Love songs is an amazing album and I love the way it sounds, it's pretty much the best that Testsuya Komuro has ever done. However, I agree that she shouldn't have worked with him so often after that. His compositions don't sound as good anymore.

It's funny how TK has become Ayu's go-to default producer/composer/arranger now because at the time of her debut there was a lot of buzz about Ayu being one of the few female pop singers to have no association with TK as he pretty much dominated the top 10 with his endless producer/composer/lyric credits across Avex and Sony acts.

I live for ayu+TK. I know I'm in the minority with that one but I love 90% of everything they've come up with since Love songs, still my all time favorite ayu album with several of my all time favorite ayu songs <3

But I also have to agree, that after Love songs, TK x Ayu wasn't that good for the majority of songs. So idk.

The thing is most of ayu x TK stuff ends up being safe, be it ayu, TK or both's fault, so it is hard for me to dislike these songs, but then it's been a while I've been surprised by them (Many Classic Moments might be one, waiting for the full thing). This said, I looooove Love songs and will always have a special place for this album in my memories (gosh, that sounded dramatic). So nowadays, hearing there'll be a couple of TK songs on an album excites me, but when if it's a single or a whole EP/LP I won't get that hyped...

He mostly does great compositions for her so I don't mind. He doesn't really arrange most of them, thus not in charge for how their sound (unless if he helps ayu with musical direction).

I loved the hell out of that video and song. I remember people hating in both and preferring Days to it, which is also a good song, but something about GREEN really stood out to me.

I'm fine with her using TK again. She's just doing her own thing, and that's all I care about.

Wow. Green is miles away better than Days. I don't recall her having a similar song like GREEN, whereas Days is just another of Ayu's winter songs. Don't get me wrong, I believe the latter is really catchy and magical especially near Xmas, but not as memorable.

Those videos weren't even controversial, I'll point you to the Sunrise/Sunset covers, Love Again album, and Bold & Delicious release so you can learn the meaningof the word.

Thing is, I don't waste my time here defending Ayu's honor 24/7 like you. You have interesting points, but for every one of them you have 30 defensive/sarcastic replies.

No one is wanting Ayu to answer shit, I'm not even sure where you pulled that from. Artists have a job, and that's to sell music. As controversial as GREEN could have been (I was in no international forum back then) ayu didn't have any social medias fans could reach her aside TA, did she? I recall people complaining on twitter when she brought JUNO and Urata on stage during some a-nation performances and THAT was harsh, and most recently the iconic case we all know... These I can assure were real overreactions from fans, no wonder why she ever wrote WARNING

First Avex didn't let JUNO perform (because of the JYJ issue) so she refused to end the concert which already brought a lot of controversy (staff complaining about the sudden change in the lineup and people saying she was being childish), then fans kept complaining and saying bad comments about Naoya to the point she had to post on TA about how sad that made her feel.

I think it's just an odd shot... I'm looking at other shots taken from similar angles, and her face is better lit here than it usually is when she does the selfie angle. It's making the area around her eyes look unusually light & the area between her nose & mouth looks smoother (like the lines from her nose to the corners of her mouth aren't as pronounced). Her face is also MUCH more relaxed than it ever is - like she's not smiling very widely, she's not doing big eyes, she's not doing anything silly... it's just a gentle smile and very bright, even lighting, which makes it look... unusual & unnatural XD We're used to her being much more animated, I think. :P
