

Anniversary: An anniversary (from the Latin anniversarius, from the words for year and to turn, meaning (re)turning yearly; known in English since c. 1230) is a day that commemorates and/or celebrates a past event that occurred on the same day of the year as the initial event.

It seems Ayu's just been coasting by on this term for quite some time already.

~50th Single Extravaganza~ would have been much better!

Picaflor 7/4 1st July 2010 10:03 PM

it'd be cooler if it was called 50th single-palooza. all i can say is that it better be better than a museum which celebrated her 30th single fsr. i really dislike that concert.

What do you mean? I haven't seen her use it since her actual anniversary. And also, based on the definition you just gave, she could be referring to her birthday (which explains the first date). In some languages "happy birthday" is translated "happy anniversary."

AyumiAi 1st July 2010 10:42 PM

Im looking into going to this!
It would be my first time in Japan and honestly it would mean my life would be complete
i'd go with my mom XP and i'd have to miss 3 days of school, and i'd have to sell my manga collection T_T but i'd be worth it! <3

Jorge, blame Ayu, she is older enough and has enough control over her life and career to decide if it's good to do 7 shows in 10 days or not. I think it's not really fair to talk as if people going are not thinking about her health or sth, don't you think?? =) She did worst things in the past...

argh.. reading all of your comments makes me wanna go to these 7 days concert too :dead2

i don't know if i can manage to save some money until then..
May ( I've been to Ayu R'nRC Tour and kuu's UNIVERSE Tour)
and in 2 days i'll be watching kuu's Dream Music Park
and in October, ayu's 50th anniv single???
It seems like i have to find 2nd part-time job here.. :scry

I don't blame Ayu (...) you know how much i respect her but she never has done anything like 7 concerts in only 10 days, if it's her own decision to make it on this way then it's ok, i respect her... i know she loves to perform live, to give concerts to her fans but that's too much for only one person, it's only my opinion because i just wish all the best for her, no more... i really hope everything will go ok and these concerts will be a big sucess!

njanjayrp 2nd July 2010 07:22 AM

I wonder why they simply didn't have 2 days at Tokyo Dome...I don't really think AVEX decides much when it comes to her concerts, it might be that Ayu simply wanted to give everyone from TA the chance to come, but wanted the people who aren't from TA to have a chance to see it as well.

kagami 2nd July 2010 07:25 AM

I don't think Ayu likes performing in Domes much.
Didn't she say she would never do it again?

Can't really blame her though, she doesn't have the best experiences in them.

Misa-chan 2nd July 2010 07:38 AM

Domes may be more impressive, but I'm sure the tickets will cost more too. I think more people will prefer a concert that costs only 8,500yen in a smaller venue than the same one which costs, what, 5,000yen more expensive in a big grand venue? Besides, the arena is definitely more intimate than the dome, even can see her quite well even when you sit at the back.

True! It's not like she's never performed in a dome before. And isn't Kumi performing at the dome this year, too? It's her actual anniversary after all, let her have it.

It's not as if she needs it for the whole year.

I guess what Misa said is the truth, yet it would be easier for Ayu to perform twice instead of 7 times in a row...

SURREAL__RAINBOW 2nd July 2010 08:09 AM

I'm reaally scared for her voice :/ after watching those fan videos from AT10... this girl needs to take it slowly!! she's not 20/25 anymore to put sooo much on top of her...

anyway, good luck!! I give her my strength :)

I know, but out of the two anniversaries, if anyone should be doing dome shows, it should be Kumi. I don't think Ayu should just because it's her 50th single. 7 shows in an arena sounds more appropriate of a celebration. :yes

As worried as I am too about her voice, if she didn't think she could do it, she wouldn't. I trust Ayu knows her limits.

I don't really see what's the problem with two people celebrating stuff in Dome. Many people throughout the year hold concerts there, Kumi surely isn't the only one this year. So that's not even a valid argument for Ayu not to perform there.

I don't think jbrat was saying that ayu shouldn't perform there because Kuu is. It was just a comparison, not a competition.

Anyway, I can totally understand why ayu chose arena instead of dome/stadium. She likes to be able to see everyone, to connect with every single fan in the venue. That's probably alot easier to do in an arena as compared to a dome. Who knows, maybe the only time she did it (2001), made her not want to do it again? She has her own valid reasons, I'm sure.

Hong Kong singers usually do all their concerts without a single day of rest. Eason Chan did a string of 18 concerts this year, Sammi Cheng did a string of 10 concerts. Hong Kong singers also sing more songs in their concerts and three hours is usually how long Hong Kong concerts go for.

kagami 2nd July 2010 01:04 PM

Yeah, but by the time this comes around she would have already be performing for basically half the year. It's qiute a lot, not to mention she'll have CDL not long after that.

She's a busy girl but I'm sure she knows what she is doing. ( hopefully she gets enough rest in the short periods she's not on stage).

I am sorry, but that kinda made me feel s/he did imply that because Kumi is having a concert there Ayu shouldn't. Not trying to start a fight here, I thought that it was just silly to say something like that, as there were as you stated better reasons for her not to perform in a Dome :)

It's alright. Btw you're a he or a she? :tired

I wonder how much will the set list change and what will end up on a DVD~

jbrat2219 2nd July 2010 06:59 PM

I hope they just put the anniversary concert on the DVD. As far as the setlist, (I've been staying away from the RnRC tour thread and refuse to look until I get the DVD) I'm not too sure what it is now but since it is still RnRC related I would think all the album tracks and then the single project tracks. At least that's what I hope. It would be a nice change to see her perform only new songs at a concert. No staples or anything like that.

^ tbh I wanna see all the perfs from the original set list xD so they might wanna consider two DVD releases or including another dvd as a bonus.

aura~ 2nd July 2010 07:13 PM

I also hope they will keep the RnRC tracks and also the old tracks she used this year (Because of You, Memorial Address, Alterna, INSPIRE, Rainy Day...) And add single (mainly from 2003 onwards) epic tracks for the 50th single thing?? Because if not.. They will have to do 2 DVD's.. or maybe do 2 in 1??

I don't know.. XD Will she do like A MUSEUM that had a longer tracklist than the usual??

Whatever she does I think it will be epic.. XD

If they do, I hope it's not too expensive. I can see A BEST 2 (CD+DVD) b.s. happening all over again! She'll have a new album and then the versions will go as such:

1) TITLE (CD+2DVD video clips + ARENA TOUR 2010 ~Rock'n'Roll Circus~)
2) TITLE (CD+2DVD video clips + ~Rock'n'Roll Circus Tour ~50th single anniversary~)
3) TITLE (CD+DVD Tour Documentary)
4) TITLE (CD-only)

I can hear my wallet screaming already....

If they're kind enough, I pray BOTH concerts will be on ONE DVD boxset with documentaries included....

It's all good, I was just wondering where you got the abundance of "anniversary" from lol.

I think just AT08 and CDL Anniversary plus the string of "Premium" and "BEST-OF" like shows just all seemed like it was part of the anniversary thing. I could have sworn that that she had at least three shows that included anniversary in the title. Lol.

Those were all on her actual anniversary which wasn't too long ago so I can see how it feels like she's using the title a lot. But outside of that year, I don't recall anything in particular. Maybe because a lot of the anniversary stuff was released later in 2009? I dunno.

EXACTLY!, but Iīm afraid that will not happen, so maybe goodbye to alterna, BoY or about you performances :no

Maybe thatīs why she wanna keep "the rockīnīroll circus" in the title, because perhaps will be a mix tour, still promoting album tracks mixing with old single songs (audience, unite!, fly high, boys and girls NOOOO! xD) plus the new ones... strange xD...

So again... goodbye to this excelent setlist tour :(

Andrenekoi 2nd July 2010 09:08 PM

It's Ayu... she will release as much dvds as she can to milk her fans to death xD

About the Dome thing... I'm not sure if she still can sell out Tokyo Dome, or maybe she just enjoy Arenas (on the same way Namie is performing on halls when she could easily sell out Arenas)

SweetAquarian102 2nd July 2010 09:17 PM

Wow...that will be alot of work for Ayu-sama...Looking forward to it! Great news!!:D

fuawas 2nd July 2010 09:46 PM

When I first saw the news I thought she'd perfom at the Dome :S
I think it's great she performs in Arenas, but I miss huge concerts like Dome and Stadium Tours ^^

Tokyo Dome has around 50 000 seats, she'll have no problems selling out two dates in a Dome, considering TA has around 70k members and that her album sales are still pretty damn good, especially when even DBSK had a dome concert when they were still selling less albums and singles than Ayu.

Well, she was not selling out all her arena dates last year if I'm not wrong (she sold some like, 90, 95%)

Yeah, but then again there were too many dates I guess. I am sure more than 100k people would like to see her perform in a Dome ^_^

Raiu-Ayu 3rd July 2010 08:39 AM

I think ayu doesn't perform in domes because it brings back bad memories from the Dome Tour in 2001 when she first discovered her hearing problem.

Yeah, maybe now I support that, because of the larger space the music would have to be louder in the dome, which can be scary...

I don't know about this, but especially now that she have lost hearing in one ear (her left ear) since back in 2008 it might be safe to say that Ayu is too scared to perform at the Tokyo Dome anymore...

Venues in the size of roughly basketball arenas, I think (such as Yoyogi National Gymnasium, her flagship venue, and at her hometown in Fukuoka the Marine Messe, not to forget Makuhari Messe for Music Station Super Live near Christmas) should be (or are more) suited for Ayu; the Tokyo Dome is too much for her and is more suited for like Johnny's artists, for example.

And assembly time for a Dome concert takes more time than ones in Yoyogi, I estimate.

Also don't forget about the Yomiuri Giants baseball season, too.

What would happen if she would try to perform a concert at Nippon Budokan? Too small? Does not fit Ayu's concert style of today also?

looks like the 50th single thing will be a continuation of the AT 10 with a few tweaks then.

Yay, now it makes things more clear, it'll most likely be the same setlist but with some stuff added :D

Ayumiko 3rd July 2010 10:08 AM

a little disappointing...its pretty much just additional tour dates...hopefully she'll just add the new songs on to the setlist and not take away some to replace.

crea_spain 3rd July 2010 10:38 AM

I guess just will be last 7 days of RnRC tour adding some new songs 48th and 49th single (?) it was impossible that 50th single could be released before October 2nd, i think they'll release 49th single in September and 50th in November, so maybe in December they could have another mini-tour to celebrate the 50th single joining to CDL (?)

Ohh! Well that's alright... doesn't make any different I guess.

I think they will obviously add the new singles and kick out a few songs out of the original setlist. Hopefully add some of her older singles too :)

And also, I think we will get one DVD yay!! xD Like a very special edition with 4 DVDs or something *o*

fuawas 3rd July 2010 11:06 AM

Oh so they changed the name? It seems like it's the same, but with a different name, because the other tour name also included Rock'n'Roll Circus and it was quite clear that the setlist wouldn't change a lot.
I'm sure she'll do an special CDL or a mini-tour after releasing the 50th single.

crea_spain 3rd July 2010 11:13 AM

^ I'd like see something reli special like a 50th Single ~A~ History Live Tour (???) ~Dec18 & 19 (Saitama) Dec 25 & 26 (Osaka) + CDL Dec 30 & 31 (Yoyogi)~ (???) maybe after joining to Asia Tour... everybody would be HAPPY♡

Actually, I think that's a good idea haha it'd be something like A MUSEUM (just the idea), a mini-tour commemorating her 50 singles.
But I still think she'll do a special concert in the Dome xD Or at least I'd love to watch one apart from the Dome Tour hahaha
Anyway, I'm so happy she's doing this special concerts ^^ More live DVDs to watch lol

crea_spain 3rd July 2010 11:34 AM

^ yeah would be GREAT to see next CDL at Tokyo Dome :) can't wait!!!!!

Aderianu 3rd July 2010 11:39 AM

It seems that this is just additional tour dates

maybe we'll see COUNTDOWN LIVE 2010-2011~50th single anniversary~
I don't mind if this concert will be with only last 20 singles... all singles after A Museum
