Well, I'm not surprised this is #1, but I'm actually surprised that the Blu-ray sales are actually higher than the DVD sales! Looks like people are more interested into HD these days, and Blu-ray is HD media, since DVD isn't, and I have to wonder why we still sell singles/albums, Arashi and just about any other artist today, with DVDs, not Blu-rays... At least these big concert releases like this are available in high-definition Blu-ray, and the availability is becoming more common. After roughly ten years of existence of Blu-rays...?
(Almost forgot that the Blu-ray version actually costs the same as the DVD version, whereas in the past Blu-ray costs higher, reflecting why the sales numbers are lower than the past. But with the Blu-ray costing the same as DVD, and HDTV has become ubiquitous (then again there's good Blu-ray players for cheap today!), I think that may have been the reason why the Blu-ray sales count is higher than the DVDs, which we don't usually hear often.) |

Ahh - the PV is looking super nice! If anyone could just dance on top of an bridge & have that be entertaining for a music video...it would be Arashi. :laugh :P The outfits look kinda similar to what the guys wore, back on THE MUSIC DAY...but either way, are they looking so handsome or what?! (primarily/sorta looking at you, mostly, MatsuJun :luv2) I can't wait for the full video & to finally hear the full song, too. :)

Don't You Get It PV is stupid in a good way , at least ARASHI doesn't take themselves seriously in it although I could do without the foreigner girl in the PV as she's a distraction
Are You Happy? itself , so far I only listened to the new material once . I don't know if it's just me but I was bored with what was being offered & Don't You Get It is so far the only song that stood out (maybe that's why it got a PV ?) Solo wise , Ohno's 1 is the only 1 that's memorable . He's like a music glove , any music genre you throw at him , he can nail it but the rest , meh I don't know yet I need to listen to the album a few more times before I can make further comments but so far at least it's not as musically messy like Japonism |
