QUESTION: Will Mirrorcle World chart in this week's weekly singles chart with these one-day sales?
And by this week, I mean the week when L'arc~en~Ciel is on top.

I like the sales so far ^_^ Hopefully it will stay steady/ go up on second day sales, since it's the day singles are usually released.

I don't know, I really really thought this would be selling like BLUE BIRD, it just seemed like people were really feeling the song! But it's way too early to say things like this! This is just the first day sales, and I absolutely hate being that kind of a negative person that says the sales are bad when there is only one day as an indicator.. so I will just wait and see :)

Well I think it will be hard for MW to be #1 for 2 weeks but it depends on the drops (which are always nig in ayu's case T_T) but she has good first week sales.

glitter/fated was double a-side. Mirrorcle World is just 1 a-side and it's not mainstream (I mean something the japanese like, like a summer single) so MW's doing great at this point.
I don't get the whole 4 versions thingy though, it's just 2 versions and both have CD only and CD+DVD =P. It's not there are 4 different songs lol.

I never buy singles either, and I bought this one... only one copy, 'cause I don't have a lot of money, but I'd totally buy the 2 CD+DVD limited versions if I could. Meh, I guess I shoudn't expect too much of the sales just because it's the Anniversary, but a "miracle" or something would be nice.
I guess just selling more than T2M is an accomplishment. Hopefully she'll come up with something interesting for the summer single, though... something that would sell like Blue Bird. Or at least more the glitter.

Well I never buy singles, but this time I buy both deluxe versions. When I preordered it I didn't think about sales, but rather I think about this is the celebration for her 10th anniversary :yes. I guess lots of ayu fans (who don't usually buy singles) share common thought.

I wouldn't of bought all 4 copies if it wasn't 10th anniversary...instead I would of bought 2. I didn't think about the sales when I bought them...I just want to own them!..lol...If ayu continues to release singles like this with multiple versions and 10th anniversary version songs for the rest of this year, I will buy them all...lol

why do ppls times the sales by 1.75? =S

Not all cd stores in Japan submit the numbers everyday. Those cd stores usually give the numbers to oricon at the end of the week. So the index shown in oricon are just an estimate guess of what the total sales should be. Singles will have 1.75 factor, while albums usually have 1.7.

let's say the predicted sales onward could be

Day 3: 6000
Day 4: 4000
Day 5: 3500
Day 6: 4000
Day 7: 4000

So the total index of those 5 days would be 21500, so with the 1.75 factor the sales would be about 37625 copies.. with 65686 copies sold on the first 2 days, the 100K for the first week is a hit or miss.. (Note: I'm just randomly guessing the indexes.. The figures could be better than I expect... OR worse than above..)

But oh well I can't really tell if she'll be no 1 tomorrow. Other artists are having a "2nd day" sales, but she'll be in her "3rd day". 羞耻心 may still have around 10000 - 8000 on the 2nd day, but MW should have less than that..

But either way she should be no. 1 weekly for sure..

yup & also the no. reflected on the Oricon site are not really accurate . You have to multiply by 1.7 for albums & 1.75 for singles to get a more accurate & estimated no.

I am just glad that her sales aren't going nowhere ^^ and are pretty steady, unlike a few other female artists who barely sell more than 50 k with each new single. I don't think the amount of PVs help that much, as "H " and "A" had no PVs but are still among Ayu's best selling singles.
