Yeah... overseas fans may not agree, but You & Me really was a bit of a 'hit'. It's 300k away from 3 million views right now. It's probably also the first song she really promoted recently and released a long PV edit/YouTube edit/etc. of the song, so that's why it probably got a lot of fans.

my love towards beloved is this as well. the post-311 consolation. but maybe it will turn out to be a boring song in the concert... (but the rearrangement on PoM is awesome)

i also feel it's a bit waste to vote for Boys & Girls, Surreal, evolution. i guess most of the votes are from the japanese fans?

am pleasantly surprised to see meaning of love and beloved on the list, they are some of her most underrated ballads, and am happy to see that they will be performed. am upset that ever free made it over girlish as the token "obscure" song though, cos it's SUCH a boring song i can't understand why anybody would want to watch it performed live.

I'm surprised not much of the newer albums didn't make it (especially STEP you! Like dayum) but I'm not so disappointed. I'm reallyyyy hoping she'd at least include all of the songs on the DVD. Like maybe she could have a main setlist, and put the unused performances as part of a Limited edition bonus or something. Buuut I highly doubt she'll do that.

I wonder if she'll pull a Namie and try to copy all the stuff she did in her past lives (like donning the same costumes/hairstyles and doing the same exaxt actions at the same time as an old video, etc.). It'd be really cool :D *crosses fingers*

Boring? Thats a personal opinion. I am so glad no more words made it! I think it's one of her most prettiest ballads. It's actually one of my favorite songs by her! It's what made me become a true fan of hers! Plus she only performed it once, so I don't see why people who love the song can't vote for it. I voted for kanariya and I don't even really care for it, but I want to see her perform something different. She performed Step You so many times already IMO I'm bored of it... :innocent

Really not many songs in that list that makes me go 'wow can't wait to see that live'. momentum, as she's not really done that song properly live before, and Memorial Address because its a favourite of mine. HEAVEN would be nice to hear again as well. Other than that, eh. There's so many songs continually neglected - eg. still alone.

Also suspicious by the amount of LOVE again material on this list. Me thinks avex added these so the tour could resemble somewhat of performances of her latest album, I highly doubt Japanese fans would have voted for those songs in droves.

Yes but I do recall the Japanese loving it and on the rekochuku or whatever the eff you call it charts it did extremely well during the release of R'n'R Circus.

I love the orchestra (or possibly it was acoustic) version of meaning of love. The only unmemorable thing about it was its boring-ass arrangement on the R'n'R Circus album.

I actually thought the melody was what was lacking. It just sounds too "campy" and dull for me. Somewhat awkward.

I like the acoustic piano version too. And somehow, I've combined the song with a local produce movie "The leap years" trailer. I don't know why but somehow I find this song connects with the movie >.<

^i dunno why (i have never watched that movie before) but i was teary after watching the trailer. i think it's that silentness of meaning of Love that can touch your inside that i have so much love towards this song (esp this acoustic version)

It's not that it's bad to me, I liked it. But it's probably one of my least favorite ayu songs because there are better ones that didn't make the list lol. It's just one of those songs that's a nice song but nothing special in my book and I always skip it when I listen to RnRC. That song and beloved are a waste to me. But alas, it's what the fans want lol.

Beloved is actually one of my favorite of her newer ones... I don't know why! I can admit there's nothing too special about it but it's just so soothing... Sometimes that's all I need lol.

I've always loved the FIVE album, especially beloved. Meaning of Love is a pretty nice song too imo, so I'm glad that they made it onto the list.

I think it has to do more with the necessayr vocals for the song. Even when it was first released, it would be very difficult for her voice to be able to hit those high notes. And now with her deeper voice I find it out of the question.

I agree she doesn't need to do it super high pitched if she can't. She can do the remix, or a new arrangement that is fit for her current voice. Besides doesn't she feels weird it NEVER got performed in any sort of kind unlike ever free. Maybe avex forced the single, but still there must be a reason other than that if it was chosen as a single.

I feel like she got forced to create this song but it ended up to be a hidden track in Loveppears.

Well, in my case, they're both of my favorite songs ever (kanariya's being the PV version), and since they've never been perfomed live, I really want to hear/see them, even if Ayu voice couldn't reach some notes. :P

I am fine that she play ever free in A BEST Live but just not performing it. We just don't exactly know why she never performs kanariya while it is one of the most requested songs.

I imagine a deep ballad version of kanariya, matching her current voice.
Like, only her voice and a piano, slow pace and ayu almost whispering the song with our beautiful deep voice.

The big fuss about kanariya and ever free for me is that I really love both songs, they're beautiful but yea like kotora said. ever free was presented in 2000 and now so it's not that much of a problem, but she never perform kanariya and I wonder why.

New theory: perhaps someone who used to work in avex pushed her to write kanariya. That person got fired or no longer in avex, so ayu chooses to avoid this song. Maybe she will sing this song if she get pissed off by avex, a lot.

And yea, despite any possible theories we can think of, it's a risk for a singer songwriter like her that all of her songs have their own little history of their own it probably causes her to avoid performing some of it.
