Hello everyone.

I just applied for Act 2. But I'm surprised that I didn't have to enter my TA data anywhere. My Livepoket email address is the same as TA's. I hope everything is correct.
Has anyone else applied for Act 2?

pchan1986 8th July 2023 09:32 PM

I was at the first show 7/8 Chiba. My first ayu concert and she blew me away. I was amazed that she sang live & danced her butt off. She really motivates the crowd to participate. I cried during Hanabi since it is one of my favorite songs. I wish there was a live band but I understand it’s a smaller venue. Her dancers & back up singers were great too.
Please check out my page for pics/videos @karma.is.my.friend on Instagram (I hope I can share this info)

brener 8th July 2023 11:14 PM

wait, there wasn't a live band? ! ^

The seltist is nice. I suppose she'll change it in the future. Maybe to include a max of her songs.

I love to see Replace. I listened to it today and I said myself it has been a while I didn't do it.

No actual photos yet, but instagram user ta_marukome made a description of the show with cute drawings. They are under the spoiler
http://i.imgur.com/Q5Veh8Dl.jpg

And here is the description from those pictures and from chinese fans. Sorry for my English, native speakers might have a bleed from their eyes, but that's better than nothing, rignt? :P

Dancers appeared at the audience and went up on stage. Probably like at the 25th anniversary live? There were 6 huge screens, you can see them on the drawing. Opening was remixed version of Nonfiction and screens were set up as decoratopns from PV. Ayu was a little nervous on the first day, but more confident on the second day.

The first outfit is shiny pink zabra pattern suit, short blazer and shiny black tanktop underneath.
For the Summer Again it were tropical jungles on screens and it all looked realistic. Ayu also danced a lot.

Next outfit was black high-waisted pants and black silk long-sleeved cropped top. At the Sparkle dance and stage look was quite similar to the PV. Lucky boy was brought on the stage.

Lucky girl was brought on the stage at the XOXO. Girl that were selected on the 8th even told ayu that she is pregnant. Ayu was very happy and told her to give birth to a healthy baby safely. Screens showed a lot of app icons and emojies

Merry-go-round was like CDL13-14 performance

Local Chiba ayupan appeared on screen during ayu-mi-x

On the 8th ayu choked up in the middle of singing untitled for her... story 2, and on 9th she performed well from the beginning to the end. It was imple background for this song wuth photos of ayu and her friend. Ayu weared sparkling white long gauze dress and big white bow headband.

At the HANABI background showed vast galaxy, and it is accompanied by meteors passing by one by one. At the HANABI ~episode~ it was blooming fireworks

For the Endless sorrow ayu weared super big and fluffy grey dress. Screens also recreated PV, the background is a ruins and fluttering feathers.
The special screen video started after Endless sorrow. It showed ayu from the different angles. Photos from the filming was uploaded at the instagram
http://i.imgur.com/6XNNhLat.jpg

For the Wake me up ayu was in vibrant green outfit - short top and pants.

At the You & Me ayu held a big water spray gun and swept towards the audience crazily. Everyone was happy. Screens was full of cute fluorescent elements.

Summer Love was decorated with winter elements. Afterwards, a lot of emoji floated.

Ayu's whole body was wrapped in the cute A logo leopard print swimming ring

At the BLUE BIRD PV played on screens.

At the MC Ayu dramatically announce that she has something important to tell. And it was about how she messed up the Endless sorrow lyrics

For the encore ayu weared white peaked cap with low twist double ponytails, denim suit and white T-shirt underneath. After Sunrise she threw towel from the stage. On the 9th, she threw two towels at the same place.

Before Boys & Girls ayupan with leopard print and double ponytails from Shibuya 108 appeared on the big screen to teach everyone how to dance.

At the July 1st four large screens play the images of July 1st over the years and in the middle was ayu who is singing now.

Screens whowed beautiful cherry blossom petals and scrolled doewn the lyrics of Replace

One more thing I want to know, they said there's no live band in this show so Ayu sings with the backing track only?

Apart from occasional shows there is no live band in her tours since af least Just the beginning -20, which was around kicked off in 2017?

AguileraAnimato 16th July 2023 08:17 AM

OMG I just realized she has ripped off the live band since 2017
How can she ensure the spirit of the show without her close bandmate?

brener 16th July 2023 05:55 PM

^ yeah, i'm so sad about it

Chris85 16th July 2023 11:47 PM

I've never had a sense of live band at Ayu shows, the sound is like from the album. While it's weird having no band, in terms of the sound I doubt I'd notice a difference.

You mean while watching it at the venue? Because for us who are watching the DVD / Blu-ray or broadcast version is really noticeable. I mean, big part of her pre-recorded instrumental tracks for these shows aren't the CD, but made with a band in a studio, but we can really feel the difference in sound when it's played when the band is on the venue. The energy is totally different.

brener 17th July 2023 11:57 PM

^ yeah, the difference on energy is clear, also the sound of a live electric guitar and drums is quite unbeatable

Evolution7/4 20th July 2023 08:03 AM

Yup! Ayu's band always put some "stank" on her tracks especially the rock instrumentations.

visionfactory 21st July 2023 07:21 AM

I never liked the band thing they tend to mess up lot of songs that are not meant to be played by a live band

Jennie Mae 24th July 2023 06:42 AM

i hope you guys that are actually attending the shows have plenty of fun there, enjoy like crazy, something tells me that maybe this is indeed one of the last if not her final tour itself :( and it kills me the fact that by now i can't go :cry

Please expand upon that thought.

Right now I own pretty much all of Ayu's live tours and CDL on disc as released by Avex, and I've watched each at least twice. *Never* have I thought Ayu's band missed a beat, missed their cue, came in at the wrong time or created something I didn't have an appreciation for. If there's anything that ever comes off sounding wrong, we can start with Ayu's vocals. But that's a completely separate story (which I won't get into here).

Having a live band presents a great opportunity to have new arrangements or putting a new spin on a classic and I much, *much* prefer to have a band than having everything pre-recorded. Where's the talent showcase there?

There are concerts that sound *exactly* like studio albums. I don't think that's what people go to concerts for.

brener 30th July 2023 05:26 PM

^ I second that! Her band always performed greatly and always added up to the shows.

Btw, Rosalia's most recent tour received bad judgement by the media for not having a band on stage, even though the show itself is fantastic, she plays the piano, dances like crazy, performs expressively, but a band is a band... She answered saying that her work is more eletronic-oriented these days and a band wouldn't fit, but I disagree, even having enjoyed watching her concert and after putting it in my top 5 shows of Lollapalooza Brazil, I strongly believe that a band would bring much more energy and appeal to her concert. Pop acts who indeed have a band on stage are usually praised for it.

You can record a different arrangement and playback it.
My problem with the band was that it didn't sound live.

So a pre-recorded arrangement sounds more 'live' to you than a live band?

I didn't say that. Probably there wouldn't be much difference.
I could enjoy the live instruments at some artists club performances, you could clearly hear the difference, but at Ayu shows I've never had that feeling.
I might be wrong though, gotta experience her show without the band.

brener 7th August 2023 09:01 PM

I've watched the 25th anniversary live this weekend and no complaints about the band, drums and electric guitars are meant to be heard live, anyways, i think you should watch her concerts again and give the band special attention and then again what a no-band concert to see the difference in energy and vibe

So are you then saying having a live band is 'wasted' (once the material has been transferred to disc) because it doesn't sound all that much different than the album?

If that's the case, then this has to be a live thing (at a venue) vs what it might sound like after sound engineers have spent weeks mixing the audio for a DVD/blu-ray release. It's the same source material, but obviously playback will sound very different on a 2-speaker home system vs a live venue which has...a few dozens? You can't replicate that, and it *will* sound different no matter what.

Anyone can advise how to ballot for ayu's tickets from overseas?

I'm hoping to get 2 tickets for 15 Oct at Hiroshima but really hit with all the blockers when trying to create an eplus account and have no avail at the following middleman service.

have tried register for TeamAyu App but the app cannot be downloaded overseas...

You don´t need the app to ballot for tickets. If you are overseas you get the link to ballot via email. But the lottery for act 2 is over already.

Maybe you can try the mu-mo lottery, they are standing seats, but Hiroshima is available

indeed, one of the most closed markets.. i want to buy another dvd/bd player but on Amazon Brazil I can only get Sony ones (which are pretty difficult to region unlock - expect that from a japanese company), i'll probably have to get it from another retailer

International fans have a different application process than those who reside in Japan. Look out for lottery announcements and scroll down, there’s a separate link to register. Pick the dates you’d want to attend. You’ll be charged for the dates you pick. You’ll know if you win or not when you check the website. When you win, you won’t know what seat(s) you’ll have. When I went to the venue, I picked up my tickets and found out my seat #. You’ll have to show your passport based on the name you registered for the tickets. Hope this helps and good luck!! Yes and I agree, look out for standing opportunities. Keep checking the TA updates on the app and emails from TA.

Lucky to the person who got the opportunity to go onstage. I should have made a poster with the U.S. flag, maybe I could’ve gone up too :yes

So lucky share pictures!! Can we (fans) connect on Instagram? Karma.is.my.friend :D

Also, no live bands. I was disappointed. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and they are the key to make the songs sound more unique and LIVE. However, there could be reasons why she decided not to have them. Maybe due to budget and availability to attend all performances? I know she’ll have the live band again for larger venues like countdown live or maybe Tokyo.

I think the only japanese payment problem is for the mu-mo lottery seats.
Alltough livepocket also is a credit card killer, it blocked 2 of my cards and I need the help of a friend to ballot.

Buying tickets for act 2?

Hi everyone.

After many years I'm finally coming back to Ayu. I hope to see her this fall (Oct/Nov) for Act 2. I understand I missed Team Ayu presale, does anyone know how I can get tickets?

I looked at Celga and Yahoo JP auction but could only find goods, no tickets to get a middleman to buy for me.

My Mu-Mo account registration was rejected because I don't have a Japanese address.

zellyx 24th August 2023 10:13 PM

Actually, I got pretty far for mu-mo, I went to apply for the tickets, but payment is rejected because I don't have a Japanese issued credit card or address

.

You won´t find tickets on Yahoo. Tickets are mostly digital and the ones that are in ticket form I think won´t be issused until a few days before the show. (plus Japan is getting very strict against re-sale of tickets) You could try mu-mo sale maybe through a middleman (dunno if that will work) or try the official AnyPASS re-sale (this also will only be possible a few days prior to the show and I don´t know if you can register with a non-japanese phone)

brener 25th August 2023 05:00 AM

stage photos are good, it love it when they use larger screens, and they look bigger especially on a smaller stage like this

i still have hopes that for Tokyo (CDL) they'll bring back the band, it looks like something is missing when i see only her and the dancers

visionfactory 25th August 2023 07:12 AM

^ ^ I registered myself in AnyPASS with my chilean telephone number, so yes you can!

MKAyu 26th August 2023 01:07 AM

Thank you for these, Aderianu, they're amazing! She looks like she belongs on that stage.

zellyx 26th August 2023 09:58 PM

So, it sounds like if you miss the TA lottery, you need to get lucky with a ticket through AnyPASS re-sale just a few days before the concert? lol this is crazy. I guess I could book my trip to Japan when there's a few dates, don't plan on making it to her tour this year, and then just cross my fingers I get a ticket while I'm there + change my hotel and transport plans... :o

The show on 30th is normally not sold out, so it should be easy to win.

I intend to go both days if I won :yes

It is not like a recieve a lot of emails... they just didn't send it :( so I changed my mail address if that works on 9/7/2023 notice

Wish you luck with the lottery!

voltron 5th September 2023 11:12 PM

^ I also never got the e-mail. I haven't received anything since the Act 2 lotteries.

visionfactory 7th September 2023 10:34 AM

^I changed my mail to another one in settings and this time worked and I've recieved TA mail today!

voltron 7th September 2023 01:37 PM

^ I didn't change mine, but I finally got an email today too!

I've lost every lottery I applied for this tour. It feels like my account is blacklisted. (I'm sure it's not really, but it's all just so strange)

2Hurt 12th September 2023 07:59 AM

I haven't really been active here and hope this is allowed (otherwise I am sorry and please delete my message)... but I was planning to attend the tour in Nov / Dec but changed my plans. I have two tickets to Nagasaki and two to Shizuoka which I am not going to use but wouldn't want them to go to waste. If anyone wants to take them (for free) and attend the lives then let me know which live. They are livepocket tickets so it's not AnyPass just a QR to get into the venue. I am not sure whether they will check ids for her concerts these days but I am sure people who attended her live would know. :)

You need your passport to collect the actual tickets (the QR is not the ticket, only a code to collect the tickets at the TA booth), so only the ticketholder themselves can collect them.

Ahh thank you so much for letting me know! I had no idea as it's been years since I went to her live and just printed tickets at Lawson then. Is it possible to use a passport scan or something if you know? It would be a shame to let them go to waste haha

It would depend on what I could blur out. But it's too bad then. It's sad they make it such a hassle these days even if you just want to give them away for free lol

I'm not sure but maybe there's a possibility someone can collect the tickets for you if you contact livepocket in advance and tell them that person's data (name, passport, etc...)

If you could do it can I maybe have the Shizuoka tickets? I live in Tokyo but missed all the lotteries I applied for second chapter. And Shizuoka is not that far. Maybe I could arrange my free days and go hahaha

mimika 15th September 2023 05:42 AM

ayu_fantasy 15th September 2023 08:09 AM

Congratulations to everyone who won! I won both dates but my husband said we can only go to one. I have time to convince him… haha

They started the second lottery for the CDL so I’m assuming it’s not competitive? Everyone that I know who registered got tickets which is great. Local and international fans unite! I’m preparing my trip and plan to stay close to Shibuya. Hope we can connect and meet each other there! :grouphug I plan to make a small sign this time :yes

pchan1986 15th September 2023 05:25 PM

I also forgot to ask, do you think the track list for CDL will be the same as her Act 2 performance?

In case anyone needs to know for future concerts. I contacted TA and they said it's possible to transfer tickets to your friends. They want the information and they will tell the live team of the day that your friend will pick them up in your name. :)

brener 21st September 2023 03:32 PM

I hope she prepared something special for the last show of Act I, it happened so fast

Aderianu 21st September 2023 07:16 PM
