Gaga sings national anthem at NYC Pride Lady Gaga made her first public appearance since undergoing hip surgery in March at this year's NYC Gay Pride Kick Off Rally tonight, June 28, 2013. That photo is gorgeous! It's got me all excited for the ARTPOP era all over again. I'll admit, I forgot all about it for a while...I'm glad she seems to have recovered from her hip surgery okay and is back on track with her new album.

I keep thinking TEA will be the first single, based on a tweet from DJWS about going down the rabbit hole (reference to Alice in Wonderland, and the tea party). Plus, the tweet from one of the Haus members saying the tea is boiling. And Tara mentioning a year ago from a tweet saying when you hear the single, you will pee your pants (hinting at TEA being the first single, cus drinking tea will make you pee your pants).

Not that experimental, this style has been becoming more popular (the detailed creativeness in the arrangement - I've been a huge fan of it). That being said, it's already leaps ahead of what she was trying to do with Born This Way.

It's such a shame, The Fame Monster was pretty much a perfect pop album, it was catchy but it had those darker moments on it, and they came across as only half-serious in rather self aware way. Even The Fame was pretty fun and catchy. I think she's better when she doesn't take herself seriously... |
