@GRACE Usually the sales but if they are getting noticed before hand, then most likely an article would come out talking about the promising debuter. That's what I think, but there could be other ways than this. IMO, I think she will do very well.

Well so far a lot of Mana fans have really warmed up to her. She was also in the magazine FOOL'S MATE, but it was only a little piece.

I'm really hoping to see Kanon in GLB, hopefully modelling Moi-meme-Moitie, and the next issues released 20th May so I'm going to be keeping my eye out to see if she appears in it.

I really have to agree with you there. The previews sounded stunning, but after that part of the song it really doesn't seem to go anywhere. It's much less dark and forceful than that part made it seem the whole song would be. I'm let down, but I still like the song. Hopefully her future songs really showcase her unique style in a better way. The PV's beautiful and eerie though.

As for her success in Japan, I don't think she will have much. I'm sure she'll have the support of fans of Vampire Knight, but I don't see much beyond that. A mainstream successful career just wouldn't seem to fit someone with her musical style.

As a debut, I think it's a brilliant song though.
I'm rarely impressed with debuts but this was impressive to me, especially for a female of the genre.

I think she'll have a bigger following/success in Europe rather than Japan, which is what I'm expecting really. Europe has warmed up to her a lot more than Japan has. I'd hate for her to go Mainstream, she wouldn't suit.

I'd like to see Kanon in Mon+amour's Madousho, since it deals with behind the scenes and what Mana gets up to when he's not in the public eye so I'm guessing it would include something about Kanon and the PV shooting/making the single and stuff. Bad thing is though that if Kanon was in there I can't post it since it's against the rules of Mon+amour and I'd seriously get my ass kicked by other Mon+amour members/Mana.

When I first listened to it from my friend's mp3 I thought the song was cheesy and boring LOL xD...but I got used to it. Other than the song being a little too short I think it's awesome! I kind of have to agree that it doesn't go anywhere (there could've been a little something extra added in somewhere), but I still love it either way. The cello part is :love! I <3 cellos A LOT.

Europe loves music of this style and image. France and Germany especially.
I believe Moi Dix Mois and the like are very popular there as well as the UK.

Exactly what ~ayu-cake~ said. Moi dix Mois are hugely popular in Europe, mainly France and Germany and the UK are just catching up due to bands like the GazettE. A huge part of Kanon's popularity is due to Mana's producing and composing her music, since in Europe he's renound for his beautiful guitar playing and musical skills, which is why Moi dix Mois' tours focus on Europe; Germany (they played five dates there last year) and France most of the time. I think they only ever do Dis Inferno in Japan and that's the only time they play there and most of their promoting is done in Europe.

Apparantely Kanon's making her live debut at Japan Expo in France, which is held from the 3 - 6 in July. The official site doesn't say anything about it yet so I'm not sure if it's true but last year Anna Tsuchiya performed there, along with the band Dio -Distraught overlord. Everybody's hoping she's bringing Mana along with her if she's there. XD He hasn't attended an expo in a while.

Ugh, there's a silly rumour going around that Moi dix Mois are on Hiatus. x_x I've had to spend the past hour 'calming' silly Mana fangirls who I'd rather throttle. They think since Mana's producing Kanon and Seth's in a side band that Moi dix Mois aren't doing anything anymore.

So far I've heard "Vain" and "Deus Ex Machina" - really good reminds me alot of Rammstein

deus ex machina is a good song. My favourites are pessimisite, Night Breed, Front et Baiser, Glorie dans le Silence, unmoved and Monophobia. I'd recommend listening to all four (five if you count the DIXANADU instrumental version) of their albums.

It's a girl in front of a piano holding a mask and some balloons. (She has a cat shaped balloon too~) She says she likes the color combination, black and yellow, and would like to try it sometime.

Yeah~ One of her extra hobbies is drawing and art. She could release a book full of work, I think she's that good. She makes whatever I draw look like silly stick people compared to her stuff.

Kanon's site says she'll be appearing in Kera, which is a magazine that Nana Kitade is frequent in, and it's something about an article with Mana. And Kanon will also be appearing in FOOLS MATE and it says something about the scenery of the PV so maybe a behind the scenes?

We've been blessed with a new picture in her picture diary.
Kanon must really like cats.
It kinda looks like a story of how she got her big white dress outfit.
Kanon also says that her white dress took 50m of material, but I'm not sure if she's talking just about the petticoat underneath or the whole dress. She says she wanted to be a princess.
The head-dress and accessories were all hand-made too~ I'd love to know who made the accessories.

She needs to make an artbook :heart
