Just finished the show. She does sound surprisingly good in some songs, like Duty and Warning, but others like Happy Ending and Last Minute were completely butchered. That said, the new arrangement of immature was nice, and I'm 100% ready for her to phase out this "exotic" circus arrangement for Duty lol.

Also recently had the chance to watch the NHK Songs performances - now THAT was a great vocal performance, especially in Seasons.

maxikot 11th August 2015 01:24 PM

I am in the process of watching the whole thing now and i must say that i hate lost in trance interlude. It's a weak musical break but i could live with it if they sang in japanese and some other lyrics. When i heard, you are the sunshine i am the sunrise blablabla, wanted to hide myself. Really i think if they sang in japanese would be better.

AyuGAME 11th August 2015 03:26 PM

WARNING performance is so amazing and powerful...

I think Ayu dance's movement is getting better...her facial expression is golden as well

Yoake 11th August 2015 05:08 PM

The show is amazing. I'm sad that I won't be able to buy the dvd when it"ll be released.

The new arrangement for Duty is really amazing. If only they could release a live album with the songs that was re-arranged *.*

The 1love performance is always as great as that the CDL's one. WARNING is also great with the screen.

Diary is really beautiful. Is it out on Itunes or is it available somewhere?
WALTZ is sooo funny.

I would like to add something about Princess. When she was in duet with Peco I never thought about her more than : she is just a good backing vocalist. However now that Timmy is there, I started to think that she's amazing. I hope Ayu'll do more Timmy/Princess duo in her concert.

attractive nausea 11th August 2015 07:25 PM

I just watched the concert, i only skipped forgiveness~progress part because i found it boring during CDL already, other than that it was soooo great, i like her outfits better here, the screens during 1LOVE aren't exactly the same either.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 11th August 2015 07:26 PM

I can't wait to get this on blu ray! my names WOMEN, immature, Duty, WARNING, Secret, Lady Dynamite, 1LOVE, so many great performances!

Mirrorcle Monster 11th August 2015 11:28 PM

I just listened to the mp3 rip but didn't actually watch it. But OMG I got goosebumps listening to the audio files. She is hitting some notes beautifully, Pride was absolutely gorgeous

Mirrorcle World talks about illusions. Circuses are full of illusions, things aren't as they appear. What's not to get?

Gustavopc 12th August 2015 05:34 AM

Man, I just finished watching the concert, and I don't know how to properly describe, but I feel kinda... tired? Some slow songs apart, the concert was full of lights, huge shiny colorful stage, tons of different outfits for the dancers, I felt lost during songs like Rule without knowing where to look at, and even at Anything for You there was a hell of a complex dance routine. And I love her rockish songs, but there were SO MANY of them I felt a bit dragged, even most of the upbeat songs were rockish like Lady Dynamite and GAME. Gosh, and it was like every single step from the dancers was part of a choreography, and the dance itself was also different from the usual, a lot of spinnings and arms going up, down, opening, closing, meanwhile there is someone flying on tissues and a guy rolling on a ball mAAAAANNN

I don't know if it was her intention to make the concert like this, but I could have enjoyed it more if it were a little simpler or if there were more simpler performances in between :S

But when it comes to ayu it was one of her best concerts in ages tho. AWESOME vocals, looking gorgeous, nice outfits, well executed choreo and man didn't I mention how awesome her vocals were? She was so on point for Duty and A Song for xx, and I was kinda worried cause these two are older songs. progress and Mirrorcle World were also incredible imo.

Overall I feel like this will be a concert I'll listen to more than I watch to.

njanjayrp 12th August 2015 07:44 AM

Everything is a part of the choreography^^

SummonerXI 12th August 2015 08:30 AM

I'm not too crazy about Wowow cutting songs from the setlist for the TV version. I think I'll wait for the bluray version to come out.

I don't often watch TV versions of Ayu's concerts. (I think last time I did was Future Classics.) Does Wowow often cut songs out for the TV airing?

truehappiness 12th August 2015 09:08 AM

Hm, seems there was more to this sort of setlist than usual. According to a TA message, Ayu didn't sing Diary because it is a song from "all" to the "me" that is no longer around, and that is also why it comes after WARNING.

And as stated before, the Mirrorcle World costumes are the same because the show was a 'dream' or in a dream world.

WOWOW cameras are bad, maybe when you see the blu-ray with the incredible production you'll change the opinion.

Gustavopc 12th August 2015 12:57 PM

^ Didn't think of it that way, that's a hoping I'll keep hahaha When the setlist came out I couldn't wait to see the concert, and maybe that also made me have higher expectations than I should. But yeah, let's wait and see :P

I felt this way after watching the WOWOW version of CDL 09/10 and then I saw the Bluray version, and it was just so much better.

Uknow! 12th August 2015 02:44 PM

For example 1LOVE wowow version vs 1LOVE Bluray/DVD the same happens to Game.
Normally in the TV version they don't focus ayu's face and they show too much a general view.

stickyrice 12th August 2015 04:41 PM

I just finished watching and wow that was one heck of a show! Everything was on point IMO. The costumes, the vocals, the stage and the overall theme. It was really enjoyable! I may buy this on blu ray when it's released so I can experience it on the big screen!

holy_arrow 12th August 2015 04:43 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong. This tour, Ayu didn't prepare the balloons to the fans. Usually, the balloons will fly down at the last chorus of Who

rainbow_smile 12th August 2015 06:10 PM

^ yup, they had paper hearts instead :)

~angel*ayumi~ 12th August 2015 07:11 PM

Balloons are only at CDL.
Arena Tours have those flitter things, and they came down during MY ALL.
CdM had those additional paper hearts.

Yup, like 100% sure, I even caught me one

They cut some songs from the DVD, so maybe that's why :)

~angel*ayumi~ 12th August 2015 07:50 PM

Ah ok^^
strange that monochrome donīt have them in their database o.o
I think they only have the "normal" balloons in their database, not special ones like the heart shaped you caught.

attractive nausea 12th August 2015 08:00 PM

Weird but i liked the TV version of 1LOVE for CDL better because the screens during that performance are really important so i liked to see them all the time and not miss anything.

~angel*ayumi~ what is that monochrome website you are talking about?

~angel*ayumi~ 12th August 2015 08:14 PM

Best Ayu database site^^

Added english subs to WARNING, Out of control and Immature. Here:
WARNING http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31...ubtitles_music
Out of control http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31...ubtitles_music
Immature http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x31...ubtitles_music

I just had a random thought that WARNING could make perfect song for Death note, theme and all works just perfect for it :D

lunichi 13th August 2015 01:42 AM

WARNING and the new immature are the best performances.

SummonerXI 14th August 2015 04:33 AM

I finally got around to watching, and I have to say it's definitely not one of my favorites in recent years. The set list wasn't that great and my mind felt pretty numb during My Name's WOMEN and the slew of songs after. I kinda perked up at A Song for XX but the rest of it I was really having trouble not falling asleep. Plus a lot of the visual effects gave me a headache.

YukiUsagi 14th August 2015 05:11 PM

There's also too many dancers and acrobats on stage :tired. There's always too much going on and it takes away from the songs. It's a mess really. :yes

I'm ok with dancers for most of the time. One part they were disturbing for me was during "Anything for you". Just Ayu on stage, and in the centre stage would be perfect. Also their dancing there was too aggressive for the song. Found it tacky.

I agree. It was a very busy stage. And kind of ironic really, because I recently just watched the documentary for Countdown Live 2007-2008, and she cut some of her dancers from evolution for this very reason. So it's not like she's ignorant to this kind of thing.

Here's to hoping the new TA Tour turns out better.

njanjayrp 14th August 2015 10:40 PM

You guys, this tour was imo among her best. It's the best one out of the 3 I attended.

Having many people on stage does not really distract you during the show, as it sort of happens in the background. I guess it's different when you are watching the footage.

If you are not liking the visuals, a lot of things going on and at the same time it bores you when she is just standing and singing, maybe concerts are not your thing?

Anna.L 15th August 2015 02:35 AM

Personally the show is AMAZING!

Ayu knows how to slay the audience

But when i see the tv version, i had problems with the setlist

Immature could be the opening
She would do Walk on the same way and go into anything for you, forget forgiviness

And i really wanna know, why they keep holding ayu in my names women? cant she stand alone in the chair?

luna7996 17th August 2015 11:50 AM

I haven't watched it. Want to wait for the dvd but I couldn't resist watching immature on youtube. I love that song too much and the performance was fantastic. Even if the elephant was pretty useless. Lol.

Why won't they announced a dvd release day already!?!?! I need this!

Maybe she lost some sense of balance because of her ear issues? Or she just doesn't like moving on a chair with heels on, i know i'd need someone to hold me too because i'd be afraid of falling :dead2

I was just saying this the other day. The tour was spectacular, and we both enjoyed it more than A BEST LIVE. I know I complained about the set list at first, but in the end, it worked out very nicely!

It's not that I didn't like the visuals, it's that they made me physically ill (you know, with all the flashing lights and lasers and such. I don't watch EDM shows for this reason). There's a difference.

Secondly, me not liking this one particular concert of her 15 years worth of concert tours does not mean "concerts are not my thing" and I would appreciate it if you kept your passive aggressive remarks to yourself. Me not liking this one particular concert is not a personal attack on you. It's literally the only Ayu concert that I haven't crazy, obsessively loved after watching it. Nobody is more surprised by this than I am.

Compared to NL, RnRc, HLS and FtL this one had the least crazy light effects. Not too many colours used either. So no idea what you're saying really. It's fine if you don't like it, but the reasons you stated make no sense. This is not personal...

That's fine if you can't understand, but just don't go and say things like "maybe concerts aren't my thing" when you don't even know me. I've watched Next Level, Rock n Roll Circus, and Hotel Love Songs recently, and none of the lighting effects made me feel ill. It doesn't really matter if you think Cirque de Minuit's lighting effects were tame compared to those concerts which I love to pieces. It could have even been a specific color combination or a strobe effect. There's no way of knowing. All I know is I what I felt physically after watching.

Can't really say for sure how Premium Showcase was because I only watched it once when the bluray first came out. It was a while ago.

Key ~eternal tie~ 20th August 2015 08:02 PM

I've finally watched the concert from YouTube... I absolutely loved Anything for you, and I was worried it might drag on being a long song. It was one of my favourite performance of the concert :)
