WTF!? When the ***** does she say THAT!?

Well... I just love the irony About You have... it's not particulary genious, but it still a interesting side of her... the same with Easy Breezy, after knowing what she was talking about (this song is meant to be a joke), it got much better. I really like how she compare herself to a prostitute on Hotel Lobby, after all, a popstar career is not all happiness... There are some interesting word plays on The Workout, like the "Far East" thing (making reference to the Far West). TippyToe, Wonder'bout, Kremlin Dusk, Animato are very interesting also, you can read so many things with what she sings... She feeling powerful cause she's having sex with a family man (and making fun of his situation), all the "I don't give a damn about you", but, still she can't stop think about he, can she? And the way she keeps repeating "I don't care about you anymore... with who are you sleeping? Well, doesn't matter, I don't care about you... hm... what are you doing now? But I still don't care" in wonder'bout...

I think it's very nice how she is not describing a situation... she is a character on her songs... and the character is not talking about her life, she is aways talking about what she is doing, what she is seeing, and it's up to you to get what the hell is she talking about and what is she feeling :P

I think it is complex cause is not the kind of thing you can easily translate, cause if you do so, you lost all the interpretation she song offers... and it's not very easy to write things in that way... It's full of irony, untold feelings, untold situation... But it can sound very plain too if you are not interested in what she is talking about... it's what she talked she likes to do in the end... music with layers...^^

Lol Hikki is just being straightforward in TMMB nothing wrong with that.

The track I was most eagerly awaiting was Automatic 2, so why are there previews for all songs except that one? (and me muero)

On & On is up as well. All three previews is so awesome especially On & On. Is it me or those Hikki voice just sound so sexy in Poppin'? lol I have to admit that I kinda "turned on" by her voice. OMG so lezzbie. juju She kinda sounded like Beyonce for a minute for some reason to me too. I like This One a lot too. I just hope Hikki realizes that if her next single is upbeat/dance-y that she must do a dance rountine. u_u She can start off easy with Poppin'. :yes

Anyway, after listening to all the previews, i can say that I am not disappointed at all. I loved every single preview. Hikki never fails to impress me....ok maybe with UB but other than that, she really never disappoints me. I think this album is gonna be better than Exodus imo. Hope so.

but anyway...I think it's interesting that hikki says you know, she just wants to make a good pop album like tlc or ace of base...because all these songs to me...kinda sound like utada hikaru + a mainstream sounds lol

does that make sense? like to me, while the influences are definitely there...it still sounds like the old her (with different lyrics). To me, it's still really different...it's not quite like everything else we always hear on the radio.

Taking My Money Back and This one are kinda on the same level for me though.

The "Did I turn you on" cracks me up in Poppin'. Turning guys on is always funny to me...some girls get like freaked out...i always thought it was cute...but like...the lyrics in that one is hilarious...

the song is horrid though...it's like...a joke song, like Bling Bling Bling by kuu...in fact...I think it would have been awesome if it was "Poppin' feat. Koda Kumi" :laugh

i think i like FYI, Dirty Desire, Apple & Cinnamon, & This One are the best out of the previews so far (...but FYI leaked. xD)

not really digging the rest, but opinions change after the full, like my opinion of "FYI" completely changed after the leak. but...i did LOL out of embarassment at Poppin'.

On and On is a bit unmemorable, This One is actually pretty good. But Poppin' is like Dr. Way too messy for my liking. FYI is one of my favorites right now. The instrumentation is so awesome omg <3

I don't like any of the songs besides FYI, the ballads like Come back to me and This one are really similar as they use exactly the same instruments and they're full of babies. And the other songs all sound the same to me, as they are all about generic beats. The first Utada/UH album I won' be liking since First Love. Poppin' made me vomit parts of my brain.

edit: So now that I've got A&C and TMMB, A&C is nice and I can listen to it, though the bass is still annoying.
TMMB has a realistic story to it, prolly many ghetto girls will like it - I simply don't, the beats are quite generic as I previously said - so no biggie here.

I just searched google and all I found was the full version of Taking My Money Back, which I don't really care about anyway.

A+C sounds much better in full. It's so slow but catchy. TMMB the lyrics are still love but the beat is not my favorite, but it sounds much better than I thought during the preview. Come Back To Me is sounding so much better to me.
