Thanks, but it don't works.. again. :(
Yes..I mean Mediafire.. not Media-File.. no idea, why I wrote it.
Would be so greate, if you could make a link for it.

I started uploading just now, I'll add the link to this message when it's done. I hope you'll enjoy the album as much as I have. :)

Thank you so much... you made me really happy! :)

prussian blue 30th September 2014 07:00 PM

Thank you for the download link.

I was really surprise about this album, judged from the album cover I thought it will be such a huge mess, but it turns out to be surprisingly good. I really like Road of Honesty the most, it has some sort of LAS VEGAS vibes in it (it even sounds like We can go). I'm with your shadow makes me goosebumps a lot, and the last song (I forgot the name), even it sounds almost like a mess, but i do think that it was such a beautiful mess :laugh

Mari-chan 30th September 2014 07:25 PM

I really like the album, her voice is like before, and not like in the last singles, she had. She don't sounds drunken any more.
And she looks normal... I saw new pics from her.. and there is not the too much Make-up any more. Ahhh.. old Chihiro is back... I'm lucky.

Funny, that's exactly what I thought about The Way To Your Heartbeat! ROAD OF HONESTY reminds me of something else, but I can't put my finger on what. Also, 100% agreed about The end of the flame of my eyes: it's definitely no vocal highlight, but the melody and the piano accompaniment... chills everytime.

Glad you liked the album! Her voice really is a lot better than on Itazura Pierrot or something.

ame-na-otoko 1st October 2014 06:11 PM

Yes! Her voice is much better! I am pleased to hear that. I don't know how the album will hold up in the long run but it's seems okay.

Mari-chan 1st October 2014 07:20 PM

My favourite Songs are I'm with your shadow, Mad Man and The end of the flame of my eyes. (^_^)

I really also like "This silcence in mine", but I don't like her voice in it very much... same with Itazura Pierrot. No idea, what happend to her, that she now sings and looks normal again... but it was good.

Mari-chan 27th September 2016 07:09 PM

Oh... I think I really like the song. Can't wait to listen to the full song.

prussian blue 21st October 2016 06:28 PM

preview of the new single.

She sounds like her voice during LAS VEGAS, which quite soft and light. You can hear it quite clearly during Gekkou. Maybe we have already used to her solid voice in the past, which makes me feel there's something missing. I am not trying to complain though, I still love her.

Mari-chan 21st October 2016 07:26 PM

Same for me. And ProxFlow is also not able to open it.

Kacku 22nd October 2016 09:19 PM

The title track and Midori no Hakobune (is that the correct romanisation?) sound absolutely GORGEOUS. :love I'm really surprised about good bye my love: I feel like in the hands of a lesser artist, it would be a run-of-the-mill midtempo love song, but Chihiro's voice and performance elevate it to another level. I hope the full version lives up to the preview's promise. I can't wait for this single to be released! And I hope that since she's back under a major label, we'll get new releases a bit more frequently, it's been too long since TRICKY SISTERS MAGIC BURGER.

Kacku 27th October 2016 06:25 PM

Natsu no Tsumi PV (short version?):

Sounds beautiful, I'm more excited about this song now that we got to hear more than the chorus. :heart

Thank you so much.
I'm glad, her voice is good again. For some time, her voice wasn't good anymore.. but now, it is as good as before.
And yes... Natsu no tsumi is really better. Can't wait to listen to the full song.

Kacku 3rd November 2016 07:55 PM

The single is out, and it's really solid! good bye my love is kind of generic and definitely like a minute too long, but I still really like it; Natsu no Tsumi is good, though not the most memorable to me; Midori no Hakobune is AMAZING though, the melody is heavenly, the arrangement is perfectly stripped down, and Chihiro sounds great. The live version of Gekkou... is ok, but not something I'm eager to hear more.

Mari-chan 3rd November 2016 10:13 PM

Really... where can I listen to the songs?

prussian blue 4th November 2016 04:24 AM

The single is really solid.

I LOVE ao no hakobune! It is something typical Chihiro-ish ballade with amazing melody. I really enjoy the arrangement too, I wish it will just stay what it is. Natsu no Tsumi is also a wondrous work from her, the whole tune just fit her voice so well, I wonder why she has to give the song to Hanaoka Natsumi. Goodbye my love, however, is kinda boring song compared to the other songs though, it's just an ordinary song, and surprisingly long too, which I found not really necessary, but overall the single is superb.

I'm so excited for this :heart TAKE MY MONEY

Kacku 20th December 2016 10:40 AM

Covers and promo pic are up on her website]! I wish we had previews already too, I'm dying to hear them.

Yoake 20th December 2016 12:26 PM

It's a pity that the promo pic isn't one of the covers. That's a wonderful photo ♥

The texts on the covers mean :

" Good-bye my love
In the future I wouldn't forget (*) my beloved. Good-bye my love
Love, my love, my love
I'll invite Love once again"

" I become your wings after eternal nights and I'm pushing you forward. Because I don't need any other reasons of being"

*I think there is a mistake here. It should be the future tense and not the conditional tense (je n'oublierai pas instead of je n'oublierais pas). However as my knowledge in Japanese is very weak I can be wrong. Maybe this sentence express a doubt. She isn't sure ? And that's why they used the conditional in French?

Kacku 20th December 2016 06:07 PM

^ Agreed, the promo pic might be the best of the bunch. And thanks so much for translating! I don't know French so this was very helpful, haha. But basically, it's some lines from good bye my love translated into French?

Yoake 20th December 2016 06:37 PM

You're welcome. Yes, the first text is lines of the chorus, the second text, I don't know.

Toniayu123 24th December 2016 06:08 PM

The covers are really beautiful. I'm really excited for the album but I'm not getting my hopes up it'll be better than Tricky sisters MB, that is probably one of my favorites albums ever.

Kacku 24th December 2016 11:26 PM

^ I really don't know what to expect from this album. Like, the main promotional track, good bye my love, kinda makes me think it's gonna be something safe and overproduced, but the other songs on the single hint at something a little rawer. And I don't know if I should let them affect my expectations at all: I still remember when TRICKY SISTERS MAGIC BURGER came out and shocked me with how great it was (I agree with you, it's so good) and made me feel like a fool for expecting something uncomfortable and messy (based on Itazura Pierrot and Anata to SciencE; clearly I was letting the wrong tracks dictate my expectations). This is why I want the previews already, haha. I'd really like to pre-order the version with the live CD (it sounds really promising!) but am not sure if I should.

NintendoHTF1242 26th December 2016 07:32 PM

I might go ahead and cop the 2CD for myself. Not a fan of the text though.

koumori 27th December 2016 12:35 AM

Wow, I never expected to see her release any time soon. Those covers are just gorgeous.

XFER 27th December 2016 11:58 PM

I can't wait. For some reason I am expecting a wonderful album. Maybe the artwork is influencing me lol

prussian blue 23rd January 2017 04:16 PM

I'm not amazed with the album track, and what disappoint me the most is her voice, she sounds harsh in a few track, especially in goodbye my love acoustic version :no I'm still buying the CD though, but I just didn't get the WOW-ness from the preview, although I kinda like the melody of ULTIMATE FICTION and 悲しみの気球

Mari-chan 23rd January 2017 05:42 PM

I really like the previews. Can't wait for the full songs.
Especialy 悲しみの気球.

Yoake 23rd January 2017 09:01 PM

悲しみの気球 seems to be the best new song. Overall this album sounds good. I'm waiting the full tracks.

prussian blue 5th February 2017 04:43 PM

Not sure if you all have get the CD or downloaded the album somewhere, but this album surprise me in quite a positive way. Here is my review for the album:

First, I'm not a big fan of Goodbye my love from the beginning, really don't understand the purpose to use the song as the lead single, let alone the additional acoustic version. BUT, the other track is amazing. I love the string quartet intro for Sensoukyoku; Ao no hakobune is fun and easy, just like Hi No Tori ; totally shocked with SWEET HI-5, didn't expect the song is quite mellow and so melodious; ULTIMATE FICTION surprised me as well, since I didn't expect the verse part is in major key, the whole chorus is minor key, I really like the chorus part though; Kanashimi no Kikyuu is such amazing song, even though I thought it's quite cheesy to use a hot air balloon as the title for such emotional song, but I love the melody, the lyrics and the whole arrangement. It becomes the jam in my iTunes right now; Chandelier is a good song, but I think the song is a bit overshadowed by the previous song, and also because they share the same chord in the chorus part, which when they played continuously they kinda sound like the same song, but of course, Kanashimi no kikyuu has the better melody.

The whole album sounds nice, but only just a "nice". The main factor complaint might be, obviously, not enough track, and her voice is not solid enough (it happens before in LAS VEGAS), but the whole album vibes, arrangement, etc kinda save it slightly. And if there's another chance to let me complain, it is the album cover, which I think too fancy, too exaggerated for some reason (It happens the exact opposite for "This Armor" though)

The album is not in my top Chihiro Album, my top might be either Ken to Kaede or Dorothy, but I still enjoy it very much.

Kacku 7th February 2017 09:18 PM

I always enjoy reading reviews and opinions on music I like, so it was cool to see yours! :) Here's mine:

Syndrome is an enjoyable album but suffers from a lack of variation. There's so much slow tempo going on and most of the songs don't really stand out much with their melodies or arrangements, which makes the middle section blur together. Gensoukyoku and Kanashimi no Kikyuu suffer from this the most: they're both really nice songs (I especially like Kanashimi no Kikyuu) but they're bracketed by more memorable tracks and suffer in comparison. This album is really short as is (more of a mini-album, really), so I wish it had a few more songs on it to give the whole package a little more energy.

I actually came to love good bye my love a lot more as a part of the album: I do still think it's a bit too long and sounds very produced, but it's so warm and lovely and Chihiro's vocals are really impressive (btw, this song is a blast to belt along to); the acoustic version doesn't really bring anything new to the table, but it's still a nice thing to have and it really showcases Chihiro's vocals. Ao no Hakobune is nice, but the acoustic version on the single completely overshadows this version, the solo piano accompaniment suits both the melody and the vocals so much better. My favourite of the completely new songs is probably Hi no Tori, I love its warm, hopeful and comforting sound. I also love Sweet Hi-Five, Kanashimi no Kikyuu and Chandelier a lot. ULTIMATE FICTION loses me with the verses though the chorus is nice. It's also the only instance on the album where Chihiro's vocals bother me in the slightest, and even here it's just that I'm not a fan of the vocal style in the verses. Other than that, she sounds almost unbelievably good throughout the whole album, it's so different from just a few years ago.

I agree that Syndrome is just "nice", and it's not my top album either (that would be either insomnia or TRICKY SISTERS MAGIC BURGER). It's still an enjoyable release, and I'm sure I'm gonna keep spinning many of the tracks for a good while.

In other news, here's how Syndrome has been doing on the Oricon charts: #8 -> #9 -> #11 -> #17 -> #15 -> out of the top 30 -> #25

Kacku 13th March 2017 10:54 PM

I got a rip of the live CD that was floating around on the internet. I think there's something wrong with the rip though since it skips to the next track at the end of every song, sometimes like a minute before the actual end of the track (I can listen to the end if I go back and skip the spot where it would jump to the next track though). It's unfortunate 'cause the live versions recorded here are AMAZING. Chihiro's vocals are really good and most of the live arrangements are excellent. I get kinda tired of Gekkou sometimes, but the cello on this version elevates it and I love it unreservedly; the cello also brings Memai to life in a new way. The marching drum is a great addition to Kaerimichi wo Nakushite, and the song's climax manages to be impressive even though Chihiro's vocals don't sound quite as strong as in the original version. And I think I like these live versions of Watashi to Waltz wo and Natsu no Tsumi better than the original studio versions. I think the only tracks I have any reservations about are Ryuuseigun and Wakusei no Mori; I LOVE the original versions so much and these arrangements just aren't as good as the original ones, as enjoyable as they otherwise are. Now I just really wish I could actually own this CD, too bad I'm ridiculously broke. :P

Kacku 29th April 2017 08:24 PM

Live album coming! Tiny Screams will be released on June 21st, and it's a double album with a DVD. These songs are from her TIGER LILY concerts last year, and some of them were already released on the Syndrome bonus disc. This makes the Syndrome bonus disc seem a bit of a cheap and dirty move, as nine out of the ten tracks from that release are now on this live album (and the only track to remain exclusive is Watashi to Waltz wo... and they have another recording of it on this new album). However, I can't be too mad about this because judging by the tracks that came with Syndrome, these concerts sounded really good and deserve to be properly released and I'm dying to hear the rest of the songs, and a majority (13 out of 22) of the tracks are actually previously unreleased! So I'm definitely looking forward to this release and hoping it'll be available through iTunes internationally, I just hope no one who got the limited edition of Syndrome feels cheated.

WOW I didn't know there will be broadcast. I wish the best for her and finger crossed at the stage fright she has all the time :no

Kacku 27th June 2017 05:15 PM

^ She has problems with stage fright? I've never heard heard of this before.

Tiny Screams is out! It seems to be doing ok on Oricon (debuted at #11, seems pretty good for a live album), too. The album is available in my iTunes Store, so it's probably available everywhere else in the world too (her older albums Sugar High, LAS VEGAS, and DOROTHY are also on iTunes now, I'm pretty sure they weren't some months ago). My copy hasn't arrived yet, but I've allowed myself to listen to some tracks from the leaked album, and they sound fantastic. :heart

I remember there was an article said that she's not a live concert person. It was pretty obvious she forgot her lyrics during hotel murderess of arizona and also how panicked she looked during her recent live show.

JEWELian 18th July 2017 06:52 AM

this year's tour is her first tour in 15 years (according to the promo brochure), which sounds accurate.

i saw her live the other week in sapporo and her stage presence was fine, she stood in the middle and sang and didn't talk. though she gave a fan in the audience a bracelet from her ankle at the end which was cute, the girl was in tears.

her voice was flat but i think the acoustic sound of the show doesn't help that either.

looking forward to the broadcast!

Kacku 1st November 2017 05:09 PM

^ Wow, I thought I'd replied to your comment long ago, but it appears I never did. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your insight on the concert, it was interesting to hear! The anklet moment sounds really cute. It's unfortunate that she sounded flat, but... yeah, she does, based on the preview as well.

Live DVD/Blu-ray ENDLESS LESSON will be released on November 29th! It's a two-disc release featuring one concert recording from the Syndrome Concert Tour on each disc. Disc 1, titled LESSON 1 [FLAME], contains the concert recorded on July 12th at Tokyo Nakano Sun Plaza with the full tour band, and disc 2, LESSON 2 [ROSE], contains the recording from her July 18th concert at Zepp DiverCity (Tokyo) which featured only the piano backing the vocals. The set list was the same for both concerts.

I downloaded an audio rip of ENDLESS LESSON here a week ago and I've been listening to it a lot for the past few days and I've come to enjoy it quite a bit. Random thoughts:

- Chihiro does indeed sound flatter and raspier than on Tiny Screams, but she still hits all the notes (good bye my love is obviously a struggle though), she seems to get better as the concerts progress (she sounds beautiful in both recordings of Hi no Tori), and is overall pretty good - she can really deliver the songs.

- I'm really impressed with many of the arrangements. X is a highlight on both discs, and it works flawlessly with both the acoustic band and piano-only arrangements. Ryuuseigun and Kaerimichi wo Nakushite both manage to sound grand even with just the piano and vocals, and I actually prefer these takes over any other live versions I've heard.

- I have a clear preference for the second disc, LESSON 2 [ROSE]. I think most of the songs actually sound better with just the piano, the rest of the band just doesn't seem to add much and can sometimes actually be kind of a distraction from Chihiro's voice (Ao no Hakobune should always be performed with only the piano - or at most, piano and some sparsely used extra, like on Tiny Screams).

- These live albums have really made me discover Last Melody. It's such a great song that I always used to overlook, and Chihiro sings it really well live, I love listening to the live versions.

- I am OBSESSED with Hi no Tori at the end of the second disc. It was my favourite song on Syndrome since day 1, and it just sounds so good as a gentle piano ballad, and Chihiro sings it so softly and the warmth and sadness in the song come out so clearly... and her tearful thank-you at the end, ugh my heart.

- On the negative side of things: Hi no Tori, Chandelier and Natsu no Tsumi are really the only ones among the new songs that stand out positively on this release. good bye my love and Ao no Hakobune are fantastic songs, but the performances on both discs are just rough, and I don't really feel like listening to them again. Meanwhile, the rest of the new songs are just forgettable next to her older material.

If anyone wants to hear the rips but hates the upload hosts the site above uses (I know I do), just say the word and I can upload the rips somewhere else.

I also noticed randomly today that Tiny Screams is now available on Spotify (at least in my region)! It didn't used to be there, and her other releases on the current label still aren't, which I find strange. But anyway, for any Spotify users here, go check if it's available and enjoy! It's such a good album, probably my favourite purchase last year. :heart

I want to go to the concert SO BAD. I don't live in France and I don't speak French but I will try to pull some stunts to get there because this sounds like a true once-in-a-lifetime event!

Also, I want the European edition of Syndrome! I wonder how limited the release will be.

Yoake 24th May 2018 05:56 PM

Oh my Oh my Oh my GOD!
Last week I was moaning because the artists I like and who come in Europe always choose the wrong date. Kokia'll come the 11th November in Paris and I already have a concert myself such as for Sky-Hi last year. But this time it should be ok.

Kacku 24th May 2018 09:28 PM

^ I hope you can make it! This date seems really good, it's a Saturday and all! And I hope I can find a way to make it too, ahhhh.

Chihiro's Facebook page shared this post from a French Facebook page that I think has some information about the concert, but I haven't been able to try and look further into it yet. Here's what they published, hopefully this will be of help to someone:

Yoake 25th May 2018 11:36 AM

Let me translate it quickly (in my bad English). French is my mother tongue ;-)

The most powerful voice of Japan will hold a concert for the first time in France.

Presale will start on 26th May 2018 at 2 pm on the official shop of La Fée Sauvage
:http://shop.wildfaery.com

The remain tickets’ll be sold in the traditional point of sales ( Fnac, Carrefour, Auchan, Tocketmaster) on 9th Juny at 10 am.

On 12nd January 2019 Chihiro Onitsuka’ll hold a concert for the first time at the Trianon in Paris. She’ll be accompanied only by a piano and she’ll sing her classic songs and her recent works.

*After that it’s just a short biography with her records and hits.*

Her last album, Syndrome (https://youtu.be/sG6Myna-7iU) will be released in an European edition on 7th November 2018. A wonderful edition included CD, DVD and a Vinyl.

relmy 25th May 2018 12:14 PM

I want to go so much! I can't afford to book a trip right now, but I might get a ticket and book transport/hotel last minute. London - Paris is simple. Whatever I do will be cheaper than a trip to Japan anyway...!!

I want to see her so badly.

Seriously, whatever this might end up costing, at least it's the same continent so instantly cheaper. :laugh I hope you can get everything together and get to see her!

Chihiro is also adding two dates to her UNDER BABIES concert tour in August in support of the single release.

Yoake 5th August 2018 12:55 PM

Hinagiku pv :

Nice Ballad. The covers for this single is very different from what she did. I like them.

prussian blue 5th August 2018 03:21 PM

The cover looks really good, but not a fan of her shorter hair though. I thought she would style it edgier.

The song sounds good so far, I know she really did her best to make the song sounds like the "grand ballad" like what she did in the past, but I feel there is something lacking in her voice, which I think was the same problem with her last album. Overall, I'm still excited for her new stuff, can't wait to listen the full version.

Kacku 6th August 2018 06:32 PM

^ I'm not a fan of the shorter hair either, I don't think it's a particularly flattering cut for her. I'm not loving the covers either, I think they look a bit busy with the carpet as the background, Chihiro's hair all over the place, the mesh and fringe and everything on her dress...

I like the song though! I'm looking forward to hearing the full version. I hope Twilight Dreams will be good too.

XFER 6th August 2018 11:04 PM

Cover is great, but the song is pretty but a bit weak. Also, not a fan of the short hair. At least the cover (which is great), is nothing SANDWITCHES-like lol

Kacku 7th August 2018 07:07 PM

^ Aww, I love the MAGIC BURGER covers, the cartoons are so stylised and cool. :laugh

prussian blue 8th August 2018 08:10 AM

I forgive the cover by the fact that she is using "billy sandwitches" instead of her real name.

And surprisingly, the songs in that album are unexpectedly good. I still hoping she will do a live for "I'm with your shadow".

Kacku 8th August 2018 08:06 PM

^ I'm really bummed that she seems to have abandoned that album completely as a side project to be forgotten. The songs were good! I would've loved it if Tiny Screams had included songs like I'm with your shadow, Mad Man, Your Quiet Fantasia, Road of Honesty... They would've fit the setlist seamlessly and I would love to hear them with stripped-down live arrangements and Chihiro's improved vocals.

By the way, thinking about her lives and setlists reminded me to go check out what she performed at the recent UNDER BABIES concerts. Here's the setlist for the stop at Zepp Tokyo:

1. シャイン (Shine)
2. 青い鳥 (Aoi Tori)
3. infection
4. 漂流の羽根 (Hyouryuu no Hane)
5. 月光 (Gekkou)
6. 流星群 (Ryuuseigun)
7. CROW
8. edge
9. MAGICAL WORLD
10. 弦葬曲 (Gensoukyoku)
11. Sign
12. 私とワルツを (Watashi to Waltz wo)
13. 僕等 バラ色の日々 (Bokura Barairo no Hibi)
14. 螺旋 (Rasen)
15. King of Solitude
16. Twilight Dreams
17. VENUS
(source)

Really cool setlist! I like that she's performing some deeper cuts and hasn't forgotten about Ken to Kaede. I wonder if the upcoming August concerts will feature a changed setlist.

prussian blue 15th August 2018 12:04 PM

LOVE her current version or Rasen.

I never been a fans of this song, but how time has shaped her voice and to sing her old song make me incredibly emotion.

Kacku 15th August 2018 11:15 PM

Sounds lovely! I like Rasen, I'm glad she's performing it.

prussian blue 20th August 2018 05:43 PM

This user uploaded a few clips from her last tour. She SOUNDS amazing, like literally. I didn't expect for her to sing in such emotions and logic after her illness, but she blew me away this time.

Kacku 23rd August 2018 09:39 PM

^ I checked out the clips as well. Hi no Tori is still my favourite out of those, she just performs it so beutifully, it's a really moving concert ender. She sounds great singing Gekkou too.

Hinagiku is out! Thoughts? My impression of both of the new songs is that they're like 4/5, good but not quite there. That's been a bit of a recurring problem for her in this current Victor era, as most of Syndrome suffered from the same thing. I think Hinagiku has a great melody, full of sadness, but the arrangement is a bit too static and doesn't really hit a climax, which holds the song back from being really striking and memorable. Twilight Dreams also has a great melody, it feels very bittersweet (which I'm always a sucker for) and unresolved in the best way, but again, the arrangement feels a bit overstuffed and static and leaves less of an impact. Chihiro's vocals and melodies are really good, just like they have been since 2016, but I think the arrangements need to get more dynamic and stripped down. I still think her best work from this era is the acoustic version of Ao no Hakobune, where the piano arrangement beautifully highlights Chihiro's vocals, brings space and gravity and makes the song perfectly dynamic. That song should set the example for her future direction.

My feelings on the live recordings are pretty much the same as when I listened to ENDLESS LESSON's audio: all of them are really good, with Last Melody and, even more so, X standing out for their great live arrangements and Hi no Tori for Chihiro's best vocal performance. They really picked the best songs to include on this single, because the DOROTHY trio and Hi no Tori seemed to be the absolute highlights of the tour.

In other news: Chihiro is all about concerts this year, as she's doing two more concerts in December! This mini-tour is titled BEEKEEPER, and the concerts will take place in Tokyo's TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on December 11th and in Osaka's NHK Osaka Hall on December 19th.

prussian blue 26th August 2018 04:36 PM

Hinagiku is too average for my liking, there is an imbalance between her voice and the arrangement. I LOVE the orchestra, it reminds me her grand ballade "infection" in so many way, yet her voice is too raw, that it was overwhelmed by the whole orchestra thing. The song's melody is fine, there are some part that reminds me of some Enka songs.

Twilight dreams on the other hand just sounds like a couple song which doesn't has any climax that I can remember.

Yoake 24th December 2018 12:59 AM

I just read that the concert in Paris is cancelled.

Quote:

Dear fans of Chihiro Onitsuka,

We thank you for your continuous support for Chihiro Onitsuka.

We regret to inform you that Chihiro’s live performance in France scheduled on January 12, 2019 will be canceled due to her poor physical condition.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who are looking forward to her performance.
We will do our best to be able to perform in France in the near future.

We highly appreciate your understanding.

Sincerely

Syndrome (Premium Collector's Edition) includes an LP-sized package, a poster, and a photobook, and of course the Syndrome CD with the same old tracklist plus a second CD containing the instrumental versions of all the songs on the album.

I CANNOT believe they're misspelling UNDER BABIES (as UNDER BAIBIES) now, after it was properly spelled in all the previous announcements and the tour logo and whatnot. :laugh I'm excited for HUSH HUSH LOUD but the cover is not my favourite and as I'm more of a CD person, I'd rather just get the live CD. I don't really see why they're releasing a new edition of Syndrome and I don't find the contents super appealing, but whatever.

prussian blue 4th February 2019 11:19 PM

I'm concerned about her releases lately. Of course I'm grateful her company is willing to release more stuff, but with all the concert with almost-the-same-tracklist started to bore me a little bit. I just hope that it will be a different render of her songs.

Kacku 5th February 2019 04:48 AM

I kind of agree, it's pretty absurd how much of the same material both of the concert tours last year had (and it's really obvious when you see the tracklists for this live release - eight out of the nine songs on the CD are also on the DVD/Blu-ray for a nominally different tour). But at least the setlists aren't all the same year after year - the TIGER LILY and Syndrome concerts featured many songs which are now out of rotation. I also hope for new arrangements.

I'd like some more new music, it feels like the Syndrome era just won't end.

I admit I laughed at BAIBIES lol

Mari-chan 17th March 2019 04:58 PM

Can someone tell me, where I can find the Song "Hinagiku"? On Youtube I only find a short Version of the Video. I was never able to hear the full song.
Was it the last new song, or where there some other new songs more?

Kacku 17th March 2019 08:40 PM

The Hinagiku single should be available around the globe on streaming and digital download platforms. If you want, I can upload the single (I didn't find a working download link when I tried a search just now). If you just want to hear the song and see the PV, the video has been uploaded on Vimeo.

Hinagiku and Twilight Dreams are the latest songs she's released. A new song titled "End of the world" has been announced, but no word about a release yet.

Thanks a lot.Would be nice, if you could upload the single for me.
I also never heard "Twilight dreama". Do you also have this song`? Or is it also on the Hinagiku Single?

Kacku 21st March 2019 01:39 PM

^ I uploaded the single for you, you can get the link here. And yes, Twilight Dreams is also on the single.

In other news, the TV version of Chihiro's new song, End of the world, is up on YouTube. Note: the song is the ending theme to a drama named Pornographer ~Indigo no Kibun~, so the video is a little... NSFW. :laugh

I really like what I'm hearing so far. This song hits that lovely combination of sad and sweet that I always eat up, and the arrangement sounds lovely. But I think Chihiro's voice is going back to 2014, which is not great.

Oh yes.... End of the world also sounds nice so far. The voice is still ok. But there was really a time, when I didn't liked her voice. She sounds a bit like she was drunken.
Hope, we can hear the full song soon.

XFER 21st March 2019 08:34 PM

Cool clip! ♥ lol

Yoake 22nd March 2019 09:58 AM

End of the world sound good. Very 2000s-ish. I wonder if we'll get more sound from this period. I noticed that singers tend to release songs inspired by this era nowadays.

Kacku 26th March 2019 03:10 PM

^ I would love more early-00s inspired music, from Chihiro and J-pop in general.

End of the world is coming sooner than expected, it will be released digitally tomorrow, on March 27th!

Cover:

Oh, and I downloaded the CD from HUSH HUSH LOUD today, anyone want me to upload it?

Edit: Been listening to the HUSH HUSH LOUD CD pretty much the whole afternoon. Opinions: Chihiro sounds a bit shaky and croaky at the beginning, but her vocals improve towards the end. The arrangements are nice, but few of them leave an impression like on Tiny Screams. Stand-out tracks: infection, CROW, Rasen, and, especially, VENUS. VENUS blows me away, Chihiro sounds amazing and the arrangement is really good.
