I don't think the problem is too much photoshop, it's just bad photoshop. She can looks like a porcelain doll but still with a gorgeous face.

i believe lots of artists are doing that, because they just want to deliver a perfect show to their fans. Trying to reach someting perfect is endless. it's like a drug the more you reach the higher you wanna get. i don't think she's really doubting hrself, more likelly she just wants to try and get into the heads of the fans. In the translated piece she's asking if the fans will like it, not if she can do it. So i think she's just trying to find out what te fans will like, because every single show is different and you need to bring it with a maximum so everyone remembers it. :)

eh she looks better in your guys' versions...but she looks more natural in the original...

idk I don't think the photoshoppers have the easiest job with these photos.

^natural? er.... well i do agree that changing her nose shape to make it look better is probably not right, but just adjusting the colors i think is ok...and honestly that TAN and waxy face does not look natural at all....seems like they overused highlighter and bronzing powder WAYYY too much lol

She might have meant natural as in what she looks like now a days. Not that she has a natural look.

She might have a gallon of make up on, but well, this is what she looks like with a gallon of make up on. This is what she looks like with a strong tan.

Adjusting the colors is fine. But they didn't make it that bright for a reason. It covers up her skin color, distorts the whites, puts a high contrast on her hair, and removes details from her face.

That's okay if you like it...but I just think there's reasons why they didn't do it, and that those reasons are fairly valid. It might look BETTER but...a lot of things would look better :shrug

I think Ayu doesn't look her best in some, mainly one, of these photos because of the tan, make up, and angles. I don't think better photoshop would have helped that much without taking away from, the things I said above.

I agree that it's not a bad photoshoot, but not her worst. Still better than A SUMMER BEST CD and Sunrise/sunset.

I would say that if they didn't have the guys in the shoot, a lot more people would be loving these photos.
