BUT this is the configuration for sports events, that means for concerts we might have a larger number of seats. But the difference proportion between them may not change.

13,291 is the total number of seats if all seats are used. For concerts a large chunk of seats are not used because of the space the stage takes up. I'd wager maybe 9,000 seats at ayus yoyogi shows? Somewhere around there.

There is no comparison with Tokyo dome. It's definitely more than 55,000. Sporting events just use the stands, but concerts at the Tokyo dome take up the entire arena floor. But one side of the stands doesn't get used because of the stage so perhaps it evens out.

you forgot to add the arena floor to Yoyogi '--'

truehappiness 5th November 2013 06:17 AM

12,000 (12,400?) is the number they usually use for Yoyogi's audience total for Ayu shows on news programs.

brener 5th November 2013 07:31 AM

^

that would be a good estimated number

I was counting the arena floor. :) a large chunk of seats are taken up by the stage and stand seats on the far side are not used

I would recommend that you go for the 29th or 31st dates though. From past experience, she tends to cut down 1-3 songs on the 2nd last date to prepare for the actual CDL.

Does anybody knows whether the TA tickets comes with the member's name printed on it? And are the dates for payment and ticket collection on a different day? If so, when is the dates for the ticket collection?
Thanks!
Thinking of going for my 1st ever CDL!

i would love to, but I got to go back to Nagoya on the 31st so I could welcome the new year with my family. And my dad wi definitely kill me if i'll miss it LOL. anyway is it true that she cuts a couple of songs on the 2nd day? Well, i don't really mind it. I just want to rock my work for a couple of minutes for Surreal~evolution~Surreal if there would be.

~angel*ayumi~ 7th November 2013 02:24 PM

@kinix
Yes there is member name printed on TA ticket, but noone at the entrance asked me for my TA card or ID card @ HLS Tour

Yes, they have your TA name printed on it.

As for payment and ticket collection, my friend was in Japan at the time, and I think you pay for it by a certain date, then you go in on a different day and pick up the tickets from one of those payment booths in 7eleven, but I'm not 100% sure.

kinix 7th November 2013 02:44 PM

Thanks for the info Earth_maiden & ~angel*ayumi~ =)
Hoping to roll for the tickets and travel to Japan on the 30th >.<
Have to find middleman to help me with the payment and collection but some part of me will be wondering if I'll get a good seating and wouldn't want any trust issue with the middleman ^^ name printed is just fine

Gustavopc 7th November 2013 03:09 PM

Can't wait for the ignored songs on A BEST LIVE to pop up in this setlist :lech I can almost smell it being titled COUNTDOWN LIVE 2013-2014 ~A REST LIVE~ or even ~A REST OF A BEST~

Earth_maiden 7th November 2013 03:27 PM

@kinix: if you purchase on YAJ by Noppin, they won't ship your ticket to your home country, but they will ship it to your hotel in Japan. That's what happened when I bought my Maaya Sakamoto on YAJ. There was no problem with that, when I arrived in Ikebu the staff has my parcel/ticket waiting for me. :yes

@Gustavopc I wouldn't hold your breathe, Ayu is pretty unpredictable when she wants to be. :)

~angel*ayumi~ 7th November 2013 03:38 PM

Yup ship to your hotel should be no problem^^
I got my HLS TA tickets via Celga. They did everything for me, I just gave them them the site and my TA data (as my membership runs through them anyways) The tickets arrived at Celga ap. 2 weeks before the concert if I remember right, so they send it to my hotel along with other stuff I had lying arround in their warehouse and everything was fine^^
But I think next time I will take another way to get ticktes, as I have a good friend now who has many friends in japan^^

God_ayu 8th November 2013 05:42 PM

Pre-sale ticket balloting starts today (11/9).

Yep, the last couple of years the 2nd day has been shorter.

@kinix - The tickets get mailed to your address (in Japan) about a week before the concert.

truehappiness 9th November 2013 08:41 AM

She does usually take a few songs out which is weird. I guess it's because they're working on timing things for the final show.

moi-meme-moitie 9th November 2013 01:24 PM

OMG I just won 2 tickets with Team Ayu account for the December 30th date!!

The only problem is with my boyfriend we are only going to be in Japan starting from December 22nd. I need to find a way to pay at a local 7/11 counter before Nov 14th...

Can anyone here help? I will manage to transfer the money from France...

ayuuk 9th November 2013 01:25 PM

I am going for both TA and A-Tickets' lottery...

Have people done so before? When they announce the results, you can pay whichever ticket/date you prefer, right?

Pieces_of_SEVEN 9th November 2013 05:17 PM

Good luck to you guys! The ones who I like anyway...lol. This is still so far away! I'm going to be anticipating the set list for weeks!

YUKARI 11th November 2013 12:54 PM

Hi guys! As I am a TA member, I applied for tickets to CDL. And I won pair tickets for 29th and 30th shows. Unfortunately I am not in Japan right now, so if you are in Japan and want to go to show, I can give you a code.

One ticket for 30th is already ordered by one guy, so if you want to buy the second ticket for 30th, please write me ASAP! Tickets for 29th are still available.

ayuuk 11th November 2013 02:00 PM

^Just sent you a PM for the 12/29 ticket. Thanks!

Earth_maiden 11th November 2013 02:32 PM

Wish I was going next year. But I'll be there for CDL14-15!!! :luv2

God_ayu 11th November 2013 03:47 PM

I have applied for ballot through 7-11 ticket pia and A-ticket. Hoping to be able to receive good news on the 22nd nov when the result is out. :D

I gt a pair of 31st tickets from lottery ^^! So looking forward to it! who else attending on this date :D

Kouyou 12th November 2013 02:50 PM

I'm sure many people have asked this question so I'm sorry if I'm being redundant, but if I am not a member of Team Ayu, how can I purchase the tickets? I currently live in Japan so that is not an obstacle for me.

SunshineSlayer 13th November 2013 06:35 AM

The general lottery just started a few days ago. Avex has its on ticket site - a-ticket live. Register there and you can enter the lottery.

Kirshwasser 13th November 2013 06:45 AM

just wondering, how do u purchase more than two tickets ?

Is the term LOTTERY here same as "ON SALE"? I'm really confused with this.

No. Lottery is like having a chance to win the ticket. However, in this case, when you win, you'll have to pay for it. You just win a chance to buy the tickets ^^

Yea 31st is the most popular.

By the way you and 3 other friends are going?? That's really cool. I hope to find a friend to go with me but so far no one's interested.

R u going on the 31st ? Lets go together :), provided i win the tickets haha

SunshineSlayer 14th November 2013 09:34 AM

I don't know if I've always had good luck or if its just not that difficult to get tickets these days, but the last few years I've always gotten tickets through the lottery with no problem. I don't go on the 31st though, so that helps. :)

Earth_maiden 14th November 2013 12:32 PM

Last year I went to the 29th with one of my close friends, then I went to the 31st alone. And I have to say, even though I had an amazing time at both concerts, it was a little bit more fun on the 29th being with someone else. On the 31st I sat next to this single Japanese man who was about 40, and he wouldn't stop screaming AYU!!! at every chance he got. I wanted to yell at him but I didn't want to be rude... :headache

Kouyou 14th November 2013 12:37 PM

Here's a good question, how does one get home (or back to their place of stay) from the concert? Especially on New Year's? Won't the cabs be swamped?

Earth_maiden 14th November 2013 01:05 PM

^The trains run late on the 31st, because hundreds of thousands of Japanese are going to shrines to say their new year's prayers (called Hatsumode). I left the arena at 1am, was stuck in the crowds for at least 90 minutes, possibly 120 minutes, then caught the Yamanote line back to Ikebukuro. I didn't get to my hotel until nearly 4am. I've tried to block that part of the night out because it was pretty awful.

So my advice is, if you go to the 31st show, leave when the final song starts, or even before, so you're not stuck in sardine like conditions for 2 hours. Seriously, you'll be so squished against random people, its uncomfortable and embarrassing. :dead2

I've been to 3 CDLs on the 31st and it took me an hour to get home to the hotel from there, and I lived near Akihabara! The crowds are big for sure but you are always moving....

Earth_maiden 14th November 2013 02:00 PM

^There was about 20 mins where I didn't move at all, and was squished against two random males. They only had the single front gate open, and it honestly took me about two hours to get out of Harajuku. About 90 mins inside the arena gates, then another half an hour lining up to get on the train to get to Ikebu. That was my crappy experience. :shrug

TeamAyu2004 14th November 2013 03:11 PM

Wish I could go!!!
Loved the concert I went to during the summer!

owlflight 14th November 2013 07:10 PM

I want to go! I have too much going on next month to plan any sort of trip. Maybe next year's CDL... who wants to go with me!

Kouyou 15th November 2013 01:09 AM

Oh man. Would it be better to go on the 29th or 30th then? Do the trains run late on those days?

Earth_maiden 15th November 2013 03:52 AM

^They don't, but the concert finishes around 10 or 10:30pm, and the trains usually stop around 1am I think, so you'd have plenty of time. :yes On the 29th of CDL12-13 she sang Ivy, so if you go on the 29th you might get to hear something different to the final set list.

truehappiness 15th November 2013 04:00 AM

The 29th always seems to have one or two extra songs that get scrapped.

Thanks! :D Is it the same scenario during arena tours too? I'm recently thinking of joining TA for the sake of securing tickets with no hassle but now i'm worried. I've always been asking my friend to get tickets for me but next time i wanna do it myself. :(

Does it mean that joininh TA won't give u 100% possibility of securing tickets?

YUKARI 15th November 2013 05:16 AM

I remember that I went to karaoke after CDL's NY show. and stayed there until 6 am. at 6 am trains were absolutely free, so I didn't have any troubles. the thing is that my friends went to karaoke at 11 pm while I was at the concert so I just joined them.

Yep, that's one reason why I always go on the 29th or 30th. The 31st is too crazy. Even on a normal night, getting out of Yoyogi is a pain and can take a while. Where its situated is not ideal for crowds. And then considering one of the most famous temples in Japan is right across the street? Forget about it on New Years.

Here's a tip btw, if you walk the opposite direction, you will hit Shibuya station in about 10 minutes. ;) That station is crowded too, but not as bad as Harajuku after a concert.

Kouyou 16th November 2013 10:10 AM

I think, u have to choose which concert is your first priority, second and third. Then u choose for how many ticket (2 maximum). Then it will take you to billing page, and u must have japan credit card in order to proceed

Really? Like everytime? :D it made me feel better. Haha I was convinced that being a TA member makes everything easier when it comes in getting tickets. By how much percentage can the possibility of winning in the lottery be?

Earth_maiden 18th November 2013 12:18 PM

When I balloted last year I went for two tickets on every date and I only got one set of tickets, which were on the 29th. It's really just down to luck.

brener 18th November 2013 06:42 PM

what do you guys think ayu will perform?
main tracks from LOVE again or other songs from that poll we voted?

Livey~ 18th November 2013 06:52 PM

^ I don't know what to expect.
Three days like last year..
Uhm.. Maybe instead of singing a different song during encore this time she'll change parts of the setlist during the three shows? :mischief
Who knows.. It'd be cool, but.. knowing that, if that happens, we will never have the chance to see all the different performances, I feel bad. :tipsy

brener 18th November 2013 06:54 PM

i think she'll only change the encore section...
i guess we'll have the singles from LOVE again (hopefully SAKURA and Ivy) and some tracks from that poll.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 18th November 2013 10:49 PM

Aren't the CDLs known for their setlists being out of the ordinary? So I think we'll be surprised.

marty 18th November 2013 11:33 PM

Yes, I love deeply her CDL tracklists! (I'm still not over the beautiful Disco-munication part from last year, genius) So, one thing I can say is that some songs won't disappear (SEASON, MY ALL, evolution/SURREAL, etc.), but she'll surprise with other stuff for sure!

truehappiness 21st November 2013 11:11 AM

Rather than SAKURA and Ivy, and songs that she's done during A BEST LIVE or CDL 2012-2013, I'd rather more obscure songs, or songs that she hasn't performed in a while. HELLO, HANABI ~episode II~ during a CDL would be epic.

Still praying for something similar to PCDL since its her anniversary. But I'm pretty certain PCDL started an hour earlier than the other CDLs. >_<

Ah, thank you so much! How do they get my address, though? I am using a code given to me by another person who won them in the lottery.

Any idea when the tickets will be made available to the general public? No announcement yet right :/

ayuuk 23rd November 2013 03:43 PM

ayuuk 23rd November 2013 03:44 PM

Just get to know from a Japanese fan that generic tickets will be out on 14 Dec, so guess theres still chance? :D

God_ayu 24th November 2013 03:29 PM

Generic tickets are probably even harder to get.

Balloting via Eplus is still available. For 12/29 and 12/30 only.
