Yeah they didnt stand a chance against arashi tought against trouble maker, but they still got second place ranking. These boys have number 1 potential I always say "this one for sure is number 1" but nope hopefully rain gets nuber 1 ha they deserve it cuz lately theyve been going up the rankings its just the number 1 spot. Considering the strongly falling single sales, Uso would definitely have been able to get a number 1. Their other singles, however, don't sell enough in their first weeks to reach number one, except for really weak weeks (lol.). Like when AAA got a no. 1 with MIRAGE, or Girl Next Door got no. 1 with Infinity XD

yeah I know what you mean but compared to other rock bands out there , SID's probably 1 that has quite steady sales & at least their releases don't drop like a bomb in weeks to come unlike BREAKERZ

Kioon Records should do their homework a bit more effectively because if this keeps up , no way they're able to get a #1 for their material >_<

They MIGHT be able to beat her if RAIN is as popular as Uso (Uso sold around 75k in its first week, which I think some of YUI's singles have also done), but I don't think it has such a strong tie-in. XD

YUP I think these boys have a no. 1 single long overdue since their major debut theyve been getting 2s but they couldnt copete with arashi(500k sellers) but it didnt look bad though cus the artist that had no3 and no4 positions sold whak and SID sold 70k, hopefully they will beat YUI to mother I love YUI to death but idk, then again she has been getting her latest singles to no 1 spot though.

From what I've read this band actually has alot of male fans, of course like any other band that consist of boys they are going to have their crazy fangirls surpassing the male fans. I know Mao is way tooooooooo feminine but that man has alot alot alot of charisma that is just to difficult to ignore.

Of course, the music is completely separated from their looks. I like some Visual Kei songs but I really, really dislike the style XD.

RAIN might even become a new favourite for me ...

I know that SID was very Visual Kei initally in their indie days but sorry I have no interest in VK groups

Yeah, they're one of the most stellar artists I know! Monochrome no Kiss sold 60k or so in its initial run (eventually 85k but it was rereleased), Nidome no Kanojo sold 50k, Uso was of course extra popular and sold 110k or so, then both one way AND Sleep sold 55k. I've never seen an artist being THAT stellar with single sales o.O.

Well, maybe Acid Black Cherry. (Always sells around 50~60k)

I'm somewhat guessing they will. hikari had 3 singles released before it, which seems to be a somewhat standard number in the Japanese music industry XD. I hope they won't release it too late in the year. Maybe somewhere in August?

They will stage SID Summer Festa 2010 ～SAITAMA SUPER LIVE～ which will start on 31st july & all tickets have been sold out

so maybe after that wrapped up , they will either release another single then a new album

Well, YUI doesn't sell LITTLE either. SID has only recently started to have these figures. YUI is generally in the region of 70-80k in the first week. Last year SID was mostly in the 30-40k for the first week, barring Uso and now RAIN, of course.

Uso & Rain are probably considered their more best selling singles cos of Fullmetal
