I love how Ayu sang as if she was at one of her concert & not at a TV live. She's so dynamic!!! I'm glad she sang BLUE BIRD. Both songs were quite good. She did it very well.

Wow she was great! :) She really put on a real show and was energetic and was the only one who interacted with audience, cheering them to sing along! Compared to others she really shined! Really shows that she's been an entertainer for long :) Go Ayu!! :D

I liked the performance, specially BLUE BIRD, but I wouldn't have sang evolution if I were her. Come on, she sings evolution all the time, everywhere. It's time to change a bit, if not in her concerts, at least at this kind of shows.

Oh, back to the subject about other singers for a second: I watched the first hour and a half or so, didn't really have any complaints - until Mari Hamada performed Return to myself....

I wanted to slit my throat. I guess she's performed it so many times over 20+ years that she felt the need to change it up, but oh my god. She was channeling Yoko. Did anybody else see it?

Wooow!! BLUE BIRD sounded great and Ayu totally did it justice :) She was so bright and bubbly up there, I legitimately don't know how everyone in Japan doesn't fall in love with her all over again when she appears on shows like this.

evolution was... like every evolution performance ever, really, so yeah. I was almost hoping the 2nd song would be SEASONS - it would've been a strange transition, but as weird as it sounds, the sunflowers on her hat made me think she was trying to reference the iconic SEASONS costume :laugh I suppose not though.

Ayu did a great job though I am not loving the outfit.

I think from all the female solo artists she probably had the most fitting-the-mood choice. It fits the songs! btw what she & dancers wore was a-nation design t-shirts.

I don't mind more evo' as long as it's not all she performs. Even so, fresh or not, if you're Ayumi Hamasaki and you want to get a crowd pumped up, there's really no better way to do it than to sing "evolution", so I'm not against it.

The one upside about having nothing to promote really is that she can pretty much pick whatever she wants from her repertoire to perform, kind of like BLUE BIRD @ FNS.

I'm pretty sure it'll be broadcasted later this year. They used to do Dream Festivals ages ago, and they always got aired. Sometimes in full, sometimes not. But I think this time they might air only parts of each performences coz there are a lot of artists involved.

Nonetheless, it's pretty cool they got ayu to join, I think it'll do her some good to do other things than touring or recording albums.
