Whenever I hear merry-go-round, my two guesses are Kuu's No man's land and Ayu's Marionette. Either way my expectations are high :-D

After so many years without a single, her comeback should be much stronger than the material she has chosen to usher herself back into the scene. Terribly irate that she's releasing a Christmas single that has nothing to do with winter or the Christmas scene. Last years tease was snowy kiss, and now this "Christmas single".

Come on. Namie isn't the first or only, definitely not the last person ever to do edm so it just sounds silly to say she's going in her footsteps or whatever. Not to mention Ayu herself has done it many times since over a decade before. Anywho I think the new song sounds far, far better and different to You & Me and the "90's sound" I find is actually kinda popular right now, for ex. Avicii's new album sounds so 90's at parts yet it's really good and hyped imo. This Ayu song should have more oomph to compare though. It probably is more sweet and toned down on purpose though, it's more j-poppy that way. And I can't remember any names RN but I could swear I've heard a lot of songs lately in clubs which have something like that 1.00-1.15 part.. Of course you can complain that she shouldn't be doing what "everyone else" is, and yeah it is kinda generic, however the song still has a very Ayu vibe imo. I like it. I like that she changes up her game. Oh and everyone who doesn't feel the original You&Me should go listen to the Remo-con mix - it's so nice. And the Shinichi Osawa one as well

I don't think that she should release ballads just because it's christmas. It's a christmas single solely because it's released on christmas + it will deliberate all the "ayu plays it safe" complaints. Also the song with m-flo might be a bit of a boundries puher if it's really a dancefloor track, m-flo wouldn't help produce it if it's not up to date since Verbal really likes up to date music. We will see.

"Intented for the dancefloor" sounds definitely promising. I think Feel the love would be complimented by a heavier/edgier dance track, since as a stand alone it can fall a bit flat for some but pairing it up with a contrasting bold track could bring out it's quality as a romantic, lighthearted dance track.
