Has there been any actual news on this at all since the original tweets were made? I'm far too lazy to read the whole thread and the first post doesn't mention any other news.

^ Yes, but I can't remember of the specific times they were made. I know Max said something about working on them, and Ayu made a comment about it as well. I think it was a month ago?

There was a tweet from a Japanese fan a few days ago, asking for an update. The thing is, I think he/she mixed up and asked about ayu-mi-x instead. And max's reply was "if you want it, we'll make it". And ayu basically replied something along the lines of "I want".

I wonder if that will work for everything. Max, can you start releasing singles with 10 remixes and no less, like the pre-rainbow singles? "Max: if you want, we'll do it. Ayu: Yay!"

Personally, I feel like we got lucky with AT4. Since they said they were considering ayu-mi-x as well, they probably decided to go ahead and do it.

maybe they just forgot about this remix album, i mean, with the studio album thing, the cdl, the wedding, the honey moon, the extended trip, the arena tour, the cm ayu will shot, well, that's a lot of stuff, maybe they just forgot about those tweets a long time ago...

I don't think they forgot. It just takes time to put these things together, plus a schedule a reasonable release date. Ayu's original works will take priority.

We don't have any control. We can ask until we're blue in the damn face, and nothing can come of it. It requires the cooperation/decision of Max and Ayu -- and since they agreed, well, what does that say? That they want to do it. Otherwise they'd have ignored us. So... the control is and has always been theirs. :shrug And it's not like people are DEMANDING things with threats of blackmail or physical harm. Requests are just that -- requests. And they can be ignored. It's not a big deal.

you cant just request for a release and in the end, ppl just download and not buying... sorry for being a spoilsport... but it really makes me wonder that within those who requested for a remix, how many % were actually going to get the real product.

Yes I think it's very important the people who requested this must surely BUY IT! I have never purchased a remix album but I will for this release as it is for the fans after all!

I haven't bought an Ayu CD in like 10 years. But I'm so happy that they're making a new Ayu Trance, I'm actually going to buy a copy when it comes out. :P And the more expensive Japanese version at that, so that it counts in Japan as a sale! :D

You were..., absolutely! I hope she goes with some of the less obvious choices like that, and doesn't just choose single tracks. Please don't make this A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES REMIXED~. I want You were..., Kiss 'o' kill, Marionette, Identity, countdown, etc.

Well I'll buy it anyway, because I can't not buy a CD she releases. I skip the DVD's sometimes because they're madly expensive, but I always get her CD's.

Oh except for Ayu-mi-x 6 because I just hated those remixes. But I bet they'll be better this time! Especially if it's really ayu-trance.

It has definitely gotten out of hand. I introduced the idea to request an ayu trance 4 because I noticed some people around the forum also desired this release.

Since it worked, now every time everyone wants something, they think the answer is just to go tweet max about it, and I absolutely disagree.

I mean, yeah, our cause got lucky and it worked, but doing it every single time you want something is just annoying :/

For something like ayu trance 4, in the case where max and ayu probably had no idea there was an interest in this, it makes sense.

Do you see anyone asking them on twitter? Even if they were, it would be no more out of hand than people desperately tweeting just about anything trying to get ayu's attention, or worse yet, all the people asking mannie how ayu is doing. talk about disrespect.

I think Ayu and Max have definitely taken this kind of thought into consideration before they decided to create twitter accounts for themselves. Don't you think so?

i hope that the majority of ayu trance is songs that haven't been remixed before. like one of the tracks could be a dark, heavy, ambient, dub of guilty or something. I could definitely see guilty in the style of the hanabi lange remix.

I want half and half I guess. Half single tracks and half album tracks.

for a remix album, I don't think rushed necessarily means bad.

Depends on the talent of the DJs I suppose.
