CeS told me how she and her Colombian friend (in that one picture) were able to choose the best masks out of the set. They were standing by the table of masks when the guy announced to the rest of them that they could start choosing which one to wear.

The whole auction with masks thing... isn't that unheard of. I remember watching Last Exile and there was an auction and people were wearing similar sorts of masks.

Hmm I think the masks are pretty theatrical. O_o They seem to be more of the type seen at Italian Carnivale and masquerade balls than at Mardi Gras. XDD

My thoughts exactly, you can make glass look like diamond with good enough lighting. I have no worries at all, it's like you cna sometimes see how cheap things look in the making off's, but in the PV it just looks great.

Like mentioned she has done it before ;). And alterna was great, you just have to set your mind right :D.

This pv will be something like ayu dancing in a cage and waiting for bidders to bid her back home. OR similiar to christina aguilera's DIRRRTY PV, where she is boxing, whilst the other people around a throwing $$~~

About the pole dance, i think Ayu mite do a good job...haha..She will probably be singing in teh cage and during the pole dance....

this is wad i imagine, of coz i dont expect it to come true...but CAGED-Ayu symbolise Trapped...POLE DANCE-Ayu symbolise Wildness....contrast chracters! and probably CAGED-Ayu gets free later...hehe..wild imagination of mine

We don't even know the lyrics, other than a small 15 second segment, so you can't really say anything about that.

Perhaps the meaning will become more evident when we actually get the song and PV.

@kiseki - I don't think they use the music at all while recording video, unless there's a dance that's supposed to synch the actual music especially.

I think they have everything pretty carefully planned out before they start shooting, then they just capture the video.

Maybe they just don't allow it (although you can tell some people did have cameras).

If I'm not wrong, that 'CeS' person is a friend of soysaucer and was lucky enough to do as an extra on Ayu's pV?... Gosh... I bet I'd be getting tons of jobs if I went to Tokyo and signed up to a talent/model agency, probably like many other gaijins...

CeS was able to listen to the full song and watch some footage of Ayu's filming from the day before--that was how she knew about Ayu being in the cage.

This PV does indeed seem like something I've been waiting for, this wont be bland. She can't manage another bland PV, even though nothing is definate, she just can't. Well, in my eyes the previous PVs were quite bland, with the exception of Startin', but it wasn't too good.

Yeah, my sister pointed out a lot to me a while ago.. There's Alterna, Ladies Night, Ourselves, Because of You(maybe?), and now 1LOVE...

There are probably a bunch more that I'm missing, but those are the ones I remember most.

I think their surrealism equalled for example ourselves, but I don't think that they have the same 'dark' feel as that PV, or like, for example, Because of You. Ladies Night does have its ending, which is pretty 'dark', and I don't mean dark as in light setting only although that does play a major part in making something seem more frightening.

HEAVEN did have a big climax, and it was a simple PV. However, I cried watching it the first time. I still get teary eyed watching it- there's something so simple, yet very powerful about it.

I'm hoping JEWEL and 1LOVE will have the same effect on me. That same powerful impact.

Clowns are, and have always been, thoroughly evil. It's been proven over and over. Ayu seems to have a thing for featuring clowns, or clown-ish characters, she's done it before. I wonder if they used the same actor for this clown, as the main clown in alterna.
