^ Lmao it's true

Golden Bomber even named their year end release new album Mou Kohaku ni Dashite Kurenai ie. They Won't Let Us On Kohaku Anymore :x

re(CORD) 5th week position & sales - #188 ; 324

Total 5 week sales - 15,692

http://tieba.baidu.com/p/6397249182

Corvina 18th December 2019 10:52 AM

Stable sales, almost the same position and amount as last week. Hope she can keep that.

It's so interesting to follow the market nowadays and see how many different ways of popularity there can be.
Little Glee Monster, who are definitely more popular with the general public than Kuu is right now (even being on Kohaku), sold pretty much the same first week with their new EP as Kuu did with re(CORD). Digital the same.

lovethatkuu&ayu 18th December 2019 12:32 PM

Best case scenario for the album was always around 17k, based on the first week of DNA. Worst case scenario were final sales around 14k, based on the first week of AND. That said, she has done what she needed to do. That was proving to be a solid and stable investment.

I'm not sure what to make of the current Japanese industry. With streaming and track equivalent numbers, it's hard to pinpoint what "popularity" means. Yeah, some groups sell well physically, but their streams and downloads tell another story too.

I personally think Oricon could do better on providing a clearer picture similar to how Billboard has done in the U.S. regarding the Hot 100 and 200 album charts.

This should be interesting as it reminds me of how also Golden Bomber organised their own version of Kouhaku after NHK stopped inviting them

I'm sure Momo Iro Uta Gassen will be less X rated unlike Golden Bomber's , lmao

Wait do you think Kuu stopped being invited in Kohaku?
I always thought it was her decision to stop doing TV show in new year to spend time with her family.

Glad she is that active this year :)
I hope she will give again a try and perform it on TV. Bored by Ai no Uta and not a fan of GOLDFINGER.

Get Up & Move and Twinkle is up. ♥

jiarongisme 19th December 2019 04:30 PM

I'm loving that she's slowly uploading the PVs. It's so nice to revisit the old PVs. Get Up & Move!! is still such a good song after so many years.

KarenPang 19th December 2019 04:32 PM

So pleased that Get Up & Move!! PV has been uploaded

I still have so many great memories towards Black Cherry , let alone Get Up & Move!! as back then I didn't know PVs were made for both singles and album tracks in Japan's context x)

Gustavopc 19th December 2019 04:35 PM

I know, I just don't think it's a good choice. XXX doesn't have and it fits better.

Sorry kaled kalil, the white bars are here to stay :laugh

Corvina 20th December 2019 04:19 PM

Interesting to see with all those uploads of old videos is that the most watched video after about a week and a half (205k views) is the promo video for her 20th Anniversary.
Looks like people are more interested in what she's currently doing instead of her old stuff?
Or more interested in her live performances.

thinkingoutloud89 20th December 2019 06:33 PM

^GOSH DDD is still one of my fav song + video. Dat pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ rub is everything.

Gustavopc 20th December 2019 08:58 PM

Yaaaas for DDD

And I can't wait for January, I remember some JAPONESQUE PVs had HD TV versions but since there was no BD release we never got everything in HD. Hope they uploaded them at least in 720p.

minkAYuko 20th December 2019 10:50 PM

^ I'm just glad wd have the PVs to share, I pretty sure the HD ones will be super HD... well hopefully!

hahaha I came to say the same thing!

kaled kalil 21st December 2019 01:02 AM

Hahaha yeah, you can't always wins. The quality looks great and the song + PV is still on my top 20 of her whole catalogue anyway.

For new fans this is as close as you can get of the "Kumi overload" that it was during December in 2005, with new songs every week.

---

I forgot to mention, now her youtube account has all her albums including some of the live albums that are not available on Spotify outside Japan (AND Tour)

https://www.youtube.com/user/KODAKUM...dd&shelf_id=12

Rich & Famous is still blocked outside Japan tho, but Got To Be Real isn't.

Corvina 21st December 2019 07:15 AM

Show Luo commented on Kuu's Twinkle PV post on Insta ("nostalgic") and Kuu commented under his comment that she wants to make a dance song collab with him next!
I do wonder if she's working on something collab related...

^ Haha well yes! xD todo bad it’s not on Spotify or for people outside Japan :/

Corvina 22nd December 2019 12:14 PM

Kuu is at a TV studio right now!
Probably filming something again.
She then recorded two TV happenings now we don't know of yet.
Music Station Super Live and the Momoiro Kohaku are live broadcasts, but one of those two could be for Melodix Premium.
Tho even for live shows certain performances can be pre-recorded.

https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/6...921/VBcELk.png

Her team also released another short backstage video from re(LIVE) tour:
https://twitter.com/KODAKUMINET/stat...39678216089602

Her manager shares here that Kuu is always listening to everyone's voices till the end backstage.
(that loud cheering here is probably when the arena tour info is displayed)

kaled kalil 22nd December 2019 07:52 PM

She's looking stunning lately! It's her wedding anniversary, it has been 8 years already!

Yes!
Kumi will perform a medley キューティーハニー/again at MelodiX in December 28th

Corvina 25th December 2019 11:49 AM

Melodix awards one present to a fan on Twitter and there they also revealed she's going to perform Cutie Honey and again.

Here's the tweet with Kuu's comment:
https://mobile.twitter.com/tx_melodi...70097373057024

Kuu will also be on TV today in the christmas special of the show 家、ついて行っていいですか?.
It's basically a making of the Premium Melodix year-end special it seems, with featuring famous musicians and their christmas.

So the first TV recording she did was for Melodix.

Btw. the show with the family meeting Kuu in Tokyo re-aired like 4 or 5 times over the year (fans were always posting about it on Twitter). Seems to be a popular episode.

Kuu mentioned some days ago in her stories, that the re(LIVE) dates in February are the last ones.

Kuu's yearly physical sales for 2019:
#289 album of the year with re(CORD) (15,368)
#73 music DVD of the year with DNA Tour (10,923)

Stay with me and Koishikute are both underrated. Stay with me in particular has one of her best vocal arrangements.

We finally get a performance of again! I wish she would perform it at Music Station Super Live, but as long as it isn't Ai no Uta LOL.

oaristos 25th December 2019 09:46 PM

Still she looked gorgeous, sounded good and it felt so nostalgic to see her performing Cutie Honey and Butterfly at Music Station, kinda felt like I was in the 2000s again. And as always, so great to see a positive reaction!

Shake It Up PV has been uploaded

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBvJfzV9afg

Still 1 of my favourite songs from the 12 Singles Project

kaled kalil 28th December 2019 01:47 PM

@Gustavopc Yeah, it's like she was too "classy" for the songs. haha

She was very focus on the vocals, she even did the Butterfly choreo wrong, but the overall performance was pretty nice. Even tho I would prefer for the performance be in the prime time section, just the fact that she was performing at Music Station again is something to be happy. I hope she's doing more performances there throughout the next year.

---
Forgot to mention about the quality of Shake It Up, it looks pretty nice! Now you can even notice the mistakes during the dance scene with the three Kumi, where her curly hair disappears.

lovethatkuu&ayu 28th December 2019 11:02 PM

She sounds great at the Premium Melodix year-end special!

I wonder if she was a bit tired or sick at Music Station Super Live, because the vocals there weren't quite as sharp.

kaled kalil 28th December 2019 11:07 PM

Maybe she was nervous? It has been a minute since the last time she performed there.

lovethatkuu&ayu 28th December 2019 11:13 PM

I think it was probably nerves too. I just watched the lives again, and she was definitely a bit nervous during Butterfly.

Corvina 29th December 2019 12:07 PM

What does anybody think of re(CORD) now?
Or what was the best thing this year regarding Kuu?

Personally I'm pretty obsessed with SHUTOUT and Rich & Famous.
I usually have one or two songs from each album I love, but with these two I reached a level I haven't for a longer time. I'm happy she put so much thought into the music.

Also there's a new performance format on Youtube called THE FIRST TAKE.
It features one artist per episode singing one song of their liking in one single take in a white studio.
I discovered the show with their 5th episode with LiSA.
They just released their 11th episode featuring Miliyah Kato.
Would love Kuu to be featured there within the coming year!

KarenPang 29th December 2019 12:38 PM

For me I don't like re(CORD) as much as I thought I might

The songs that weren't released digitally prior to re(CORD) , I didn't quite like them

I like CHANCES ALL from DNA but not Rich & Famous

again & Merry Go Round were good , real surprised how different Merry Go Round is in re(CORD) but in a good way

That's the problem when you release albums on an annual basis , it can't be a home run for all and that applies to all artistes

On the other hand , some of the songs Kuu released digitally this year , I like them a lot especially Summer Time

It's a real shame Summer Time had no PV made , would have loved to see a PV made for it , I don't mind a LIT part 2 for that

Party_King 29th December 2019 12:42 PM

re(CORD) is still growing on me. While I’m in love with STRIP and SHUTOUT, I dislike Merry Go Round and Put your hands up!!!. LLVL lost a bit of it’s magic for me, while GF19 has grown on me a lot... maybe I do like GF more than LLVL now. For the First three singles I liked Summer Time the most and Eh Yo the least. Now it’s the opposite - Summer Time seems a bit boring and Eh Yo seems a bit fresher for me. DO ME is still ranked really low.

I think I can rank them from favorite to least favorite like this:
STRIP > SHUTOUT > OMG (even if it sounds outdated) > GET NAKED > GOLDFINGER 2019 > Livin‘ La Vida Loca > Eh Yo > again > Rich & Famous (I don’t like CHANCES ALL) > DO ME > Summer Time > Merry Go Round > Put your hands up!!!

Corvina 29th December 2019 01:07 PM

Always so interesting to read different opinions!

Overall re(CORD) is a strong album for me.
Usually in the past there was also one song per album I couldn't stand (like WATCH OUT! on DNA, Wonderland on Kingdom, Joyful on TRICK...).
On re(CORD) I like every track.
My other faves are OMG and STRIP, both have great energy and atmosphere.
Sadly for プチョヘンザッ I still couldn't get used completely to the autotune. And for GET NAKED I need to be in the fitting mood with that dark melody.
Which is the great thing about Rich & Famous and SHUTOUT - the melodies hit me and feel pretty timeless.
The simple guitar melody in the bg of Rich & Famous is really soothing and reminds me of the Life is Strange games. Would be a fitting choice for an acoustic live rendition because of that (and I also like CHANCES ALL, just too simple in comparison- she could do a combined version).
The covers are good enough, but as I said I love the original and it's not that old that I need an updated version.

Would pobably rank the songs like this:
Spoiler:

01. SHUTOUT
02. Rich & Famous
03. OMG
04. STRIP
(my most listened songs by far)

05. Summer Time
06. Merry Go Round
07. Eh Yo
08. k,
09. DO ME
10. again
11. プチョヘンザッ!!!
12. GET NAKED
13. GOLDFINGER 2019/Livin' La Vida Loca

Party_King 29th December 2019 02:11 PM

^ yeah it’s true that it’s always interesting to see different opinions and points of view of albums/songs. Sometimes they make me listen to a song again which is than growing on me...

and BTW i totally forgot that mess „k,“ is haha :D
It’s definitely my most disliked track on re(CORD).
I compare it to Wicked Girls sounds wise.
But while Wicked Girls is memorable, „k,“ isn’t.

I think re(CROD) as a body of work is pretty strong and I still enjoy it. The only song on it that I don't like would be GET NAKED - I still cannot get past the stupid shouty bits, completely ruins the song for me.

My personal favourites are SHUTOUT and again. I find myself defaulting to SHUTOUT now whenever I feel like going for a banger these days. It's such an amazing song to me and it feels so Koda Kumi. again also pleases my pedestrian Japanese taste :laugh I love it. I couldn't get into Put Your Hands Up!! at first but re(LIVE) really changed my mind on that. k, is still a refreshing cutesy song to me and Rich & Famous is a good update to CHANCES ALL.

lovethatkuu&ayu 29th December 2019 04:19 PM

re(CORD) is probably her most focused work in years. It flows quite well, and I still really enjoy it.

The biggest thing I appreciated was hearing strong and healthy vocals again. Both AND/DNA were recorded when she was coming off tours. This is probably the first album in awhile where her voice was rested and fully recovered.

I think Rich and Famous is indeed the key track on the album. STRIP remains a very pleasant surprise. Again is just lovely and nostalgic to listen to. I also still quite enjoy Eh Yo, Do Me, and Summer Time.

The videography for this album really fits the vibe I think she was going for. I wish Rich and Famous, Eh Yo and Do Me had gotten PVs but given the situation at avex, I'm not going to complain too much.

mi|kshake 29th December 2019 11:39 PM

Thanks for posting the performances, I really enjoyed watching them. Again really does have that nostalgic feel!

Ashen Twilight 30th December 2019 03:00 AM

I had been slowly getting tired of Kuu with the release of W FACE. AND and DNA felt like a continuation of outside, and so do some song on re(CORD), but I do feel like this album has something the other did not. I do think I have a different impression than a few folks here since I didn’t listen to any of the tracks released before the album dropped. Personal faves for me are Put Your Hands Up!!, Rich & Famous, OMG, Eh Yo, and Merry Go Round. Mostly because we haven’t gotten songs like these in quite some time.

jiarongisme 30th December 2019 03:51 AM

Speaking of re(CORD) though, do y'all reckon we'll EVER get access to the FC DVD contents?

jean-baptiste 30th December 2019 04:54 AM

I've yet to listen to the new album as it isn't on Apple Music in the US. I should probably get around to downloading it a lot of you guys are saying interesting things about it.

Gustavopc 30th December 2019 03:37 PM

Okay, I'll go back in time a bit to talk about re(CORD) cause I can see a path she went through with the last albums and I think it makes a lot of sense to look at the bigger picture to understande re(CORD). And it's the end of the decade + start of her 20th anniv, so a re(CAP) is in due time.

It all starts with Bon Voyage, which was a turning point in her career. Until the album's release, she was keeping her already well known habit of releasing a summer single, a winter ballad, some tracks with tie-in being singles as well in the middle, and then having the final actual album sounding like a single playlist. I do like her albums that way, don't get me wrong, it's just that I couldn't see much cohesiveness in her works since secret, except maybe for TRICK, and still it not as much as she had in her first three albums. Then, Bon Voyage came out, and the title was SO RIGHT. She mentioned on interviews she kinda did a recap of what Koda Kumi was, and decided what to take with her on her new journey and what to leave behind. And the album tracklist really portrays that. The first half, from the intro to the interlude, sounds like a singles playlist, with bangers, a summer song, a winter ballad, a rnb-ish track and so on. That's what Koda Kumi had been like for years. And then there's the later half, where she started using much more of that "nasal" or high-pitched voices, the sound was way more urban, even a bit alternative, with lots of hip-hop elements and different stuff thrown in. That was the new journey, the new sound.

From Bon Voyage to W FACE, she was on a roll to me, with each album getting more cohesive. WOML was SO amazing, with rock-inspired tracks, a bunch of upbeat songs, some funky ones and even the cute-happy song fit the album. There was even Dance In The Rain, a song which is pretty unique in her discography. I also loved the new tracks for SUMMER/WINTER of LOVE, she managed to deliver a new sound and still recap her releases up to then, so well done. W FACE was a high point to me, outside was so cohesive, fun and so Koda Kumi-esque, and both albums explored a lot of her identity and style, while still trying something new, like My fun, jazzy songs for outside and so on.

And then, when AND/DNA came out, I kinda withered lol The way she was singing in most tracks of AND really bothered me, and nowadays I listen to basically two songs (ALL RIGHT and IT'S MY LIFE). DNA was a improvement but still there was something off (but at least she delivered SO HARD with HAIRCUT, song and pv-wise).

Then we had the digital singles thing (sorry, I can't call it a project). While they were coming out I was not into the era cause the covers were so hideous and the release pattern seemed so messy, and the LLVL PV being released out of a sudden without being a single like WHY?? idk, it might have worked in Japan, but the strategy to me seemed odd. And then she mention re(CORD) was to be a continuation of AND/DNA so I just lol'ed :laugh But now I think more like AND was where she was trying too many different sounds and ways to sing all at once, at DNA she got the balance a bit better but still had the Koda Kumi-ness missing in most songs, and with re(CORD) she got it just right. There are songs in which she sings in three or four different ways, like GET NAKED, almost to the point of feeling like a girlgroup song. However she layered those styles much better and balanced how much she would use of each one and when she would use them. And she added way more idendity to those songs, like she matched her W FACE signature to the new stuff she had tried with AND/DNA. I got really REALLY proud of the result.

Now to the album tracks themselves :P A lot of them, to me, are revisiting older songs and bringing them to new era, which is basically the concept of re(LIVE) as well. R&F is the key track in all of this, since it's basically CHANCES ALL 2.0 but also featuring an artist she already worked with. Put your hand up!!! gives me Lady Go vibes, she talked about Eh Yo being WIND part II, and so much can go on here. again is also a clear example of the album's concept, especially its video. And I like all tracks, some a bit more, but all are great songs. I love the latin vibe of some tracks, the hip-hop sound of others, and as a whole the album has so much energy and power. I think it might be one of my favorite albums of hers already! I wish some things were different of course but song-wise she nailed it this time. I can't wait to see where she'll go next, now she's got her stamina again. Hoping for new surprises and specially new collaborations to spice things up a bit in 2020 :)

She really started a self-discovering journey with Bon Voyage.

Kuu just was up at Momoiro's Kohaku for a talk part:

Wooow, looks like a lot of people are watching the stream, cause like 100s of new posts on Twitter were just now popping up while Kuu performed.

Sadly it's GOLDFINGER again, tho she probably keeps perfroming it because of the pair dance she learned for it.

Here's a fan sharing something of the beginning, the talk part and her performance:

Happy Kuu Year to everyone! Onward to a new decade and Kumi's 20th anniversary celebration.

I watched the performance, and it was a good one. Great energy and a good fun crowd. I hope she does this year end event next year. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing from the clips I had the chance to see.

Yeah, haven't seen Yokohama arena for a while.
Forgot how huge it is.
When Kuu was announced at the beginning, the cheering was really loud!
Or better the roaring, even Kuu joked in her posts she now made how low the voices of the audience sounded. :laugh
Most of the audience was male, like expected for wotas/idol fans, I guess.

Here Kuu shared a bit of her performance as video on her Insta:

Wishing us all a happy new year and thanking everybody for all the support and cheering at the live as well as people watching the broadcast today.

I've yet to listen to re(CORD) since it isn't on Apple Music yet, but after reading this (and other people's positive perception of the album) I just might download it to take a listen.

Kuu says in her new year's message, that she wants to make her fans happy in her anniversary year and even though she knows those are pretty much just words used everywhere, she wants to come up with suprises for us.

Mayu Yoshikawa, a member of the girlgroup Up Up Girls, met Kuu yesterday:

She said she waited for a chance to meet her since elementary school (she's 21).

And now she posted a reaction video right after she met Kuu, being drenched in tears of happiness. :laugh

Okay, so I know this is random but... with the uploading of some of her old PVs recently, I was reminded of the Cherry Girl drama she shot during Black Cherry that was packaged with the album. Well, back in the day, I tried to watch it, but not knowing Japanese, I really had no clue what was going on so I gave up. So, seeing the Cherry Girl PV made me remember the drama and I watched it with English subs and I have so many questions!!! Mainly, my issue with it is this: why did the two opposing parties plan together to kill Kuu's trio of private investigators?! How did they even know they existed and how were they a threat to them?? I just don't understand the reasoning behind the plot... They staged all this stuff to hire these girls just so they could kill them foooor what reason exactly? Please enlighten me someone! :laugh

---------------------------------------------------

You remember Kuu mentioning the country wide radio comments she recorded at avex' headquarters?
They strangely didn't make an official announcement about it on her site or anything, but they apparently started airing in December already and going on since then.
Cause the radio programmes airing them are making posts about airing those comments on Twitter.
Like this one just yesterday:
https://twitter.com/rkb_wannabz/stat...47565981650945
This is a cute post about such a Kuu comment from December:
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640...923/CNS6y6.jpg
This radio reporter was shedding happy tears about it, cause Kuu's song supported her in hard times.
Guess they gonna air them through her whole anniversary year.

-----------------------------------------------

Aoi Shouta also has his own radio programme and in the last episode of 2019 he spoke about his encounter with Kuu and about his grandmother:
https://www.excite.co.jp/news/articl...Fm_URO4y6An9D/
To summarize what he spoke about:
Meeting and collaborating with Kuu was one of his most impressive moments of 2019.
He always loved playing computer games and his grandmother watched over him when he was young. One of this games was FF X-2 and it was the way he discovered Kuu's music. 1000 no Kotoba was a song his grandmother loved, too, when she heard it while he was playing the game back then (so he was singing the song at that national tournament where he then won the grand prix). His beloved grandmother died about a year ago, but he couldn't really feel the sadness of loosing her till now.
But then the FNS Uta Matsuri came and Kuu hugged him on stage. He tried his best while the camera was on him not to cry, but the tears were heavily falling in the light of his wish coming true (meeting and performing with Kuu) when he left the stage with Kuu. And Kuu was saying to him "This was great. Your grandmother is definitely watching (right now)". So when he was back at home this night, brushing his teeth and looking into the mirror, he thought about his grandmother for the first time after her death and then he cried about her death for the very first time.

Short sidenote - Aoi Shouta and Kuu are in different record companies and I guess it's quite hard to arrange something not being in the same. E.g. all performances and pics he did with other artists at FNS Uta Matsuri this night were from his own record company.

I hope you got better by now, Corvina and thanks for sharing the wallpapers from the Japanese FC & Play Room. Global FC didn't get Christmas or NY wallpapers like we used to. I won't be surprised if they shutdown GFC in the coming years, her Global Fanbase is quite small and probably only 25% are the members of the FC.

I think it's just how it is, it just doesn't make much sense and it was more fan service type of a movie for Kuu fans rather than her attempt at being an actress. That's probably also why it never got a standalone release.

Some people here seem to be very excited about the possible upcoming all-time BEST album. Can someone explain to me why? Not trying to be an ass, just curious. I converted all of the Kuueen's best albums into playlists otherwise I'd have 3 exact versions of 「hands」when playing music on shuffle. I do keep her BEST albums in my iTunes library for collection purposes but don't actually play the duplicated tracks. I also already created the playlist of all her singles and as soon as the new one comes out I just add it there. If she releases an all-time best single collection we are likely going to get the same tracks with the same arrangement again. I'd rather she released an album about her path/career which tells a story as WOML did.

lovethatkuu&ayu 4th January 2020 10:46 PM

An all-time BEST for me would represent the journey. It's both a monument and a testament to her grit, work ethic, and vision. We wouldn't be just getting music. There would definitely be a detailed booklet and unseen photos from her archives. To not release a BEST this year would be foolish. Ayumi missed a big opportunity in both the 2017 lead up and 2018 celebration .

Looking at the physical 6 disc copy of Mai Kuraki's 20th anniversary release was impressive. It was handled with care, and turned out quite well. I would prefer Kumi take that approach with her release. It's going to be tricky, since Kumi has numerous singles with more than one A-side.

kaled kalil 5th January 2020 02:08 AM

^ I wouldn't call Mai's compilation "impressive". Besides the remaster, which is something most people don't really care, it has all singles and that's it. Also, it was 20,000 yen for a 4 CDs + 2 DVDs, not even a blu-ray version was available.

Impressive was Seiko's The Voice of a Queen, which had all her singles in physical CD format, and it was worthy for the die hard fans since most of her 80s singles were released in LP format, and now are on CD with instrumentals that weren't available before. The price was insane, but for the content it was understandable.

I can see the milestone of a compilation for all 20 years and how important it might be, but unless it has actual interesting content, I'm not getting it.

KarenPang 5th January 2020 04:54 AM

B'z's COMPLETE SINGLE BOX were also amazing in the way they were done

http://bz-vermillion.com/news/170629.html

Both B’z COMPLETE SINGLE BOX Black & Trailer Versions are not cheap but the way Being marketed and created them let alone the content on what you get , it was real epic

Somemore , B'z only started to release CD + DVD versions of their albums and singles in 2009 which's considered late as they've been in the business since 1988

I don't know if Kuu would consider to do something like this but it would make a statement in celebration of her 20th anniversary this year

Corvina 5th January 2020 08:56 AM

Thanks, ALfromHELLSING, by now I'm so far healthy again. :)

If I'd like an upcoming best depends on what would be on it. All PVs and/or rare material included?
Hell, yes, I'd be hyped.
Otherwise I wouldn't care much.
But I do see it as a good opportunity for the general public. She's never going to release a physical single again and a 20th anniversary is a milestone not everybody reaches (even Kuu wasn't sure she would).
So an All Time Single Best makes sense, as casual listeners and the public, who are not following her, have not much clue what she all did since her peak and like that they have it combined.

kaled kalil 5th January 2020 02:30 PM

@KarenPang The truck is so cool! For someone like me who collected all Kumi's singles (except the FC exclusives), it wouldn't be much of a treat a release with all the singles physically, but it definitely is something cool and over the top.

They could also do what they did in 2011, release old concerts in blu-ray. Or do like Akina Nakamori's 35th anniversary, where they broadcast her old concerts in fullHD.

They have the footage, in 2015 they did the 15th Anniversary Live History and the Secret Live was clearly recorded in HD for most of the angles. The upscale for Black Cherry and TRICK were nicely done, also the fact that we finally had Dream Music Park.

Her team really pushes for the Queen of Live title, so I really hope they utilizes her live catalog properly.

I'm not even gonna bother anymore with the a-nation old performances, at this point everything is all lost like bandai's Sailor Moon masters. lol

Does someone know the name of the guy in the Lies PV? Easily he's the most handsome man that Kuu had as a love interest in her videos imo :P

Regarding the all time best, tbqh I'd love an expensive really complete box but I don't think I could afford it. So if she settles now for something like Finally, with three discs and a video dvd/bd I'd be over the moon already.

His name is Shogen Itokazu.

If were speaking about actors... When Kuu played her part in the Rika drama, she played with Ryohei Otani, the male main actor, and she said that some time in the future he has to play in one of her PVs. :laugh

I concur. I have rewatched it recently and it boogles the mind how random it is. yet there are multiple sets and effects to make it seem there is a story??

(2 kuus surveilling a third kuu in a sewing studio, immediate fanservice dancing; all happening in a picture in a museum of sorts again looked at by yet another kumi and of course the first kumi pulling strings from her face?)

can anybody please try interprete this PV?
