really? my one complaint about ayu's concerts has always been that she NEVER does any sort of alternate versions of songs. that's why i was so pleased with PoM. fans know the songs already, i think doing a different version or changing things around makes it interesting.

If I'm going TO a concert, it's to see the person. If I wanna hear the songs as they were, I'll just stay home and listen to the CD. Long as I get to see Ayu and her energy and her costumes and her stage sets, I could care less what versions of the songs she plays.

But if I'm buying a concert album or I'm listening to concert audio, I want them to be reversioned/remixed/rearranged. Otherwise it's kind of pointless.

yeah...because how many times can i seriously see ayu perform evolution/audience/surreal/etc... in the same way? as much as i love her, it gets boring.

i think it'd be great to have a mix at a concert, some songs performed as they are on the album, some rearranged or remixed in some way.

OMG the classical version of You & Me is so nice!! The introduction is beautiful. The song didn't lose his energy with this new arrangement. I'm not a fan of the original version as much as I love the classical version. :love

I think if people were not a fan of the original, they probably wouldn't like this one... but it COULD change some people over if they weren't a fan of the arrangement only.

You & Me...it actually makes me feel the same as the fan made version of classical Sunrise - excited. BRILLIANT. I love the arangement tand the perfect poping up of different instruments, it keeps you listening closelly. Love it! This is QUALITY stuff.

I actually enjoyed the original too, i thought it was fun and energetic, plus Ayu sounds really nice and fresh, tho wasn't a very huge fan of the arangement, this is sooooooooo much better!

The song sounds even more like Glitter now. Its more tolerable this way. also whats up with the Wow wow wows? they sound totally digitized and out of place in an orchestral setting.

IMO although it's classical or whatever they should have kept the reverb and vocal effects on You & Me, it's not like it's "Acoustic Orchestra" which should have the vocals stripped back as it's 'acoustic' and all..

I also feel the Wow wow wow part doesn't blend with the rest. Not fan of the Lalala part also.

Yet they did an amazing job considering the original song.
Looking forward to hearing the other tracks.

This is A Classical, of course they're not the same. (the versions from this album are 'Classical' not 'Acoustic Orchestra'/'Orchestra versions') Nothing on this release is 'old'. did some people miss the memo about everything being rearranged by a composer? I suppose after the panic about the covers, that kind of thing is going to happen.

You & Me pleasantly surprised me. For me, its a bad piece of music whatever the arrangement, but I loved this version.

arragments is AMAZING, but this song just shouldn't been choosed in first place. At least they should ignore the "lalala" part and just leave this without it.

well, don't forget it is classified as a "remix" album. So the sales will reach, maximum, 20.000 copies ?! (regarding the last sales, very bad we can say) Namie Amuro is really better placed than Ayu (her last album is 550.000 copies sold !) : she will not remain the J-pop queen longer :(
