It's been awhile since I've dropped by...O.O
I listened to the Secret Code and I'm a little disappointed. I ended up only liking two of the new songs... But I guess it shouldn't have come as much of a surprise since I didn't enjoy many of the single-releases last year. It's such a shame that after such a strong album like T, we receive something a little lackluster like this. Their vocals sound very strained, and I'm a bit worried about that because it brings to the table an argument about them being overworked. Of course, that doesn't cover up the horrible arranging...It's just too experimental to me. I hope the next album and single-release season is better than this one. ^_^ And is it just me or does Secret Game sound like a potential mashup song? It would be great for them to turn that track into a full-length one. I'd love to see them doing the jazz-thing. |

I wouldn't say they released too many singles. They released 5 singles that's around the amount other artists release that amount like Ai Otsuka, for LOVE PIECE she released 5 singles and look at Ayumi in her past years, she released 5 singles before releasing her albums.

i'm not really feeling this album either. i actually enjoyed most of the singles (especially doushite) so the new tracks are a major disappointment for me. i love stand up! and 9096, but i don't see the rest of the album growing on me.
the share the world covers are cute, i prefer jacket B. it's nice to see that one of the covers isn't a picture of a wall or some random actress :yes |
To be honest the only songs I like on the album are the previous singles excluding "Beautiful you / Sennen Koi Uta" and "Secret Game" (seems like an intro song to me). FORCE and TAXI sounds okay but not for me.

I think you can only release "too many singles" if you don't have that many new album tracks, otherwise it's fine.

I actually thought their album was pretty decent. They're a pretty hit and miss band to begin with, Beautiful you STILL doesn't sound good, but other than that, the album was decent.

i thought all of their release singles were awesome, and to be in one album i know it'll be a great album. to those who want to purchase their cds/dvds/etc, YESASIA has cut MOST of the prices off for tohoshinki/DBSK stuff. ive been trying to get their 2nd asia tour first press dvd and it went up to $140-170 O_O i dont have that kind of money.

^Yeah but when you buy the stuff (singles, albums) you want to do it to support the artist and help them chart on the Oricon. Buying from YesAsia does not help Tohoshinki in the long run, so I would not recommended you buy the album from there.

i want to go so badly to DBSK or an ayumi concert. i bet you had the time of your life ayumixx. heck, i would haha. i would go but i can hardly speak any asian language. im thai and if i was to go to thailand...id be like.. i can understand u but thats it LOL i recieved my stuff from YA, i love their darkness eyes performance in T concert<3

you're not living in Thai? because DBSK often goes to Thai.. like last 2 days, they went to Thai for YAMAHA event, then on 27-28 June, they will hold their 3rd asia tour there~~ oh yess Darkness eyes performance in T concert is the best for me as well :) |
