Album leaked @ KMC.

As expected the only album tracks I like is LOVE MACHINE GUN and No one else. Thankfully though I enjoyed the singles and I didn't buy the singles so this album was a good purchase but it's her weakest album in my opinion. HEART had some of her most amazing singles (losin', ENDLESS STORY, Faith, Precious), WISH had great album tracks (alone again, Power of Love, Wish, A Long Walk) DREAM is just... there.

I see what she was trying to do with this album. Alot of the song sound like you could play them on a beach. Some play at night and others during the day. GATE would not have fit into this album.

And here I thought DREAM wasn't going to as good as WISH. It's better IMO. This is a TOTAL summer album.

love you=I still don't like the song. It needs to disappear and fast.
Ima Demo Aitai yo...=Can't get enough of this song. It is so freaking amazing.
Brand New World=My opinion on this song changes every time I hear it and IDK why. But I love it at the moment.
Koi wa groovyx2=Same as Brand New World.
trust you=I'm a sucker for ballads, especially Yuna's ballads. I loved it when it was released and I still do.
BAILA BAILA=OMFG! I LOVE THIS SONG. A perfect summer song, you just want to get up and dance when you hear this song.
BREEEEEZIN!!!!!=A next prefect summer song. For me it's the same as BAILA BAILA.
miss you=The sad summer break-up song or whatever it's suppose to be. Alls I knows is that it's a ballad and it's a Yuna ballad. I have nothing else to say.
LOVE MACHINE GUN=Why not Why not like this song? I mean why not LOVE it? This song is one of the best songs I've heard from Yuna. It was worth the almost year long wait.
No one else=Another Yuna ballad. So of course I like it. Other than those (not really) reasons I like the music and her voice, she did a AMAZING job with this song. Should have been a single. It is that great.
Body=I'm on the boarder with this song.

groovyx2=YES! Yuna's twin sister, Christina Ito makes an appearance! AMAZING! I love the ending when she's all "ah ah ah ah". I love Xtina.

I think it is a little to earlier for her doing a best album and I don't want her doing it, but since she works into japanese music industry, and we all know how it works around there, so I think is not impossible ^^.

from the first listen album is alright. nothing amazing, but good. Ima demo aitai yo and brand new world are stand outs for me. love you and this two groovyx2 songs i find the weakest. other songs are average. i need few more listens to maybe like somethin more or less, its totally summerish album, thats too obvious in baila baila song.

so i just finished the album. it wasn't bad, honestly. i loved each track except for "love you" and "BAILA BAILA", lol. but i think i still prefer WISH overall. i'll listen to DREAM more throughout the week, so i think it'll grow on me.

Okay, I just got around listening to DREAM... hmm one sentence I would use for DREAM is:

"Filled with meh tracks, but at least they're not boring."

I think that's the problem with Yuna... in her past 2 albums, there were some good songs, which are all singles, and the album tracks suck big time, except a few. Because they are so damn boring and draggy!

This time, Yuna took a different direction... a more upbeat album, which I thought was quite well.

I think the ballads still rock the most lol, trust you and miss you and No one else are stellar.

And is it just me, or are the drum beats in the start of LOVE MACHINE GUN exactly like Kuu's Run For Your Life???

In any case, DREAM is her best album so far, though the album tracks still need to be tweaked so they become more than meh.

Thank God the boring ballads from WISH/HEART have all disappeared!

So I am listening to the album as I type xD It surely is better than the previous 2, even though the single tracks are generally weaker than of HEART and WISH, it seems Yuna learned a lesson when it comes to her album tracks, so the album at least isn't full of fillers. Ima demo aitaiyo, Brand New World and LOVE MACHINE GUN are all cool. I didn't like miss you before, now I do, even though the aitakutte aitakutte part reminds me of Days. I can survive BAILA BAILA and BREEEEZIN! even though they are pretty plain. I still dislike trust you and No one else is pretty boring. Koiwa groovyx2 and groovyx2 are great ^^ Over all, while Yuna has made progress from her previous albums, especially WISH, her music is still very plain and packed with random English phrases that at times sound really dumb and annoying in my opinion. Body is by far the worst song on the album next to No one else. A nice pop album, nothing impressive though, most of the songs could be sang by just anyone. She needs to work on herself as an artist a bit, else she'll never stick out.

Overall i think this is a 'relax' happy album... I dont really like the way the last few songs were placed.. no one else and body is rather less exciting and then jumps to the groovy.. i think it's rather contrasting.

I think the album is a disappointment. Her first album Heart was pretty good, then Wish was only half as good, and I think Dream is better than Wish but not as good as Heart. I still can't believe how awful Love You is.

Ah after almost the whole day, I really started loving Ima dem aitaiyo and LOVE MACHINE GUN. even trust you isn't that bad if I forget about the annoying chorus.

Oh goodness I'm starting to like BAILA BAILA. It's ridiculously annoying but oh so fun.

I think this album was aimed at consistency. Unlike her past 2 albums, there isn't as much of a margin in terms of quality of each track. I actually enjoy listening this album because it feels like an album as a whole. Moreover, there isn't really a BAD track on there... just safe and not over-the-top. I like all her new album tracks! =D

As expected my copy came today! Unfortunately unlike her past 2 albums the cover is also the CD+DVD as on the slipcase too, which means I don't get the CD Only cover :weep Nevermind! By the way, the slipcase is sparkly like how Koi wa groovyx2 was, just that the sparkly circles are smaller, if you know what I mean LOL. I'll post pics soon.

i listened to the new song, i must say, i have to delete the first track, its so annoying!

We won't know sales until the week is over but HEART was #1 on the daily and weekly charts and WISH was #3 on the daily and weekly charts. Maybe she'll move up in the upcoming days.

#4 is a decent position. Like what Lisa said, it really doesn't deserve the #1 position. Of course it'd be nice for it to be #1 but as long as the album stays in the top 10, I'll be happy =)

You guys know that for the artists that get #1 its not because of the quality of their work but because of how popular they are? Yuna isn't popular anymore in fact like Karen said in a previous thread her popularity died with NANA's.

it's sad that her peak in popularity in Japan is so short . She was so huge during the time when the 1st NANA movie opened in Japan & then HEART went to #1 & etc

it went downhill slowly bit by bit after the 2nd NANA movie onwards (because I heard stuff that it's not as good as the 1st after several hot guys were replaced in the sequel)

That'll forever piss me off. How HEART was so crappy that it scared fans and potential fans from her next albums (though WISH was only slighty better). Now, when the best album -IMO- she's put out at this point, is ignored, I just.... ugh bad timing is all it is. Happy that my expectations for DREAM were met and will gladly take #4 because it's not too huge a difference from #1 and #3 /end rant.

I mean, I was very disappointed with HEART's album tracks..and that just kills my liking for it.
WISH had mediocre singles (Except I'm Free) and some rather...weird album styles...even the ballads were meh...
but this album has a brighter feel to it i feel...complemented with bright covers
