I love the HANABI / End roll dress !! i can see why people thought it was a mermaid dress (much like Kumi's ballad outfit from Black Cherry Tour 2007).

I really expected her to sing Together When... as it's only a new song. I knew she'd skip glitter / fated and untitled ~for her~ but i'm missing "GUILTY" !! it's such a great song and she's never skipped a title track before.......

If anything it looks like Ayu's old old old Visee promo dress. :| Not like that artist's stuff.. :|

So, the MC had video letters from DJ OZMA, Mao Asada, and TRF congratulating Ayu on her 10th anniversary... a film presentation looking back on her 10 year in the business, a 1.8 meter long cake, some sort of video from her staff, and MY ALL teaching. =D

As much as I like Ayu's long poofy dresses, I actually think these type of dress flatters her figure more and makes her look taller, whereas the poofy ones tend to swallow her up.

But I actually like the tracklist this year. Unfortunately I have to wait for the DVD. :sob

I was. Yes, she did "Life". It was either totally unplanned, or scripted to seem unplanned. Yocchan said she should sing it during the MC part, then Ayu said she'd do it, then there was a bit of a wait while they all discussed with each other.

The MC part with the let's ask Ayu was only the video letters from DJ Ozma, the young chick, and TRF. Plus a mini montage-esque history video talking about her releases, concerts and such. Then we (the audience) sa g Who... for her. We were given a sheet at entry telling us when to do it. Ayu cried a lot then.

The cake was huge. The girl dancers wheeled a table out on to the stage, and the boy dancers brought the cake up from the side of the runway. They said it was too difficult to take it through the back of the stage because it's all stairs.

Why aren't there vids up yet? For non-Asian concerts tons of vids always pop up after only one concert. o.o

^ Because in Western concerts they don't try to stop you taking photos and filming. In Japanese concerts, they will confiscate your camera, or take your memory card. They might even kick you out. O__O

Plus Japanese people frown on it and usually glare at you. xD

We'll get some videos when they start having the Asian concerts. (they dont care that much in HK etc)

I love that she cried during My All...what I love about her is her stage presence, this might be her first concert I will have watched since My Story Tour...I really wish she would have performed Never Ever, or Scar, or even Heartplace...but this sounds promising enough.

It's right in HK coliseum... :p
But if ayu had a concert in HK this year, it probably will move to the Asia-world expo arena since HK coliseum are under renovation after June 08..

on the mirrorcle world performance, they creat a "sea" of clouds that is below the ship so it looks like it's flying!!!

Asia-world expo is a better venue than the coliseum, I say. It can actually fit the whole runway to the circle stage...

i think it still depends. 1st, it's up to the artist, also the venue. That's generally the deal for USA. lastly, how unified each individual 'event security' person is at upholding the policy. clearly on avg, some will not care as much as others. some would rather just stand there, not raise a hand to break a sweat.... as he/she is still getting paid the same regardless if they tell 10 people or 0 to put away the camera.

In China Shanghai last yr I saw some examples of event staff lasering people in the audience that they were able to catch snapping pics. Again some, i saw some that didnt care. I was not tagged once for filming and snapping.

But no where I guess, does the audience itself frown upon themselves like apparently Japanese do.


i appreciate it too but i think she can almost cry herself on cue, for any song of hers, she just saves it for the end.

take it another way, she can probably block herself from crying if she tried but i think she just lets it happen, it doesn't hurt the whole audience experience, adding to it.

it's also healthy to cry.

You know, the first press for this year's album (since it's gonna be such a special 10th anniversary album) could be a ticket to a secret concert, one that would have nothing but unnusual songs that she almost never sings! It would come on DVD though, despite being secret ('cause I'd want to watch it, of course XD)~
Oo the DVD could be an extra disk 3 when she releases the countdown live... though now that I think about it, would she haven enough time to release an album & make a secret concert before the countdown live? 'Cause the albums are realeased really close to the end of the year, right?

i hope she performs Life more...i really want to see it on the DVD

some of the outfits are nice and the others are so-so, but i do not think i can really judge from pics alone. during AT07 last year, someone posted pictures on their blog from one of the first tour dates that he was able to attend. i was not really impressed by the outfits then, but after seeing them in the performances in the DVD (err well my DVDrip files lol) I really liked them. I'm sure most of them will be amazing when we see them in performance

It's the same as the PV one with a pink ribbon. The entire performance is a remake of the PV on stage.
