Actually the sales aren't weird, they're great instead. It's pretty common to numbers go down by the beginning of the week due to the new releases, and go up during the week if it's presenting some stability, and it is. :)

It will surely hit 30k mark!

by the way, Yuming sold 60k with her new studio album on the debut week, pretty amazing!! i guess ayu still can hit 80k with her next studio album on its debut week.

Actually it's a bit problematic comparison because yuming is having a kind of a "second peak". She released a best album (that covers a lot of hits) that sold around 450,000 and her song hikouki gumo is a hit and has a hit anime movie (from Spirited Away studio Ghibli) tie-in so she had a big hit and good promo for it and for her.

ayu doesn't have a great hit with a great tie-in and promo around her and it so =P

the DVD didn't chart on the weekly rankings and it sold less than 870 copies... mostly due to the fact that we had 22 new releases on top 30

We finally have a number for those two missing weeks ^^
according to baidu/oricon the final numbers for the DVD are 30,134 copies sold, it means that the DVD sold 1,173 copies between its two final weeks on charts :D DVD and BD together makes 40,401 copies sold :)

The sales seem pretty good for the times but what is it about JE DVD releases that can sell several 100k? Even Ayu at her peak sells 100k+ at the most.
