it sad, but i look for Melon Kinenbi to fall through any time now...im amazed theve stayed together for so long...now they are in the same sales bracket as Maeda Yuki and Iida Kaori, so they are either spiraling down to one single a year/Uta Doki performances....they're still so amazing though.....its just a hunch..
gahhh i actually listen to Airi/Miyabi/Risako's solo performances/songs they have lead on all the time now....i CANNOT believe i like them now...my favorite out of the three is Risako...for some reason, she is starting to remind me of Aibon *does anyone remember her?* It's prolly her face...in Tsukiatteru no ni Kataomoi, she looked just like Aibon to me....does anyone else feel this way? |
Risako, imo, is way prettier than Aibon. Her voice has never really bothered me that much, I just want the other Berryz to get solos from time to time. And Miyabi I've always liked, but I don't think I'll ever like Airi. Her vocals are so.. irritating.

yes, she is way better looking than Aibon...Airi's vocals *and face* irritate me a lot too, but she has her good moments like her Hello Pro Hour perf *Boogie Train '03* and the chorus in Bishoujo Shinri...yea, Chinami, Maasa, and Saki get shafted with almost every single and Yurina's role as co-lead singer is slowly dwindling down to be in the Maasa/Chinami/Saki posse...although Maasa and Saki got awesome solos in Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba...and Chinami got a lot of attention in Dschinghis Khan..
that reminds me, i listened to Dschinghis Khan about 9 times today at school during computer class...i already know the lyrics word for word....i am in love with that song...i CANNOT wait for the single....and C-ute's 3rd album needs to go ahead and leak already...the wait for the Erika solo is killing me.....ohh btw, has anyone seen that hilarious video of Erika caught in the Volleyball net on youtube? i dont have the url handy, but yu can search for "Erika net" and it should be there...ive never realized that she's about 4 inches taller than me.....and Yurina is about 6 inches taller than me..... yes, i write novels everytime i post haha....i cant help it...i have a lot of opinions and i love telling how i feel most of the time....i do it on my blog all the time....oh crap, im doing it again... |

So she got in trouble and was forced to practice alone, the rest of the Berryz were sad because she always gets singled out like that. Last time she was singled out she had to hold two pals of water up for the remainder of the class period. This kinda made me sad. I normally dislike Risako but I feel really bad for her here, she always was singled out. She was like nine years old at the time of this. Also some of the other kids were crying, I almost wanted to cry with them T_T |
why is that when i start loving Risako, people start saying they dislike her? haha that video is sad...when i get my broadband internet, im gonna watch all these hilarious Kids videos...im never able to see them cuz it takes so long to load on my slow internet....im gonna watch EVERY H!P PV, download every concert, and watch every utadoki/HaroMoni i can find....gaaahhh i cant wait....

haha that's right, PSYCHEDELICOdust...its amazing, Saki and Chinami are really starting to grow on me...im starting to like them more than Maasa! Saki has an interesting voice, and i love how she phrases everything, like in Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba...the way she sings "narisou" in her solo line

i just watched Ayaka and Mai performing the Elegies song, and it made me wish *even more* that they would form a unit.. and i watched that video of the Berryz speaking English...Yurina sounds exactly like my Korean friend, Lucy when she speaks English...haha they have better English than some of the older H!P member |

Urgh, Japan needs to raise awareness on what smoking does to you! It's like tar in your lungs and everything. Really unhealthy and bad stuff! I don't want it to affect Maki's voice. Smoking is fine if it doesn't affect your health. Unfortunately, the reality is that it does, SO I think she should call it quits.
Anyway, wow, new unit?! Who's in it? I'm recently really hooked on Berryz "Dschinghis Khan"! It's amazing (and I would say much better than their previous singles!) and has a more pronounced melody. C-ute with "Tokaikko Junjou" and now Berryz with "Dschinghis Khan", wow, really good music from the Kids! :D And where's MM now? Mwhahaha. Resonant Blue. Urgh, it's like taking forever. |

It's not a unit with C-ute members, C-ute is just announcing who is going to be in it on a radio show, or something like that, today. (in Japan it's about 10 AM & I'm guessing it will be announced at night so...) From Hana @ Morning Musume BBS - those four members (Erika, Maimi, Saki & Kanna) will be on Hello!Pro Yanen, and one of the things they'll be talking about is a new unit, but it's not to say that those four are the unit, necessarily. |

i actually like Koharu when she's not TRYING to be cute...i dont think she has an ounce of cuteness in her...plus, she's 15...not 10...leave the cute stuff to Maimai....she is actually a good singer, just when she's doing an normal song....take Mitsuboshi for instance....some of the vocals on there were awesome!
and i just realized, she loves Umeboshi and Umeboshi flavored snacks....Umeboshi is dried plum, which is actually Prune....i LOVE LOVE LOVE prunes....i wish i could find prune flavored snacks....prunes are soooo good....that puts Koha up higher on my favorites now that ive found someone my age who loves prunes.... |

I liked Koha better when she first joined MM. I was watching older HaroMoni episodes, and she was so sweet back then. Now... she's always screaming and all that. Also, Koha's voice blended better with the group. Like in HOW DO YOU LIKE JAPAN? for example.

For example, her 2nd line in the song Ai to Taiyou ni Tsutsumarete (bside to her first single) is /horrible/. I can't stand it. It took one line to make up my mind haha :P I also like her latest album voice preferred to her older one, but maybe that's just me :3 |

ayaya for Ayaya *sorry, that was a lame palindrome* the new song is awesome! it has kinda an island/reggae sound, and it's like a more uptempo-cuter version of Nacchi's Iki wo Kasanemashou....i cant wait for this! Wada Akiko sounded amazing in the Love Machine performance! i love her voice..... and Genki+: i loved her solo lines in that song.....i think every Morning Musume song should have line divisions like that, cuz every member got to sing about 3 to 4 lines, even Sayumi! I would love to hear JunJun and LinLin seperately in a song.....so far theyve just been complimentary voices, blending with the rest to balance out the vocals. |

Eri fits the part better. I think she'll be able to play the part very well. But knowing UF, Ai would probably be the lead as always... I kinda see Ai as the prince though. But again, I doubt she'll have that role because it's not really a big role and of course, they will not give Ai a small role. I can see Reina as one of the evil step sisters and Gaki as the Fairy Godmother!
I'm sort of worried for LL and JJ because their Japanese isn't really great yet. But I'm sure they'll do a good job. I'm happy to see Erina going solo. Her voice is okay. She just looks too young. |

I don't know these two members. I don't really follow the H!P Eggs. Anyone has videos of them singing? I heard a lot of good things about Kikkawa though. A lot of people seem to want her as a solo artist. Gotta check her out!

Yui's pretty much following in the footsteps of Mai Satoda, and has sort of become a tarento or whatever. I think she'll still be visible, even if she's not singing.

Although I will say they won't fit in anywhere else. I at least want to see them form another group (or at least be in a group, seperated if needed). All these dormant members could end up doing something to please those of us who grew up with them. Too bad Tsunku and UpFront wouldn't ever think like that. |
As nice as it would be to see something [commercially] from those girls, I highly doubt it would be financially worthwhile for UFA. FC events and whatnot seem to be the source of income with those girls.
I'm looking forward to the Cinderella musical. Ribbon no Kishi was awesome. Milky Way and Erina solo sound cool, as well. |

yes, it has...beloved members have left, groups have disbanded, and hig profile acts have been pushed aside...and Airi and Koharu wont go away...they get too much attention, even though i do like them...
btw, am i the only one that has a hunch that Erika Miyoshi will do that solo career that was planned before v-u-den? It was thrown away and she joined v-u-den, but now that theyre over, maybe she could do the solo career she was originally going to do... AND DSCHINGHIS KHAN STILL HASNT LEAKED.... |
Erika would have made a great solo act. I also like Yui and Erika as a duet! Their voice really match well together!

i look for Yui to either do the Utadoki circuit or jump on the anime bandwagon....for some reason, i could see her doing something like Athena and Robikerottsu...her voice would fit much better than Risa's in the music....i could just see her in the costume....i would love for both Yui and Erika to do solo music, but with the dominance of the Kids and the recent announcements, I don't look for anyone else to go solo...although i would love for Ayaka and Mai to get together for a duo...they were amazing performing the Elegies song on that one concert *i think it was H!P 2005 Summer*
in a perfect world, Nakazawa Yuko and Maeda Yuki would each release an album, Ayaka and Mai would do a long-lasting duo, Inaba would get put into a random unit, and Mari would get back into action with a new unit for an anime or something...Mini Moni was genius idea from her, and the new anime units are like the children of Mini Moni haha although i know that would never happen.... |

Well, there could always be occasional collaborations such as a the Yaida and Abe single. Why not someone a little more under-exposed paired up with someone really popular (Niigaki + Ayaka; Melon + Berryz; Nakazawa + C-ute [AHAHA, I was thinking Airi at first]; Yasuda + Yaguchi + Ishikawa + Yoshizawa for a Pucchi/Tanpopo reprise), and get something worthwhile out of it? I REALLY hope they do Summer shuffles. VERY far-fetched wish, but something to really look forward to. I think instead of a single, they should do an album with everyone, as H!P is so large. I think a great theme would be something like flowers, birds, or something with so much variety. (Bara4, Himawari8, 14Kiku, etc.) Man. I miss those. I think 2003 was the BEST though. :) |

I was hoping for a little more distribution, but it's really good nonetheless. Lately H!P has been focusing on their strongest /most popular instead of trying to distibute more lines... but it's OK. I won't complain. :)

I was just thinking. I miss songs with monologues (The*Peace, Shabondama, AS FOR ONE DAY, Happy Summer Wedding). Or catchy hooks (Renai Revolution 21, The*Peace, Love Machine, Souda! We're Alive, The MANPOWER!). Hmm.
