I don't even think is unnecessary and of course people will ask those who buy it to upload it pffft.

My guess is 50%+ of the people complaining about this release being useless, stupid or whatever will either ask for the upload themselves or at least watch and enjoy it. :innocent

Since Ayu seems to be releasing DVDs around the same release date as her music releases, I think it's possible that we could get a 1/1 single.

As of right now, 1/1 only has a Jero single listed.

Well the overseas version will be much more affordable, although probably just the DVD will get an overseas release.

All of her clips in blu-ray quality is pretty cool... whether they will look any better is the question though. I think she's filmed the last few album PVs in HD but never released them in that quality (much like her concerts).

For this release I think it's more worth it if you're buying the blu-ray version.

Considering Ayu's history of releases, I doubt that. If she'd actually done dance versions in the past like idols do, maybe, but... I don't see it.

Perhaps we'd get that unused footage from CAROLS (but actually in the PV) or an alternate glitter using whatever footage they filmed on that mirror set? Whatever they end up being, I hope they are clips that truly have never been seen before by fans.

Yes, Avex has been doing similar things for quite some time, but I think this is REALLY over stepping it, I mean 300 $ for a Blu-ray... COME ON.

I don't own the "Complete Clip Box", so I would love to buy this Box, but it's really expensive.

I'll wait and see what else they add to the DVDs (because it says "More contents planned") and then I'll think about buying it or not!

Actually, this isn't really that expensive, four of Ayu's concert blu-ray's would be more expensive.

Why would they turn 4:3 into 16:9???? Of course the original ratio will be kept, as for the original audio being surround? Hmmm yeah, they'll just put LPCM and voilá there you have it 300$ to spend on something that at least will have the image remastered. HOPEFULLY!!!

I'm happy that they gonna release a compilation but I was expecting something like A BEST 3. All pvs are terrific but the price is simply too high!! Looking forward to the covers though. =)

neitehr own the PVs before MY STORY nore the ones after GUILTY. So it isn't that expensive if I don't have to buy her album DVDs and the old box. still to much for me atm!

I'm pretty sure there going to restore it, just like how George Lucas was able to restore the old Star Wars films in the Recent 2000's the quality is pretty amazing and HD. I didn't even feel like I was watching an old release, and since Ayu's videos aren't nowhere near as old, it'll probably be fairly easy

Even if they were, the film would be developed and then transferred to video for editing because it's easier to work with.

If Avex wanted to make HD versions of any older music videos that were shot on film they'd have to find the original film elements, re-transfer them to a new HD format, and re-construct the whole video.

So, yeah, I think it's most likely that the older videos will just be upscaled and filtered - which will actually *reduce* picture detail. :P

Funny that everyone says avex is milking Ayu fans, but they all seem to be buying this release. I would buy it if I could afford it since I don't have all of her PVs and would love to have them in BR quality. :)

I believe a lot of people said the same thing about A 50 SINGLES and look at how it's sold a TON compared to AT10? I think the Japanese just really like ~value~ compilations. Not that this one is a super good value, but it's a very "all in one" collection. I don't think there's anything missing besides the remix videos.

This is the one re-release I have been waiting on for a VERY long time. I'm very tempted to go for it despite the expense, especially since I think those Japanese Blu-rays work in American players. (They do, right?!)

Someone stated that it's important because of the bluray and that Ayu is still on the market, but i'm am talking from the purchaser perspective. If she had no money,nobody bought her albums, and nobody went to her concerts i would understand, but this has been released and almost every cd and album of hers. In my opinion this is just to suck money to buyers. And i know that she has direct power to decide wht's released and what's not, so i'm really...disappointed :wtf

I think that they hit 100 PVs with FIVE, which is why they're releasing this kind of like how once they hit 50 singles, they released A 50 SINGLES. It's a nice round number to leave off on, but to be honest, this set would be way more expensive if they waited to release it. At least at this point they can cut it off from 2011 to whenever they will release the next one.

If you don't want to buy this and think it's expensive, then don't buy it. No one is forcing you to even THINK of buying it. I mean I doubt many people here actually purchased A 50 SINGLES (a waste, money milking, stupid, etc. were among the many negative things people had to say about it) but that was her highest selling DVD of recent memory.

I think the fact that people buy her albums, go to her concerts, and so on are the reason why they released this. They KNOW people will buy this because it's been in demand for a while and just look at how it's sold out of the Blu-ray Limited Edition already.

I do not think that the Duty "PV" will be included, but it's a possibility. It's possible that the pachinko company owns that footage and Ayu/avex doesn't really own it or care for it.

To break it down, you will get every PV and TV-CM she's released (minus remix ones understandably) in this set in Blu-ray format for 24,150yen. (I will use the suggested retail price since that is what we have for this set.)

You're getting the same (video) content as the releases you would have purchased for about half with some more bonuses that you normally would not be able to find in other releases -and- they're Blu-ray discs.

IMO, something like this is inevitable when you're a fan of an artist that lasts for a really long time. The way I think of it is that it's like a really long term version of how singles culminate with albums. Fans buy the singles and just about all of the material on the singles is also on the album that's released a year or two later, but with this it's 13 years in the making.

Hmm...that makes good value sense - this might be worth it for Ayu collectors! (But still the price overall prohibits me from buying it personally...)
