I absolutely love the covers, and the tracklist makes me so excited. It looks awesome. And the one part that makes me happier than anything? They're using more than just A-BEAT-C, Delta, and Time (EUROGROOVES) on the Ayu-ro Mix. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Plus i'm somewhat relieved to know that the CDs in the box set still come with jewel cases.

I like the covers they're cool looking, but they're really different from previous ayu-mix covers.


I just noticed that BLUE BIRD is on the AO album, I think I just pissed myself from excitement.

You know, it's pretty funny how it took so long for them to announce this because many of us were SO sure (including me) that they would only do ayu trance 4. Avex/Ayu grew so quiet on the subject and behold, they give us this amazing release. God bless the Queen!

We Ayu fans are full of ourselves aren't we.. lol

It's pretty monumental to be honest. How often do artists fulfill the requests of fans out of the blue? Not only what the majority of us asked for but everyone's request. We have 4 albums that may not have existed (at least at this time) otherwise. I know there may be some complaints here or there because, let's be honest, Ayu fans are hard to please. But never the less, we did this. We came together and we got **** done. Same with January 2010, we got together and made a fan book for her and got her attention officially for the first time. We've come so far and I fear that fans will forget where we came from. NEVER FORGET not but 2 years ago we didn't have this connection to Ayu.

I swear, Ayu is like the only female solo artist to get so close to her fans! There are even a ton of in jokes with overseas fans, haha~

She's so incredibly sweet and considerate. She's more beautiful on the inside than out, and she's absolutely stunning on the outside ;D

The TA/mu-mo gifts have yet to be announced, so there's always a possibility. ^^

something i'm curious about...the boxset comes with FIVE cds...the standard four are obviously inside the box, but what about the fifth? i think its shown sitting along with the box in those pics we have, so does it not fit in the box? is it a totally free standing cd?

I know right.. it's seriously amazing. I remember a couple years ago making a post in some poll here about ayu trance saying that I doubt we'll ever get another trance album since they haven't released one in so long, and being really sad about it because they're my favorite remixes from her. I never would have imagined actually getting a new one some years later all because of requests by fans. it's so awesome that we're listened to. and not only that, they made what looks like an awesome box set package for the collectors who love her remix albums.

^^ It might fit on top of the four cds once all are put into place.. thye might of taken it out so we could see what it looked like with all four inside..?

Covers are nice, I like them! Something's very trippy and 60's about them, including her haircut. I approve.

Pre-ordered the boxset, on strict orders from my boyfriend. He's not a huge Ayu fan, but loves her remixes. As do I.

i was wondering how much these remix albuns will sell... ayu-mi-x 6 sold each one 42~45k, i guess these will sell 20k each one... and the limited box set maybe will reach 15k, counting together i guess they will reach 70~80k. well, i'm not being optimistc because of nowadays albuns sales, a lot of artists aren't reaching 50k with a studio album so i dont think a remix album can easily reach 30k copies...

I think the boxset is maybe the most awesome ayuproduct to own in the past couple of years. 4 CDs with the most diverse tracks (from trance to acoustic!), a beautiful box to put on display; and.. not just 1 poster; but A LOT of posters. How good would they look on the wall ^_^. I think it's just great =)

i don't like the covers, they are too generic, every album of hers recently consists of just head shots. she needs more concepts, be more experimental and be inspired!

i think it was made on purpose, the hair has the same "selecting fail" on the Ayu-ro-mix 4 cover.

Only now do I realize that I dreamt this: ALL of the trance album had leaked and I couldn't resist dl'ing it. In some way, I'm relieved it was just a dream, but now I'm as impatient as before.

The box does look really nice, but I am not buying it. I don't like remixes, so not tempted at all.
I'm finally able to save money on an ayu release, that's more money for me to spend on my japan trip in May!

The thing is... where will they be then? I doubt they'll be loosely packaged outside of the box in the plastic. We'll see when it comes out, I guess~

well, remember where they put the photo book in the Love Songs huge package? I think this package is similar and they'll put all of the posters in a similar sleeve thing.

I think there's a clear vinyl slipcase on the inside of the big cover for the posters to slide into.
You can see a shiny square-like shape on the picture that shows everything that comes with the box set

as for the bonus disk... maybe one of the wells for the normal CDs is deeper, and the bonus CD sits on top/under? haha...

I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud but I HONESTLY think that they were planning on doing a remix album (not albums) for her 50th anniversary but we just pushed the idea of a trance and ayu-ro release. I could be wrong but it's very hard for me to believe that just because a few dozen fans posted on her Twitter that they want more remix albums would prompt Avex to release 4 new remix albums...

Though either way we did contribute to the release of some of the remix albums but I don't think we provoked all of them

Everyone is saying this but I believe it was because of AHS. I mean, seriously, they were probably wondering how they could rake in cash off the 50 singles and this idea just fit the bill. Regardless, I do not believe anything would be the same had we not provoked them.

Well they might have thought "Hey, we can market this thing really well if we decide to go the way of promoting all 50 singles. Might as well remix them all and span them across all remix album genres, that way we can bundle them together in a limited box-set ala Love Songs and make more money than we ever would off of just one trance album."

It was 100% us! I'm not sure if you were around when it all went down but after our requests MAX and Ayu pretty much said, "Let's do it!" Sure they may have tied in the 50th single thing because when we were asking, she JUST had her 50th single. So it makes sense to put two and two together. I know we may never have a definitive answer but under the circumstances it's clear that it was our requests that lead to this release. I don't know why everyone keeps doubting that :shrug

Plus Ayu even asked MAX how they should go about it and he said to send the acapella vocals to the DJs. If they had all this planned out before, why would she ask that?

i'm sure the posters will be inside the packaging and not separate.
i'm sure there is space in the sleeve behind the CDs, or something similar to that :)

I don't know how i feel about the fans causing something?? I think they may of had it planned, but didn't know about doing it??
Of course, if the fan response wasn't there she and avex may not of done it, so we can pat ourselves on the back for that.
So you could say that we caused it, it could be on of those symbolic relationships.. they work together.. lol?

Perhaps they were already considering making new remix albums, but could have included more versions because of fan requests. We could have ended up like last time with two discs and nothing else. *shrug* I'm just glad to have new remixes...I'm hoping I'll like the trance and eurobeat even though those aren't really my kind of styles. House all the way!

EDIT: And about the "12 people who Tweeted Max", uhmmm I think that still, if they made those albums for those people, her TeamAyu was going to be buying them anyway? They always have the support from her fans, so making those albums is not a loss for AVEX, it is ayu who we are talking about.

Is not like the albums are not going to sell well and only 12 Twitter people are going to buy them. They haven't done ayu-mi-x for already a couple of years not to even mention the other trance and acoustic ones. If they made this same request of having new remix albums a year after they released one or two, I bet Max would have ignored the messages.

Yeah. I think at least some of this was already sort of thought of on the company's part. I highly doubt a few tweets about another remix album created the box set. They probably thought. "Hm...This is ayu's 50th single, we should celebrate it some how." I"m sure the idea of another remix album was tossed about a bit.

Hell. If we had that much power to make them release something with just a few tweets, let's go dictate her next studio album. or tell them to put 10+ remixes on her next single.

idk about the other remix albums, but I definitely think ayu trance was 100% made because of fan requests and we'd never get another ayu trance if it weren't for those tweets.

I remember a lot of Japanese fans also wanted some ayu-ro mix...

I'm wondering which one of the albums Avex was already planning. I believe it was either they wanted to do something special for the fans for the 50th single so when they saw the tweets they decided to go through with a release, another possibility is Ayu herself already thinking of something along the lines of a remix album and was convinced she wanted to do the project due to fans tweets. Either way, the fans who tweeted did have some impact.

Let's dictate an AYUTRANCE tour, more CREA, and an acoustic orchestra version of RAINBOW! Also, let's dictate album-only track instrumentals to be put ONLINE that way it wouldn't cost them much just to make them available.
