I HATE the styling on the DVD version (the boobs one).
The others are really nice though, CD only is my favourite!
I seriously hope they're also going to release the Zepp version of the AND Tour or I'm going to be really salty.

I love the contrast between the AND and DNA covers. AND was more in a fun style like a party and DNA is sophisticated and sexy. I hope that style will be reflective in the music, even though I know I shouldn't put expectations on music based off cover art.

Very exciting, loving the new covers. I do hope she adds more tracks to the album or at least a hidden track. Album seems abit short to me.

The report emphasizes the important message from her to her fans to live for yourself (that's the message of WHO btw).
She also talked about more private stuff than usual in her MCs, mentioning, that at home she's not talking as much and more listening to her son, which Kenji was shocked about (she calls him Ken-chan, cute).
I also know from someone who went, that she showed a picture of the two with her son in the middle and she told everybody that right now, her son wants to become a singer as well ( and she said that part in English, so maybe they try to learn more English together?).

It's originally from China. But it's not only popular in China and Japan, it is e.g. also here in Germany with teens (it made some headlines here, cause some girls were sexually abused there without them even realizing).

The Megumi no Hito trend is done by girls, but Kuu always was more popular with females with her strong woman image.

It's currently at #46 on iTunes and #62 on recochoku.

They could use that momentum to make her more popular with the public again, e.g. with singing Megumi no Hito at both shows she's announced for, coupling it with the info about her new album.

Megumi No Hito is up to #38 on iTunes and climbing! The video is also #4 on the music video chart! If Kuu and her staff are smart she'll perform it at her upcoming TV live on the 27th. Unless she is going to sing a new song from DNA, it's much more useful for her to perform Megumi No Hito while it has hype instead of Ai No Uta.

They called it a "Special Hit Medley" and she wore the outfit she posted yesterday ( the racing outfit), so I guess it might have been prerecorded.
She looked and sounded great and they were displaying the official Party lyrics with the mistakes in it, lol.

It was probably pre recorded, since most of PARTY's performance was recorded with a drone, which it was pretty fun! I don't think they would do a live broadcast from a drone, it could get messy very quickly if they had some connection issue.

She used her time very wisely, to be honest. haha She sang Ai no Uta, which is her most memorable song for the gp, she did PARTY to introduce people to her newest song, and also Megumi no Hito, in which she only sang the chorus, the only part that people are using for Tik Tok thing. Well done! And she looked goooorgeous ♥

Ai No Uta feels so Out of place in this performance imo. It would have been better to either just perform Part and Megumi no Hito or to choose another upbeat song.
Yeah sure Ai No Uta is a big hit of hers but together with these two songs it just doesn' feel right.
But Kuu looks so good in the video and her voice was great too

Anyway, if you're wondering how they took the picture together since Kumi wasn't there for the live portion of the festival, Mika's performance was also pre recorded. She did the "you at THE ARTIST" thing, with the white skirt with projections, which was very nice!

I just have to say that I'm loving seeing the DNA project getting build. It's nice that she's sharing that stuff not only with the FC now, but with everybody through Instagram.

I'm assuming it's for HAIRCUT, cause Kuu mentioned it yesterday on her stories, when her dancers were singing the song.
But of course she could also shoot both new PVs back to back, considering she usually only needs 1 full day to record a PV. Maybe they're going to be connected.

HAIRCUT is about identity, as far as I can understand the lyrics from the short version.
It's a bit hard with those vocoder effects in between
But would also make sense with the theme of the album and a nice continuation of the AND album theme.

I'm also hoping that she'll do a few TV performances to promote DNA like she did for W FACE. She should add a new version of Megumi no Hito as a bonus track on the album since people are going crazy about it. lol

I was watching again the TV Tokyo Ongakusai and a little before morning musume's performance they showed a bit of Maki's audition for the group. I wish Kumi was there live so we could have some interaction about that, since she was also auditioning to be part of the 3rd generation.

Megumi no Hito is at #107 on Japanese iTunes, I wish more TV shows invited her to perform Megumi no Hito. I guess it's safe to say that she'll perform it at a-nation this year.
