I reckon there's a chance that A BEST III will be released in a package with the new album/mini album in December. Just like they did with Koda Kumi years ago. Good way to finish off 2013 with a bang and try to sell CDs.

Well, since ayu announced that she is going back to the studio, she is probably gonna record some songs/a lot of songs and I doubt it will be for A BEST 3, unless if it will be 15th original album+A BEST 3 ~15th anniversary~ kind of deal lol. I would love it if it would be like this.

Thought it will happen at next year March, so kinda surprise to have tour dvd as soon as that. But i do worry if rush like that, her live cd will as bad as Namie dome tour (which just used wowow ver). Hopefully she will perform more new song from "LOVE again" at her final stop.

I can wait for her new album, but not A Best 3 (we already have too many compilation that include same old song).

But now i put more high expectation on her this year CDL, hopefully is another PCDL (which celebrated her 10th anniversary), can't wait when her countdown mesg video is past 15 years flashback and perform some songs she never perform before. Days, Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~ (did almost million digital downloads), Together When... You were..., JEWEL and to some extent how beautiful you are, MOON, crossroad, Virgin Road, You & Me. The main hits are Days, Sunrise and Together When... but then before hand it's not like each single/promo song she had sold million legal downloads or 500,000s+ physically.
This number of hits are more than most would have in a best album, that doesn't mean it will be successful though. It could go BoA way (and BoA had Everlasting, Do The Motion and Winter Love on it) ayu has a more solid fanbase though but it might interest mainly the fanbase rather than other general public like the 2 first A BESTs and A COMPLETEs that all sold more than the original albums of the respective years, hell A COMPLETE did better than the album of its year and the one a year and a half before and that's after ayu's biggest hits were used on the A BESTs and A BALLADS. With A BEST 3 though, avex will have to make people's interest raise, ayu will have to work on another hit if it will be possible for her to buy some public interest again or they will just have to do something that will make it work and ayu needs to do her own music-wise (if she even cares... it seems like she likes original albums way more herself lol), if not then A BEST 3 sales will just be lower or close to around 100,000 or LOVE again's sales tops of the tops.

I'd rather have A Ballads 2. New arrangements would be awesome. And imagine it including Haru yo, koi. Instant million-seller :P

That said, I was totally down for A BALLADS II when she released Love songs. Who knows? maybe another ballad collection (complete with TK compositions!) will hit the right nostalgia beats and rebuild some goodwill between the Ayu brand and the average J-pop consumer?

Ok that haru yo koi was performed how long ago already? I think if she were to record it officially that most fans would be let down. Her vocals have changed dramatically since that performance.

Precisely because her voice changed so much, I'd really like resung version of past stuff. I mean, if she does it in concerts, why not record it too?

I would much prefer an A BALLADS II over another A BEST... in a sense, it's a best album, but the songs would be re-arranged. Like the original A BALLADS. If it were just her ballad songs stuck onto a new album, then I'd be annoyed.

But A CLASSICAL kind of already acted as an A BALLADS II... so I guess it wouldn't be as exciting haha.

So I guess I don't really want any sort of best album right now. :P

We will have to settle on whatever ayu/avex/both will want to give us rather than trust on our personal wishes I suppose hahaha. It's good to wish kinds of releases and I have my own wishes but we will have to accept what they give us (or just ignore the release if we don't like it), better than wish and expect for something and then be dissapointed if it's really not what you wanted or really what you didn't want.

I must be the only person that hopes that the next BEST is a career spanning greatest hits. A COMPLETE doesn't really count as it's really just a compilation collection of singles where as BESTS only have the greatest songs regardless if the songs were singles or not.

to be honest, im supportive of whatever ayu gives us. although, i love that the dvd is coming out this year instead of next year. i get to see it sooner, but at the same time i was kinda hoping for another studio album.

ahhhh I'm most excited about hearing A Song for XX, Memorial address, Fly high, M, JEWEL, HEAVEN, Voyage, Boys & Girls, Who..., BLUE BIRD, and Tell all when I go. I wonder what the encores are gonna be on the 27th and 28th, or if they'll be longer. What I want her to perform most is HANABI, Dearest, INSPIRE, SEASONS, WHATEVER, independent, fairyland, Days, and Sparkle, Sunrise, AUDIENCE, and July 1st. I'm sure she'll do at least A TINY few or these at the final two encores! Some (or most) of those songs are on the top 50!!

That would be awesome, but the CD isn't "A LIVE BEST," it's "ayumi hamasaki 15th Anniversary TOUR ~A BEST LIVE~." It'll just be audio from the current tour.

Well, I guess this CD may feature just half of the songs from the concert or some encore songs not from Yoyogi, so the Yoyogi show set-list doesn't necessarily have to be the same as the CD one :-)
