Yeah, so apparently Avex has to take that under consideration before Ayu jumps officially into the Facebook bandwagon.

Did they do that before making the official Koda Kumi page on Facebook?

And plus, I'm sure they already know that there will be translated entries for TA around with the amount of love Ayu has been given over the last year from international fans. Plus, they even leak her album early to AyuChina..I don't think they'll bother with a little TA translating :laugh It'd be a little petty.

I think it might be interesting to see an Ayu facebook. It'd be nice to have all of her photos in one place as opposed to having to re-find links or dig through plixi... she takes the best pictures and it's one of the main reasons I decided to follow her on twitter, cause god knows I can't read her tweets and Google translate's useless...

But FB also lets you post more than just 160 character blurbs, so she could maybe post longer updates or thoughts...hopefully some in English :3... I know that's all kind of what TA is for, but come on, why does Japan have to get all the love? -_-

I don't know if FB is so popular in Japan as in other countries. Maybe they use mixi D: as Bigtop stated.

mixi is nowhere near as widespread as FB though. isn't FB the most visited website now?

i think i have a mixi actually, but never actually set it up. i think they closed it to foreigners somehow lately though.

Yeah, mixi is sort of like Japan's FB, but because it's closed to foreigners, most of the people on there are Japanese. Some of my Japanese friends have FB, but only because they have foreign friends they want to connect with. If not, mixi is probably more than enough for them. That's why I'm excited about ayu setting up a FB page, because it means that she wants to connect more with us overseas fans. ^^

I mean she has twitter where she can reach out to us personally but on facebook if she makes a comment, there will be MILLIONS of fan comments to follow (maybe even some haters). But if it were there to make official announcements and the occasional comment, I could see it happening. I don't know, I guess it doesn't hurt to see it play out.

It's not crap.

The first person who posted will have his/her name and comment coming at the end of the message, so in this case it's aura. The replier (ayu) and her comment will come at the front of the message. Sometimes, people can have longer conversations and so you will see a longer more complicated message.

For example, the top message in aura's post will read like:

ayu_19880408: Do you guys want me to write English for TA too? I can wr...
my_aura: Would you do that??!! I'd LOBE it!!! OMG *O*
ayu_19880408: Yea i would;)

ayu using ReTweet to reply fans so that the whole fans who follow her can know what she has been replying to the fans i think.

I don't think she's doing in a wrong way though haha~ well common people like us using such way, replying by using ReTweet is wrong, but for artists i think fans are happy to see what artists have been replying to fans, it's just me though haha~~

I think her retweeting behaviour is nice really, because it lets casual readers like all of us see what she and the fan are talking about. If she just replied tweet like the rest of us, all we'll see are one-sided convos which we'll not be able to make head/tail of. :P

Lol yeah Twitter has an interface that needs getting used to, but oh well, just practice reading some ayu tweets and you'll get the hang of it soon. ;)

Meaning to put the TA entry behind spoilers? Which is true. If people go around posting Ayu's english TA entries, they'll be very easy to search for! I don't know if Avex or Ayu would every actively seek out people sharing her TA or not, but I think its better to be safe about those things.

It's illegal to share anything from TA out to the public. As in, the website explicitly states that it's against the law because of copyright issues. This includes TA diary, information, updates, and whatever else is there on the site. So we're all technically breaking the rules here. :P
