Ok, there will be a Live DVD of her Love Para Tour 2010. Released on DVD and Blu Ray. It will be released on the 18th of August.

And the trailer for Ooku - The Inner Chamber was just released. I still harbor a secret hope that Kou will also sing for this, her music fits this movie just so much better than Arashi's.

Yes, Tsuki no Shizuku is probably my second favourite! It's so beautiful, calm at first and the way it builts up and the whole compositions with the violins. It's a great song.

I just listened to Tsuki no Shizuku on the Love & Ballad Selection. It calls itself Album Version, but Tsuki no Shizuku was also on Kous debut album Mitsu, and that version sounded different. The vocals are also different. I don't know why they changed it. The Original Version is so perfect. :( Maybe it's just because I'm used to the original version but it sounds weird to me.

It's possible. It's like Ayu who re-recorded old song as you or to be.

Maybe kou just judged that her vocal wasn't good & wanted to improve the song.

Yes, I assume that she resung it. But I don't really get why, it's not like her vocal ability is any different than back then. She sounds the same to me, I even like the older version better.

Oh, yes I wanna see Ohoku so much. I really love that she is playing another strong female character, you don't get that to often in Japan. She's one of the few actresses that doesn't play into the cute/protect me category and I really enjoy her acting.

I can't really talk about her acting because I only watched one drama with her. It was GALILEO. She was really good on it. I like that drama.

It's Goddess Kou Shibasaki!!!! She's a singer and an actress, too. She was born 5th of August 1981 in Tokyo and has released 4 original albums so far. My favourite would be Love Paranoia. For songs, my favourite ballad of hers is Kage, but Tsuki no Shizuku, Sweet mom, Honto da yo and Taisetsu ni suru yo are also great. She has another project with Fukuyama Masaharu her acting partner in Galileo that is called KOH+. You can try out Saiai. It's a beautiful song. For faster songs you can try out Kiss shite or lover soul. For her discography check the first post, Glamorous_Sky recently posted an update. Kou Shibasakis real name is Yukie Yamamura.

I admit I do see a certain resemblance between these two. Their facial structure is similar. But Kou is goddess and rules them all, so yeah for more music. She is also going to be in a new drama in the Winter season.

Hmmmm....her acting is really fake :/ No offense....and the makeup looked really bad in the PV, like she had been beat up and has 2 colorful black eyes. It worked better on the cover. The cat ears refer to Kous logo. Which is some sort of peace sign with cat ears. Kind of like the Ayu A.

I wonder if Kou sings live in her concerts. I'm actually thinking of buying Love Para Tour DVD, because I watched the TV Version from WOWOW, but she sounds like the recording, almost identically. If she really is that good I must say I'm totally amazed by her abilities. There are very few singers who can pull that off. I'm very skeptical, though. But I don't want to buy the concert if she's lipsynching.

It's not as good as EUPHORIA but it's not bad for me. I like it. There are only a few Kou songs I don't like and I think Mukei Spirit is a good song. She is slowly getting closer to a new album with her material. I hope she will release one this fall. Then it's been 2 years since Love Para. (I don't count the ballad collection as an original album)

Kou has her own twitter since a few weeks ago. She had a live presentation a few weeks ago via U-stream for CIRCLE CYCLE (from Bulgaria where she was filming 47 Ronin). When I watched the stream I knew it was the right decision to order this album. It's just great pop music. Yes, CIRCLE CYCLE is an amazing album. There are only 13 tracks. Love Paranoia felt longer for some reason. If you have any money to spare at all just go and buy this album. You won't regret it.

I've just listened to Kou for to first time (Mukei Spirit) and I'm very much in love with the song. I'm going to listen to Circle Cylcle (since that's the most recent album and has most likely a similar style?), but can someone recommend me some of her older stuff? I'm not that into ballads, though hers don't seem to be that boring, but maybe she has some good upbeat stuff too? Thanks in advance :).

^I've always liked her ballads the most out of all her songs tbh. I haven't even listened to CIRCLE CYCLE myself yet. I'm still waiting until I buy it. But if you're gonna download that one anyways, I guess it doesn't matter. These are my favorites separated into type. I love all of these:
