Finally... I guess they can relax a little now, before preparing for the release

Norrel 8th November 2006 05:00 AM

I wonder if that "secret" ayupan will be related to this album! :D

Eigakan 8th November 2006 05:09 AM

great news, the finished album and the countdown is going to be a BEST of!

You act as if you're speaking for a majority of people who buy the album. As in, the world over. The people here aren't even the tiniest fraction of the overall buyers.

It's not a fact that you think you're right. It's an opinion. Just admit that. It's not like you're going to win this argument anyway. Can the ego, you arrogant little dip.

truehappiness 8th November 2006 07:36 AM

Well, I guess it was the overall lack of variety in genre of the songs that turned people off, since it was upbeat after upbeat after upbeat...

And I think it didn't help that Takahide Ishii directed like every single PV >>

but I loved the songs anyway <3

s1012h 8th November 2006 07:47 AM

^definitely
plus the fact that ayu had so many other songs that were alot better than her recent ones
it's hard to top evolution, SEASONS, M, for example
and also her songs lately aren't the kinds of songs that you can listen a million times and not get tired of
like now i'm not really interested to JEWEL anymore
i keep on listen to her songs from I am...

truehappiness 8th November 2006 07:50 AM

Well, it's hard to top the classics. LOL

I think that not being interested in JEWEL is not so much the song being bad as it is that we don't really have anything other than that.. radio rip-thing.. :|

zeroshin888 8th November 2006 07:53 AM

I hope she hasn't overworked herself from all this! Curious about the tracklist and cover.. I sure wish it's not another m(u) cover..

truehappiness 8th November 2006 08:14 AM

I think after (m)u, they'll probably not do that again..

I mean it's not like Ayu is in some foreign country at the moment so.. :)

~X2RADialbomber~ 8th November 2006 08:28 AM

But she was overseas many times and probably already did the covers. Weren't the photobooks for (m)u done when fairyland was released? XD

truehappiness 8th November 2006 08:31 AM

Well, if that was the case wouldn't we have gotten a cover already? ._.?

When she went to Hawaii it was like: calendar / covers / magazine shoots / single.. x.x

ruixiong89 8th November 2006 08:32 AM

^ Mmm ... I don't think so.

(m)u was completed after fairyland. She went Hawaii to shoot fairyland, went back to Japan and then went to New York to complete her Bold & Delicious/Pride promotional pictures, which are in fact, those for (m)u too.

truehappiness 8th November 2006 08:36 AM

ruixiong, she meant:
on my way and off my day were completed back when she was in Hawaii. :3

But didn't we get some sort of ViVi Dejideji Diary from that era that showed pictures of that.. or something?

~X2RADialbomber~ 8th November 2006 08:40 AM

We got those pictures a long time after 'fairyland'

I'm really hoping for the cover soon x.x

truehappiness 8th November 2006 08:42 AM

Well, whatever happens with the cover and booklet, I'm sure they're not in some public place like NY..

Studio photos please.

s1012h 8th November 2006 08:46 AM

^yes for studio pictures!
i think (m)u had the NY pictures because, and this is just a guess
ayu doesn't want other people to "misunderstand" her as this fabulous glamorous perfect star
and having the album pictures all from her trip to NY, with really no "studio-like" photos
she can distance herself from the glamorous person we all think she is
therefore, she is (miss)understood

truehappiness 8th November 2006 08:50 AM

Actually, I think for (miss)understood..
Perhaps her colleague wanted to take the booklet photos? :| [Mikajohn / Mika Noguchi..]

I do wonder what was coursing through Ayu's head when she chose such a format for (m)u's booklet and cover..

Yes, because wearing a fur coat doesn't give off the glamorous vibe at all... ;)

truehappiness 8th November 2006 10:00 AM

Actually, I don't even know if there was a clear theme to (miss)understood. LOL

~X2RADialbomber~ 8th November 2006 10:14 AM

^ I think it was a laid-back theme. Showing much more of her personal side, and showing people that she can be normal like them

summersnow 8th November 2006 10:19 AM

thanks for the info!! I can't wait for 29/11!! *excited* ^^

Yukitora 8th November 2006 10:22 AM

Excited! This album seems very fresh by her attitude of it's production :) It'll probably be like (m)u at this point!

truehappiness 8th November 2006 10:33 AM

I wouldn't say that...

-protects Ayu from tomatoes- :3

I wonder if people actually like (m)u as an album, but hate its packaging.. :O

~X2RADialbomber~ 8th November 2006 10:39 AM

^ I love (miss)understood. I was really happy with the songs. I love Bold And Delicious, STEP you, alterna, Criminal, Will, HEAVEN, both interludes and rainy day.

syntherella 8th November 2006 11:10 AM

Thanks for the awesome news! Yay for new material, I'm really excited about the tracklist. I'm also perked about the title 'BEST of COUNTDOWN LIVE'. What's in a name, eh! Looking forward to it!

ruixiong89 8th November 2006 01:11 PM

Hehe, now I'm kind of convinced Ayu's going to do more rockish songs in her album after the theme is kind of revealed in her new website template! :) Yeah! I didn't exactly like this year's genre of music of her singles, which are really poppy tunes. But yup, I'm going to go with Ayu for this to be her "best" album as yet!

ayu-marco 8th November 2006 04:35 PM

"momentum" should be a rock song :)

starr5245 10th November 2006 08:12 AM

I really can't wait for the release of the album!

extepan 11th November 2006 11:26 AM

excting news. it will be released very soon!
