Baby Kairi was born July 17, 2012. I only remember because July 17 happens to be my favourite day of the year. I can't explain how shocked I was when his birthday was announced.

With that Taiwan performance Kuu again proved why she is the best live performer from Japan. Those report clips and two fancams that I have seen were really good. Even with that simple stage Kuu slays and shines on a complete different level compared to others imo+Her setlist is awesome. I really don't mind HOTEL and LEGEND LIVE songs missing at all though Kimi Omoi's live performances would be awesome. :D

Yeap, her energy on stage is certainly a whole other level higher than others
Loved the outfit and I wish she had performed something from HOTEL but the setlist is quite different than the usual so I'm happy

oh my gosh THANK YOU! I went to the show on the 3rd with a couple girlfriends and we had such a great time, but somehow I never got around to tracking down the dvd, I can't wait to watch it tonight--thanks again!

They had the lyrics up during Imagine in Chinese and I was just crying my eyes out ;__;

I'm disappointed with Touch Down performance, I was hoping it'll be the highlight of the show but it was treated as merely filler, instead of sexy performance there was no thought in it at all (car park simulated street dance is my best guess), choreography was scarce and the lighting almost nonexistent (let's go to basement with a flashlight), it was like LOL but minus all the effects and cool stuff. I wouldn't mind if I didn't love this song this much, I was expectig blue lights, sexiness (high ponytail for some reason) and different outfit :p

I just watched the interview and I'm speechless. I mean..... the whole thing just looked a bit off. Especially the stage, that stage its too small. So because of the stage size some performances looked a bit crammed. despite that, the first and second half were good. then the segment of crack the bass stared and it all went to hell. except for dreaming now and loaded. The choreographies looked messy, her outfit looked like a flavor flav inspiration(with the huge jacket on), during LOL she didn't even know what to do on the stage on some parts, during U know she had boxers on??. I haven't even seen the whole concert and I don't like what I see. I love kuu but my god what happened to her. I guess every artist has a bad tour.

Damn, I have no time to watch her concert this week. I'm too busy. :'<

Imagine is totally strong as well.
With TOUCH DOWN I like the atmoshpere, the idea really works with the song. Though it is overall just not an ideal song to perform live, cause of all those vocal layers and effects in the song - it doesn't translate too well sung live.

Gonna wait for the BluRay to watch the rest in full.

I can agree with the stage being very small and not that grand / breathtaking, but on the other hand I liked how close she got to fans in some songs. But yeah, I prefer bigger halls, at least for the dvd she could chose one bigger stage. DVD/BR are from the same date as the tv version, right?

The only thing Kuu doesn't do and would be nice is performance with band members, like Ayu does with Yo-chan.

Also did she invite fans to the stage during this tour or did she skip that?

She invites them during XXX and it was fun because the screens had "who's the bad girl?"

And a boy and a girl just sits there with Kuu in between...doing stuff :laugh

Well, she and the dancers are the stars, so I don't see why doing that. Anyway, she usually does that when she's in the last section of the concert, not sure if she did this time.

I like those small halls, people have to remember that if the stage is small = she doesn't walk much and is able to do more thing than just singing. This is the main problem with concerts like FANTASIA, she's just walking around and singing.

Highlights: That mermaid princess outfit is soooo pretty! So much better than last year' outfit for the ballad section; the urban section outfit isn't as awful than I was expecting; TOUCH DOWN performance is so cool, love the fact that she isn't trying to emulate the PV; the x-ray effect on LOL.

The concert is better than I expected, just disapointed with some songs: Let's show tonight is already a short song, and she sings only half of it...; Rock Your Body with no choreography; the choreography of LOADED is awful, good God. haha

If Kuu started to perform more with band members, haters will call her a Ayu copycat so no, I just want her to be as she is these days. She isn't really a rock star anyway so why should she behave like one on stage? :p

It's interesting, how heavily Kuu's featured on MTV since last year.
Pretty much everything from interviews, lives and stuff is airing there.
Maybe it's their way to cater a broader and younger audience before her 15th anniversary starts. Who knows.

I wonder who Kuu's target audience is? I assume women like her, young, new, "hip" mothers.

Young woman, probably. We see a couple of guys and kids during her concerts, but it's minority.

She's rehearsing with the band now, I see a new concert coming. This 15th Anniversary is going to be a busy year.

She has an event on the 28th at the Osaka Castle. She's rehearsing for that probably.

LOVE Dance in the Rain. Has this really nice sound, like really mature and yet fresh.

I didn't liked the whole HOTEL single and SO FEVER also didn't impressed me, but Dance in the Rain sounds great so far! I hope we get it in full soon!
