This cover art is garbage.

The more I look at it the more I like it (the blending is well done, pics are great, even that frame looks ok), but it looks good only in bigger resolution. So yeah, first impression is most important when you want to sell things, so it's a no from me :no

It's funny, because the cover actually fits perfectly with the circus theme, and yet I can't bring myself to like it...

The cover fits perfectly to the title of the tour. "Circus". It has all the elements of it. Even though the tracklist is not that circus-y (no Sexy little things, Eyes, Smoke, Magic e.g.) -> But a big YES from me :-)

I think she want to show it that this concert is really all about circus and she choose to highlight the variety on it. But well..the concept is there but I don't think the execution is perfect, I mean she is living with profesional and she paid them to do the best work. I can't say I can make better blend that what we see now, but I believe profesional can do better work. The worst part is the upper right side...that's kinda bad..

Countdown Live 2005-2006 A had the same concept, so I don't think this is as bad as people say. In fact, aside the ugly frame and inaccesible font, its a nice one.

I like the cover for this AT... Its almost the same style like almost all her Dvd... So i'm okay with it.. For me the important things is the contents..

I don't think that this cover is the worst one ever. When I saw this cover, I promptly said "WOW" because It is very beautiful to me. My hesitance on purchasing this DVD has been gone :D

After this cover it's crystal clear why her team took so many ideas from fanmade graphics...

Others have touched on the cover art already, but yeah... The fact that it's a collage isn't the problem. it's LITERALLY everything else, haha. It's a poorly done collage, for one thing - nearly every collage she's had has been better than this one. The font is unreadable and has that outdated embossing effect on it.

The thing that's probably most infuriating is that the tour is SO BEAUTIFUL, and the cover makes it look cheap & tacky. Because it tries to emphasize the coolness of EVERY performance, you don't notice the coolness of any of them. It's the DVD cover equivalent of a used car ad with starbursts on every single car, and every price is the same HUGE size, cuz they're trying to get you to look at all of it. There's no hierarchy.

...Actually no, the thing that's MOST irritating is that the poster artwork used on the tour merchandise is so freaking great, so amazing, and could have been used here with just a few minor layout changes and it woulda looked fabulous.

Honestly though, the cover pretty much accurately captures what the show was like -- cluttered and over the top.

I would have thought the cover was perfectly nice if it was just the collage, because it would be like many other covers from her concerts (sure, it's not the best collage edit, but her DVD covers never had great collage works to begin with). It's the tacky frame and typography that kills it.

the choice of using this fan design logo is already a big NO. Perhaps ayu was drunk and chose that design.

I sometimes seriously think how, at least nowadays, she is not recognized for being a great vocalist. Yes it wasn't her niche at first, it was mainly the lyrics, good production and image, but on these times she has few of the best vocal performances in jpop (not all the time of course, sometimes it's the opposite) but she really deserves some kudos for sounding like she sometimes does.

I mean, I know there's more to the concert because I've been creeping around way too much, but imagine for people who are not so much into her DVDs but might be interested, this video screams "oh look, that's the concert she's been giving for the past 6 years! We still added a glittery elephant so that you know where your money goes"

Still I agree the digest does not make justice for the concert, but I guess they chose the performances based on the songs themselves rather than the performance that was going on. Visual-wise, GAME, WARNING and maybe even Anything for you/forgiveness would have been better choices.

Well, despite her vocal progress, she is sooo far away from being great vocalist. We heard unedited fan recording of this particular show... Even after editing it's not flattering. Happy ending is especially bad, considering how good it was during other dates. I'll never understand why they can't use audio of different date when she did better.

As for the cover... Well, the only thing I hate about it is that god awful font. They should have just used Impact instead. Then it would hace been more readable through those colors.

I kinda agree the digest was underwhelming. I mean, they mostly showed parts that are similar to things she's done before and nearly none of what's actually new and different about this tour. I understand that it's important to show some of those key things that everyone know and love about Ayu's lives, but they made the video in a way that the tour looks no different than any other concert she's done before, and we know that's not how the tour actually was...

We have realized how good she was in Music Station already. Although it wasn't excellent but it was good and emotional enough ...

Since when Ayu has to absolutely do something different from her CDL? Is there an official rule that says : "all arena tours must absolutely different from CDL"? If bitch liked her cdl so much, let her make the following arena tour an "improved CDL", she worked a lot on GAME air performance so it would be waste to only use it for 3 shows. She's offering us 1 arena tour per year + 1 cdl per year so i don't see why you would come and bitch about her recycling ideas, she's working hard enough for her fans already.

^ I wouldn't call something "recycled" when it's supposed to be the same thing to begin with... It's not a different concert, it's an extension of the same concert. The idea was never do a different concert where she happened to reuse some performances, it's supposed to be a continuation of the same concert with just some enhancements, so I wouldn't call it "recycling" per say.

I don't mind those similarities between CDLs and ATs because at least she doesn't use CDL setlist only for ATs. She has new performances in ATs along with CDL tracks. That would suck so much imo. :p

It's sad because you can clearly tell that this tour only did more damage to her already fragile voice. Just compare the CDL performance of Duty to the AT15 one. :/ Her voice is even more coarse now. I wish she would give herself a complete vocal break for some time before she starts recording and performing again.

Cause, if you want, you can make it a little game for yourself. "Are her vocals good? If they are... Imma get myself a treat and enjoy the show. Are her vocals bad? If they are... Imma get myself a bigger treat because I survived listening to it. Go me." Like. You never know which Ayu you're going to get and either way you can get something out of it. xD However. She is trying her hardest. I honestly feel just how much work she's putting into this and I enjoy that more than anything.

Posted this before but nobody saw it. I have to cancel my order for the TA ver of the bluray because I had an emergency and had to used the money for something else. Mu-mo doesn't have a cancel order button. You have to contact customer service for them to cancel and since I don't know any Japanese I need some help. I'm pretty sure mu-mo shows a warning message stating you cannot cancel orders when it asks you to confirm your order, but maybe if you send them a message explaining the situation they can allow you to cancel that particular order? Since they do have the international section maybe you can try sending the message in English. It's worth the try...

I remember someone once saying on AHS they got an order cancelled at mu-mo, but I'm not sure who neither when, I only recall it was via email/messages with them...
