Covers wise , I only find them so-so for my liking . It's as though the background drops are more superior than the actual guys themselves :x

Man , does this mean I have to get all 3 editions ? or should I settle with both CD + DVD's ?

Kamenashi Kazuya & Tamaki Koji's unit tops Oricon single ranking

Kazuya Kamenashi & Koji Tamaki's Single Ranked First In Oricon Single Chart

It has been announced before that KAT-TUN member Kazuya Kamenashi will be pairing up with Anzen Chitai's Koji Tamaki to form a unit called "Hottake BAND" for the NTV drama "Tokyo Band Wagon: Shitamachi Daikazoku Monogatari" where both actors star in.

KAT-TUN's 'Kusabi' tops Oricon's weekly album chart

KAT-TUN's first album in a year and 9 months, "Kusabi" (released on November 27), sold 168,000 copies during the first week and topped Oricon's weekly album chart.

This is the group's 7th consecutive chart-topping album since their 1st "Best of KAT-TUN" (released in March 2006). Having topped the album chart with 7 consecutive albums since the 1st one, the group has the tied record with Utada Hikaru.

This album's first week sales also increased compared to their previous album "CHAIN" (released in February 2012) which sold 110,000 copies in the first week.

KAT-TUN to Join Sakurai Sho’s “Ima, kono kao ga sugoi!”

A new plan is reportedly on the works with TBS‘ “Ima, kono kao ga sugoi!” that is hosted by Arashi’s Sakurai Sho and Ariyoshi Hiroyuki. The said plan will start by Jan 9 next year.

In the said plan, KAT-TUN will team-up with Sakurai for the “Johnny’s team” as opposed with Ariyoshi’s “Celebrity Team” with Kano Eiko and Tomoharu Shoji. The two groups will appeal to 100 people who will decide on the winner. Sakurai is all “go for the win” and vow not to lose.

No other news whether KAT-TUN’s appearance to the show will be temporary or regular.

Kazuya Kamenashi to star in spy movie “Joker Game”

Not to be confused with the 2012 teen survival thriller starring Rie Kitahara, this Joker Game is actually based on the first in a spy story compilation novel by Koji Yanagi with illustrations by Yoshinatsu Mori. In 2009, the novel won the 30th Yoshikawa Eiji Prize for New Writers and the 62nd Mystery Writers of Japan Award. The novel’s two sequels, Double Joker and Paradise Lost, were also popular, having reached a total circulation of over 700,000 copies to date.

The film is set in a fictional international Asian city on the eve of World War II as spies from countries such as Japan, the UK, the Soviet Union, and Germany engage in a “spy game”, using every trick and plot they can think of to gain the upper hand in the secret intelligence battle.

Kamenashi’s character Kato is about to receive a severe punishment for disobeying his superiors when he’s scouted by Yuuki to become a spy for D Kikan. He endures rigorous training and is eventually given his first mission as a secret agent. Kato must infiltrate the multicultural city referred to “Devil’s Metropolis” in order to take a critical “black notebook” from U.S. Ambassador Graham.

The film depicts Kato’s attempts to find the notebook along with a mysterious woman named Rin. Meanwhile, D Kikan gets caught up in a fierce rivalry with a radical faction of the Imperial Japanese Army.

Due to the international nature of the films theme, it will be shot in a wide array of locations including three separate areas of Japan, a large open-air set on the island of Batam, Indonesia, and Singapore.

Filming of “Joker Game” began on January 4. A release is planned for sometime in 2015.

Iseya's role is "Yuki", the lieutenant colonel who takes the command of the organization, while Fukada plays as a mysterious woman called "Rin", the U.S. Ambassador's mistress.

Kamenashi commented, "I have read the original novel before, and was wishing to be a part of it if it ever got a live-action adaptation, so I was very happy." Apparently, the filming will be held not only in Japan, but also in overseas like Singapore and Indonesia, and regarding the filming, Kamenashi said, "As this will be my first time to film in overseas, and to attend the action scenes with people from overseas, I am really looking forward to it."

The film is directed by Irie Yu ("SR Saitama no Rapper" series), and it is set for release sometime in 2015.

Akanishi has always had a strong interest in developing his career abroad. After leaving KAT-TUN in 2006, he left to study English in Los Angeles. However, soon after, he caused trouble by reporting his marriage to actress Kuroki Meisa, after it actually happened, to his agency.

Since then, his viewpoints have been diverging from that of the agency's. As of now, Akanishi's page on Johnny's net as well as official fan site Johnny's web have not been updated to reflect this change.

While I never like Akanishi's I'm too cool for my own liking attitude , I must admit for him in daring to be different & not being the typical Johnny idol that he portrays , it takes a lot of guts to do so

It's for the best for both parties at the end of the day & needless to say , his popularity if not respect from the public has dropped considerably after he left KAT-TUN twice & also the way he handled his sudden marriage to Kuroki really poorly

Are Meisa Kuroki and Jin Akanishi getting a divorce?

KAT-TUN to hold their 1st nation-wide tour in over 2 years

It was announced that KAT-TUN would hold their first nationwide tour in 2 years and 3 months. This will also mark their first tour since they became a 4-member group after Tanaka Koki's withdrawal.

The group will kick off the tour on July 8 at Tokyo International Forum, which was the venue they held their first solo live in August 2002 before their CD debut. The live concert became a legend for the fans as a total of 550,000 people applied for the tickets.

KAT-TUN will make stops at 10 locations with 23 stages, and approximately 300,000 audience will attend the tour. They're also said to be planning for their overseas performance for their 10th anniversary 2 years later.

Prior to the tour, the group is scheduled to release new single "In Fact" on June 4 and new album "come Here" on June 25.

Kamenashi confessed that he bumped into Jin Akanishi at a Bruno Mars concert in April. It was his first time coming face to face with Akanshi in four years. Akanishi reportedly said, "I gave up on being a Johhny's" to Kamenashi. He responded back saying, "I saw it on the news" and that was the chat. Junnosuke Taguchi(田口淳之介) (28) also commented on Jin Akanishi walking on a different path, "If you feel there's something else out there, you have to go and look for it".

The group will release a new album titled "come here" on June 25th, 2014 and the scheduled tour will mobilize over 300,000 people. However, the group is not only focusing on Japan. They have the intention to do a live event in foreign country for the group's 10th anniversary of their debut. Kamenashi said, "If we could do a overseas live, we are determined to do it as a group of 4."

Akanishi Jin Establishes Independent Label & Official Fan Club

When he watched the members rehearse their solos beside the stage, it made him recall his memories from 12 years ago which almost made him cry.

Kamenashi said that the tour may not have been possible if it weren’t for the voices of the fans. Thus, their latest album and tour is titled – come Here – to show the closeness of their relationship with their fans. “H” is in capital to signify their 8th original album, in which “H” also happens to be the 8th letter in the English alphabet, and “H” also stands for hyphens.

First Glimpse On Spy movie "Joker Game" Starring Kamenashi Kazuya

It was announced that the movie Joker Game starring Kamenashi Kazuya will be released on January 31, 2015. The first trailer has also been revealed. This spy suspense movie directed by Irie Yu is based on the bestselling novel of the same title written by Koji Yanagi. Filming took place in Japan, Singapore and Batam, Indonesia.

Set on the eve of World War II, it tells the story of a fictional spy organization where Kato Jiro (Kamenashi) was recruited by a top-secret military organization “D Kikan” led by a mysterious man named Yuki (Iseya Yusuke) who will establish the ultimate brain game revolving around the secret document called “black notebook”, which is also the aim of the rest of the world.

The first trailer that will be be shown across theaters starting from the 13th has been published on its official website. It begins with with the scene of a young man being given the pseudonym of Kato. Kamenashi also challenges a full-scale action scene and a kissing scene with Fukada Kyoko, who plays the mistress of the United States Ambassador Graham who has a “black notebook”.

The rest of the cast has also been confirmed. Joining them are Ozawa Yukiyoshi, Koide Keisuke, Koji Yamamoto, Shibukawa Kiyohiko, Taguchi Hiromasa, Mitsuishi Ken, and Shimada Kyusaku.

I wonder if it's possible for Kame to come to Singapore to do a movie premiere for Joker Game since he came here to shoot scenes for the movie & I recognised Kampong Glam towards the end of the trailer ahhh

Akanishi Jin to release new mini-album + go on 5-city tour

It's been revealed that Akanishi Jin will kick off his nationwide tour "JIN AKANISHI 'JINDEPENDENCE' TOUR 2014" on November 11, and will also release a mini-album, titled "Mi Amor", on November 12.

This will be Akanishi's 2nd release from his own record label Go Good Records. The entire album will be written, composed, and produced by Akanishi himself. It will be released in 3 different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition.

The limited editions will come with a CD including 6 songs, as well as a DVD. The Limited Edition A DVD will contain the PV and making footage for "Mi Amor", while the Limited Edition B DVD will contain a documentary including footage from his appearance at a festival in Shanghai, and his upcoming event for his single "Good Time", which is scheduled to be held on September 25. The Regular Edition will include an additional track for a total of 7 songs.

As for his nationwide tour, it will kick off on November 11 at Zepp Sapporo, and will wrap up on December 2 at Zepp Tokyo for a total of 7 shows in 5 cities. Fan club members can pre-reserve tickets from September 19 at 6:00 pm to September 26 at 12:00 pm.

INKT is comprised of 5 members who are KOKI (Vo), otherwise known as Tanaka Koki, mACKAz (B / ex. HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR), SASSY (Dr / ex. HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR), Kei (G), and kissy (Key). On their official website, they wrote, "We formed this band as we wanted to deliver music that only the 5 of us can create."
