My goodness xD

edit: YAY NEVER EVER INITIATE!

ayuready1232 7th January 2009 02:50 AM

Im planning on joining team ayu so do fan club members get to reserve tickets or something?

jimex289 7th January 2009 02:51 AM

I'd imagine they get priority. I'm not exactly sure how it works...

Queen Bee 7th January 2009 02:59 AM

I'm surprised yet not surprised all at the same time that Ayu will be touring this year. I have a feeling though that she might be performing Sparkle and Rule during the tour.

taskinillusion 7th January 2009 04:02 AM

I'm glad she's sticking to Japan this year. Maybe it won't wear her out.. uh... as much? LOL.

Evolution7/4 7th January 2009 04:04 AM

Is Fukuoka or Kagoshima (or anything in southern/minami Japan) on there?

Sort of. Do you live in Japan?

There are two Fukuoka dates, otherwise the furthest south is Hiroshima.

Evolution7/4 7th January 2009 04:07 AM

^ No Fukuoka. :(

No no, there are. I missed them the first time around so I edited my post.

Evolution7/4 7th January 2009 04:09 AM

Ahh ok. :) If there was anyway in the world I could go to Japan I would probably stay in kagoshima again, thats not too far from Fukuoka. :)

I envy you xD; I wish I could just go to Japan to see somebody, goodness gracious lol!

Seiko Yua 7th January 2009 07:07 AM

yeah, it's good she's taking a break from the asia tour. i think she's been riding that horse a little too long since she's about 1-2 months overdue for a new album. you can't forget your roots!

ALfromHELLSING 7th January 2009 07:45 AM

That's cool! Thanx for the news! Man, I need to buy Anniversary DVD TOUR ASAP, but I'm broke... (T_T)
I only dislike TOUR name, it's sounds too plain...
And she need at least one, month break. GOD, she's really a workaholic! But that's our Ayu! (^o^)

KarenPang 7th January 2009 07:45 AM

that's 1 really seriously tight/packed schedule @_@

:) I'm sure you can, you just have to save save save. But for me, it has certainly helped having parents in the military because there is a hotel in Tokyo that is strictly for military and their family members and the rates are extremely cheap, so my biggest expense for any trip is always the flight and the concert tickets themselves. So I'm lucky that I don't have to worry about hotel cost at all really. And then I just got really lucky on this trip that Gackt, Namie, and Hello Project are all having Tokyo area concerts within the same two weeks the only thing that would make it more perfect is if Ayu was too.

SURREAL__RAINBOW 7th January 2009 08:26 AM

she should do an "america/europe tour" someday :D

but I would like her to have another album more, with maybe a couple of songs in English first ^^

I need to start utilizing my parents military benefits! Jeez!!!!!

alternarist 7th January 2009 09:09 AM

ayu is now able to speak english. She has been to non-english speaking places for concerts (Shanghai and HK).. i dont see why she cant go anywhere else.

ARENA? one doesnt need to hold a concert at the arena.. just a space big enough will do..

at most, hold it at a STADIUM! then we can have a WORLD STADIUM TOUR 2010!

extepan 7th January 2009 10:55 AM

gosh another tour. does she ever have a break from touring?

NintendoHTF1242 7th January 2009 10:58 AM

Seems like she focuses more on touring rather than writing songs / composing them / releasing albums >>

aura~ 7th January 2009 12:09 PM

^ if I were japanese I would be happy with that cause i'd be able to see her frecuently and so... (and really singers earn much more money with concerts than with albums if I'm not wrong)

but... we are poooor international fans... and i want new material rather than concerts T___T so I hope you are wrong and ayu will make new songs for us while touring..

-_____-

Bad Wolf 7th January 2009 12:27 PM

Awesome, just an Arena Tour! I'm glad she wasn't making Asia Tour an every year thing, though I can see her doing some extra dates later in the year as a 'mini tour' in some places. It'd probably be a little rude if she neglected those places after proving how successful she can be there.

Ayumi27 7th January 2009 12:35 PM

I just hope she surprise us with a brand-new stage this year, I'm getting tired of the same AT2005 setup...
But she's Ayu, the show will be great anyway

Blasterion 7th January 2009 12:58 PM

It would be great if she'd change the stage setup... how about just a big centerstage? :D

Dan.C 7th January 2009 01:50 PM

^neah, it would look interesting but it would be very difficult for her to go all the way backstage and change costumes and catch a breath...

not to mention that it wouldn't be possible for her to appear and disappear in the floor unless it's a high center stage -> strongly NOT recommendable with ayu's sense of balance

Hatix 7th January 2009 02:03 PM

Great! Now I can plan my vacation :D
Will be going to one of the two concert in Yokohama.

Batera 7th January 2009 02:23 PM

Ooh man,
My dream is to go in a Ayu concert... but here from Brazil to Japan is a long way far...
And the price is a little expensive!
But I've made a resolution this year, I'll try the best to save my money up, then I'll be able to go there...

Ayumi27 7th January 2009 03:24 PM

@Blasterion: Yeah, I love the idea, I'd be completely different from what she has been during in her latest tours :D

It's not that hard... Celine Dion does it all the time, and changes costumes below the center stage itself, and that way changes are faster and interludes shorter

Hahaha

Ayu's sense of balance

It would be possible if she puts the 'backstage' to the side of the concert hall.

ren0210989 7th January 2009 06:24 PM

3months of touring for our Ayu^^
it's awsome that she's doing an Arena Tour and not an Asia tour. it's less stressfull for her :D
i can't wait to see some new material 8D (singles, album)

BluishDays 7th January 2009 07:04 PM

So the Arena Tour begins in April. . .

I was wondering if Ayu would release a new album before this tour. . . Well Rule will be out by then . . So we'll have Green/Days and Rule as the new songs for the tour. Guess we'll have to wait and see ^_^

blue bird 7th January 2009 08:06 PM

Since Rule is the theme song of movie shown worldwide, do you think she might perform, maybe not full concert but song or two, in other countries too? Well in America for starters since itīs a Hollywood movie.

I don't think that'll happen unless avex really wants to promote her in other countries. When her Arena Tour '09 starts she'll be quite busy. Traveling around to other countries to give performances while doing the Arena Tour is probably not a good idea. I guess there's some time in March but she'll be rehearsing.

Sironigous 7th January 2009 09:08 PM

Wow... o_o...

... Well, do you think she'll still have performances outside of Japan? Those fans would be rather sad... :S

ASIA... No ARENA TOUR!!!! HERE WE GO!

AT RETURNED!

jimex289 7th January 2009 09:10 PM

Lol they got two year's worth of her. Now it's back to Japan.

polka-dot-jewel 7th January 2009 11:12 PM

Does anyone know when general sale tickets go on sale? I'm hoping my friend in Japan can get me a ticket when during the first sale of tickets... lol

Can't wait! Interesting how it's just ARENA TOUR... but, the title's pending, so it may or may not change into ASIA TOUR or something else.

oneheart 7th January 2009 11:43 PM

Hopefully it's better than Arena tour 2006.

Do you guys think she'll have a theme?

Kikaru 8th January 2009 12:11 AM

Not surprised at the news, since she always have an Arena tour every year. But I actually hope there isn't an Asia Section this year, because it has to be tiring, and given all the issues she got with health in 2008, I hope she take better care of herself in 2009.

I'm guessing there would either be a single or an album in March around the DB release, because it makes sense for the tie in and the song to release at the same date for promotional values.

TITANIC 8th January 2009 12:33 AM

ughh, No asia tour?? :(

24 shows overall are big

jimex289 8th January 2009 01:45 AM

Haha it can still be an Asia tour. This time Asia will come TO HER. Lol.

zallow 8th January 2009 05:40 AM

I was planning to go to Indonesia in march, I'll definitely try to make it. Anybody could help me get tickets? I was thinking of doing the 7-11 way, if it still works.

Blasterion 8th January 2009 08:12 AM

^ does that mean free tix too? :P

I'd come! :D

Melrose 8th January 2009 12:13 PM

7-11? What's that? ^^

keikeiaznqueen 8th January 2009 12:27 PM

I'm in Japan around April, and I hope to travel to Saitama to see the concert there if possible!! :O About the 7-11 way of getting tickets, I'm going to try to register on eplus to buy tickets there and then get them printed at 7-11...

Neo Daydream 8th January 2009 01:31 PM

ugh i wanna go! but i don`t know if I can get back to Japan that soon! >.<

Aga-chan 8th January 2009 01:40 PM

I also wonder if there's going to be a new album before the tour. Or at least around the start of the tour. If not an album than probably a new single.

I wish she would strech the tour dates more. But I guess that's not possible, because of a-nation.

This is what i wanted to do, but i can't read a single word of japanese. I wanted to go to the Saitama concert too, either 11 or 12th i don't know. How does it work exactly? Why is there 2 days for practically every city? Is it just to accomodate more people to see the show? Do you get access to both days with one ticket? Probably not eh? hehe

I don't know if it works anymore. First of all, only some shows even have the 7/11 option, but secondly it seems e-plus may have stopped accepting foreign credit cards - which, as a foreigner is your only way to pay. You may have no choice but to go through the resale route.

jimex289 9th January 2009 08:18 AM

Resale route is the expensive route sadly too lol.

Ayunk 9th January 2009 09:27 AM

Back to the arena tours. I guess it'll be less stress for ayu ? :S

I guess so :rolleyes
anyway at yahoo auctions they often sell tickets in pairs and I'm going alone to her two concerts in SSA [4/11 & 4/12]... if someone else is going alone please let me know because we could buy a ticket for each one where tickets sold in pairs, please if you're interested send me a PM, thank you ^^

Blasterion 9th January 2009 03:28 PM

or just buy tickets at the reseller shops, those can be pretty cheap too sometimes,
especially when you buy them on the day of the show ;)

jimex289 9th January 2009 06:33 PM

The seats would be a concern...if they are cheap that might mean bad seating.

MissElin_ 9th January 2009 06:36 PM

^Yeah, youre probably right. I will try on yahoo auctions for my ticket... Gosh, its gonna be a thriller. :P
I would love to go with someone, anyone who is planning to catch the last show in yoyogi keep in touch!

aura~ 9th January 2009 07:43 PM

^if I can go i'll go the last concert in yoyogi.. or the last 2... XDD I can't be travelling at the end of school-year... and these two are the only shows in holidays...

I hope i can go T___T

please muuum *o* (bright eyer to hypnotize her! jaja)

jimex289 10th January 2009 02:55 AM

jimex289 10th January 2009 05:18 AM

ayuayu798 10th January 2009 06:07 PM

Yum!Fruit_Salad! 10th January 2009 06:23 PM

SunshineSlayer, does the military hotel thing work only for active members?

kiseki 10th January 2009 06:25 PM

If HA didn't release an album, then what songs are going to be included in this tour?

Evolution7/4 10th January 2009 06:41 PM

^Green, days, and probably Rule and Sparkle

jbrat2219 10th January 2009 08:01 PM

I hope during this tour a single or something is released... Rule is coming out by the end of January right? or is that Sparkle?

Batera 10th January 2009 08:27 PM

I think she'll release the Sparkle single at the final of the month...
Rule is a song that maybe will be released within Dragon Ball movie.

But imo there'll be a album before the tour starts...

Oh really eh? That's too bad. I guess i'm gonna have to print a bunch of reseller locations and go shopping when i get there then... bummer. I'll still try and let you guys know. I'll ask my japanese friend to help me out when the tickets go on sale.

krazeyo 11th January 2009 12:18 AM

I really doubt that she'll release an album before the tour starts. She usually releases an album then rehearses for 3 months or so for the tour, unless she decides that the album songs won't be used for the tour O_o..

For her to release an album, it'd have to be something like:
1) Album news around Nov/Dec/Jan
2) Album released Jan/Feb (3 months~ to rehearse songs)
3) Tour starts in April

jbrat2219 11th January 2009 12:32 AM

That doesn't leave her much time! She better announce it soon!

There will definitely be a Rule single though. Maybe a mini album? Who knows.

jimex289 11th January 2009 08:18 PM

Its open to retiree's for sure and reserves as well I believe.* But active duty gets priority, as do the higher ranks.* Also, because I've gotten a few messages about this - this is only for the US military! Obviously the US military is the only organization that would have such a relationship with Japan. :) Olivia stays at the hotel often from what I have heard.

You have to book months, sometimes up to a year in advance. It is always booked because it is so cheap and there are many military bases in Japan so all the members stay there when they come to Tokyo. Also, I'm not clear whether dependants can stay there on their own or not, it may be necassary to have the actual sponsor there too. My Mother is a Navy Captain that loves Ayu too, so I've never had any problems. :)

jbrat2219 12th January 2009 06:49 PM

You're so lucky ;_;... Do you think next time you go, I could go with you? lol j/k

Just sell it to him as a Tokyo vacation for the whole family. :) Maybe active duty dependants can go on their own, but I really don't know - you'd have to do some research.

Keiichi_JPU 12th January 2009 06:54 PM

I'll have to wait until 2010 / 2011 before I can go to Japan for college.

I really hope Ayu will have Arena Tour 2010 or Asia Tour 2011 lol!

I can't die without ever going to an Ayu concert! Or possibly Hikki's lol, but I need to be REALLY lucky for that xD

A mini-album sounds great. MA is my favorite album. ^^

I honestly hope she'll sing JEWEL. The next single won't have a ballad probably (if Sparkle / Rule will be on it) so I hope so much she'll sing JEWEL. >< If got to see JEWEL live I'd cry me heart out lol~

There were two girls a few seats down from me going "Awwww" and stuff and I just went over to them, still sobbing, and hugged them. Lol. They just kinda looked at me weird and gave me a hug back. Lol.

^ Whoa. Good thing they didn't scream and run away when a stranger hugged them :laugh

Some of you are already planning to go. How lucky T___T Even if I got the money (which I don't) I wouldn't be able to go anyway, damn A Levels in the way :weeP

all.night.raver, same with me....
when i saw ayu's consert, i cried a lot
because it's like a dream come true, you know...
it's very difficult to go to ayu consert if you're not in japan or non-japanese

and tomorrow morning after that consert,
i forgot everything, maybe i was too excited
it's just like a dream, and when i woke up, it's blur...
but i'm glad and happy ^_^

^ Exactly! It was definitely the ultimate dream come true for me. Then suddenly, it was all over. It was just so much to take in! It was like... "What do I do NOW!?" Lol. I wrote my entire recollection in a journal on the way back to USA during my flight and cried as well while listening to the tracks in order she performed during the concert. I remember most of it, but as of now it's mostly because of seeing the videos and pictures. It's hard for me to put myself back in the position during each song. It really does seem other-wordly.

Yeah!! lol I'd love to go with another Ayu fan again! How are you getting your ticket?

Ehum well, I will probably get my hopes up for yahoo auctions. Last time I had a friend who tried to call for a ticket but they got sold out in like 15 minutes so I had to go the yahoo auctions way... But it worked just fine.

Just kidding!

You crazi~ xD If I did manage to see Ayu, I'd cry at least once! If not naturally I'd act lol. It's very appropriate for a concert like that~

@all.night.raver: Yea I read that. ^^ Awesome~^^

@Arenia: Aw you forgot everything? >< Were you drunk?

@Ayumi27: Yup, in the main set list with Days. I think it makes a really good pair, as they're both sweet love songs and wintery. But encore is fine too for me, as long as she does it lol.
