Of course Ayu sang too, but Peco joined in as background vocal.

Umm...I would say this...this is a more passionate "TO BE" and "Key" mixed together in a "No way to say"-type of medium tempo Ayu ballad. LOL

I would say "Yume no Uta" is less rockish than NWTS. I think the new song is somewhere between "No way to say" and "momentum" then.

Yeah it doesnt seem like she's done that much recording but she could've been working on the songs for a while already. (shrugs) I just hope she doesnt do a B&D/(miss) marketing strategy.

I'm very excited! Thanks for this news. I really hope that Ayu isn't "rushing" this release as she did with Secret. Secret was a good album, but it had a very "rugged" feel to it. MY STORY had an "elegant" feeling of "oneness" to it, (miss)understood had a very "out there/American" feel to it. I want another album that just really feels like it works together in a whole like MY STORY. I can't believe it's new album time already!!

well, I'm talking in terms of arrangement more than anything else. If the song is a medium-tempo ballad that you say is similar to "NWTS" or "momentum" (which are very typical HAL arranged ballads), then I'm assuming it would have a lot of synth in it.

I'd say the release of a new single will likely break the #1 chain of Ayu. Cause usually a single by the end of the year comes the release of a new album in a few weeks. And that's a suicide note. Look how Cherry Girl/Unmei did.
And with the drop in sales of Ayu, it should be ok if she release a sudden album to restrain the #1 chain. That way next year single will keep the top position.

avex won't try to break ayu's no 1 streak. Also, has avex or ayu announced anything on new album yet?? So far we only know she's gonna release a single..

actually we don't know for certain if ayu is gonna release a new single before a album or just a new album. I would love to see ayu release more singles. For the past 2 years, we only got 4 singles altogether. I want a ballad single very badly!

We didn't get official announcement on a single as well...
Meanwhile it's 50/50 for album or single.
This new song can be the lead song of the new album or it can be an a-side on a new single.
I hope that they won't pull a single and two weeks later a new album.

I hope we don't have to wait too long to hear it. I love No way to say so I'm sure this will be a great song. I especially love her ballads around Christmas time so I'm sure it will be wonderful, especially with the how good you say it sounded.

No way to say? Ew, this is the only ballad since LOVEppears stuff that I very dislike. I hope they won't be as similar as hell but that's ok to me. I want a powerful ballad and a "different" song, hear me please ayu!

and again, how do you know if she's gonna release an album in late Dec and Jan??? Unless you gimme a reliable source about ayu releasing an album 2-3 weeks after her new single, I dun really find your statement that supportive.

On the other hand, even if she's releasing single ONLY there's no guarantee about being no. 1 anywayz. If the next single's sales will be about 70000 again, I dun think she can get no. 1 in Dec that easily.

I did not mean that she will release an album but according to her releasing history you know. I just stated that if she releases a single and an album right after that she will likely to break the chain.

You're assuming they're going to announce/release a new album before this single. That's not necesarily going to happen.

It probably sounds amazing. No way to say is a good song after all. One of her last really "full" ballads.

It better be good x3 Since t2m and decision were really good compared to her other recent works I'm expecting this one to be just as good or better considering that she has gotten back on her feet and because it's a winter ballad. Oh I hope it warms my heart when I hear it >w<

^ YES. I don't think anything really sounds like No way to say anyways. Maybe a .01% in a few songs but that's it. I want something very wintery (I know I've said that so many times).

And I know what you mean by "Full". It has so much to it and that is one reason why I love it so much. But then again, JEWEL didn't have much but it has to be my second favorite original Ayu song ever or around that!

So I just read on ayu's blog that actually someone close to her died not long ago, so she wasn't quite herself before she sang, but that she pulled herself together when she saw us on the monitor.

No wonder I somehow thought something wasn't quite right about her (though I just thought she was just being generally nice in the semi-distant kind of way).

But, do you not think that people from Avex can easily search for things? This forum pops up easily when you search for Ayu's name. If you search for a direct quote of the entry in Japanese, it'll pop up if I post it. Don't think that Japan and the English speaking world are two different Internet worlds that don't intersect. They're not dumb. They know what's being done online (in terms of illegal uploads and such also too).

I don't want to get kicked out.

But, tons of people disregard this anyway so I'm sure they'll post eventually.

But it's like joining an elite group, or signing up to a club, you have to meet certain criteria, and just because you can't join, doesn't mean you should be entitled to receive messages from these clubs for free.
