I think the book may have played a role in her finally ending it for the rest of the world to see. But with the info that is now out by mainstream news that the tabloids already published in July, in Japan atleast, it was over before it began if she never registered and never planned to. Even the argument that she may have tried for US citizenship doesnt hold up, that takes alot of time and Japan only gives 90 days to register. Plus her career would have kept her in Japan more often than not with her touring and CDL. The recording could all be done in LA but not the tour.

I'm not surprised about the divorce...I had a feeling when ayu chose to do her recordings in London for a month instead of US. As to the real reason behind the divorce, I think its a bit of everything. Long distance relationship is hard. Especially if you barely known that person that long before marriage and after that barely seeing each other. It doesnt help that there's somewhat a language barrier. She probably also doesnt like the fact that he released the photobook too...but I dont think its the main reason...it just didnt help.
btw...not bashing Manuel or anything but those photobook pics are embarrassing. They're so tasteless and his facial expressions were not sexy at all. I hope ayu will still continue to work with leslie kee despite of this photobook coz I love all the work he's done with ayu. |

I doubt it. It was a surprise gift to her with 500 copies. Even if she did private photos I don't think she would risk 500 copies being out there, plus it wouldn't have been a surprise. Besides look at the Super books of his female models and Lady Gaga, none of them were like the male model books.

No way Super Manuel played a role in the divorce.
It was shot by one of Ayu's close friends, and if we know one thing for sure, Ayu loves everything that her friends do, even if it's not best for her overall image and performance quality xD Many fans are of the opinion Peco and Princess should go so Ayu can find her backup singers but they're still here. Lots of people want Kazu to disappear altogether but he'll be around to shoot more album covers....lol |

I don't think it had to do with the book either, unless that was the last of many straws. All their tweets back and forth since March, seem in hindsight to be covering problems going back as far as February. All year she was answering fans saying he would come to a concert, they just couldn't decide a date for it. Then when he tweeted and she replied calling him an idiot in japanese it got more obvious. June was the most obvious, her in Bali while he was at multiple birthday parties in LA. But then she continued to wear the rings and tweet him back occasionally so no one gave it a second thought.

If that were really true, I'm sorry, but I would lose a lot of respect for Ayu because that just says to me that she's shallow. But I seriously do not think that is the case at all. I just think it ended because she married him too quickly. She rushed into something...I mean, she barely knew Mannie. She married someone she knew like 1/2 a year. It was kind of the inevitable that she got a divorce.
