Do they want to overtake Arashi at number #1 of the week? Well, doubt it. Since gap is quite large still. 473,747 copies vs 362,981 copies. Good effort though. |

Marcus Miller on NINKI #6 o.0
For people not knowing him(if you belong to these people you need to get an education in modern music lol): Marcus Miller is an African-American jazz musician and composer, best known for being possibly the most important bassist in music history. He plays many more instruments, but is notable for performing with virtuosity when it comes to the Bass and even having invented some techniques that are all over Pop, Rock, Jazz and Swing now. I didn't realize he had a new album out, but seeing how he DOES it will probably be the best out of that list. |

But I agree with you both. I'm sure the members of AKB48 and their sister groups work very hard, but I can't wrap my head around Japan's complete obsession with them. I tried to get into their music. I bought Kamikyokutachi and I liked it, but I don't listen to it very often, if ever these days. Their music sounds exactly like Berryz Koubou and Morning Musume to me, and almost all of their singles sound the same to me... they all sort of blend together and I can never remember what they sound like after listening to them. I want my favorite artists to slay like them. :weep |
