I've the feelings she made the rock & ballad songs with her Japanese team since some time because she said several time that she recorded news songs and now she will make the electro part with US producers/DJ etc... I hope these electro songs will be original and not just something generic just for the sake of using well known producers ...

I feel like we might get some love songs which speak of her hopelessly longing for this to be the end to her search for love. Like a song which struggles with issues of feeling guarded (verses depressive and longing) and chorus optimistic, light, confident and airy. I think this type of contrast would make for a great song. Kind of similar to the feeling Kumi's IN THE AIR gives off during the chorus. Like despite all the darkness, I'm confident you are my true love. That everything I've been through, the sadness I've encountered, the feelings of failure... You are the reason it didn't work out. That would be the chorus and the verses like I said would be the sadness.

Party Queen had an totally different approach and i needed six months to actually grasp the meaning of everything,since i was in a different state of mind. I can't wait enough for the new album but it's always so nice when in between Ayu's announcements for the new stuff I always revisit her previous stuff. Sorry for the looon post |

I don't see a plausible reason for producing albums in collaboration with DJs. In my opinion DJs have to refrain from wasting original studio albums; they'd do a much better job for the remix albums. Do not contaminate the studio versions... please.

Some other tidbits: - he was a football player - he paints/draws/designs and is pretty good - he reported for Outdoor Nation at one point and is really active in lots of outdoor activities - he is kind of a part of a... frat party-ish video with beer pong/alcohol/etc. on Vimeo and YouTube (I assume they will get deleted eventually) - he went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before transferring to UCLA, I'm assuming - he has quite a few sak yant Buddhist tattoos on his back... like his entire upper back has those tattoos He's changed quite a bit in the time since his undergrad(?) years, it seems. Most of what we can find out is because that journalism professor posted their students' work on G+. |
